If you rely on your car and want a shop that will keep it in good running condition, this is the place. You will save time and money over going to the dealer. The place was so chill and not busy when I went (without an appointment). But they are usually busy and an appointment is recommended.

Our son is going to school in LA and his car needed some routine service and his brakes checked. We live in Ohio and read some reviews about Duke and told our son to take his 2010 Honda Fit there. Duke checked out the car and gave our son a quote, which he shared with me via text. Was bit more than I thought, then my son called and put Duke on the phone with me. Duke explained everything to me and was very professional and super knowledgable. Our son said that everyone in the shop were super nice as well. Duke said that he would make sure to take care of our son as it is his goal to make sure that he comes back for all his automotive service needs. The reviews I read about Duke were exactly right! Thank you Duke!

Duke and his team are all very kind and professional. I got my car fixed a few times, my last one being a car tuneup before I did my cross country moving back to the East coast and I safely reached my destination thanks to Duke! The cost was very reasonable and he informed me specifics about my car (I have no car knowledge Im just a girl) He made me feel very safe and comfortable with my car. If I were to be back in LA, I’ll def go to Duke again!

I have taken my car to Duke Choi's for multiple repairs and always feel like I am getting great service for a good price. I am clueless when it comes to auto mechanics and always TRUST they are not taking advantage of my lack of knowledge. I was referred by a neighbor and I too, have remained a happy customer!

Duke is a great mechanic and even better person. Took my RAV4 in there for a brake issue. Not only did he diagnose it immediately he suggested I explore the dealership first because the car is too new to have such an issue. Other mechanics would happily have told me it had to be repaired immediately and taken my money, but he was kind, straightforward, & honest.

Duke and Ian are fair, honest, and explain everything in detail. Always discounting labor costs and looking out for your best interest. Been going to them since 2020 and I’d never go anywhere else. Great work on my 2006 Acura TL. Thank you Duke and Ian.

One of the ONLY mechanics that I trust in Los Angeles. Very fair, and not shady. I always appreciate his car maintenance advice. Does the work quickly and is good at communicating. He has worked on our Honda Civic, Toyota Sienna minivan and we plan to bring our Chrysler Pacifica to them as well.

Came to bring my car for an oil change. Duke, Ian and the tech Sam are very respectful and knowledgeable of what the car needs. Definitely recommend, also make sure you book ahead as they are by appointment as well.

I went to Duke Choi for years and then went somewhere else that was a little closer to my house. After my new place kept trying to talk me into services I didn't need, I went back to Duke Choi. And surprise, surprise - I didn't need any of the things the other auto place said I needed. Duke is honest and fair and I can always trust what he tells me about my car.

Wow this place is amazing. I needed my splash guard repaired and it was handled promptly. Everyone was so friendly. I felt included because everything was explained to me. I was told the kind of damage there was, what would be done to repair it, and I was able to view the splash guard while they explained everything that was done. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend you check it out.

I was referred to Duke Choi's from the next-door body shop, Mid City Collision. I am a customer of both and love them. Duke Choi's does more mechanical work and has saved me a ton of money in terms of labor and parts. I had a faulty transmission and they replaced it, but I had other suspension problems that compromised the new transmission, and they replaced the new one, subbing out my Camry transmission for a luxury, Lexus transmission at no charge. They really stand by their service 100%!

I've been taking my '01 VW Golf here for a few months now, and I've had several repairs/replacements done here as well as my most recent oil change. They're very friendly, transparent on pricing, and honest, and they take the time to show you what's broken on your car. Definitely recommend.
