This review is simply based off my interactions with the company. It does not reflect any work they do. I reached out and informed them that I had a truck that wasn't a Toyota and wanted to get a lift installed. I told them up front that I already purchased the lift and asked if they would install it for me. They said they would. They then came back and asked what brand of lift I bought. I told them, and they suggested I use a different lift (that they wanted to sell to me...) I told them thank you but I would stick with what I already purchased. At that point, I was told that they would NOT be able to install my lift. I find it odd that when I first informed them of everything UP FRONT, they said they could, but when I declined to purchase a lift they suggested, they told me they couldn't... Very shady business practice if you ask me. If you don't want to install a lift you don't sell, tell me that up front.

Don’t come here unless you don’t need a car anytime soon. The process for taking your car in for anything is an all day thing. They finish working on the cars from the day before first so who knows when you will get your car back. Just be prepared to wait FOREVER!!! Also just as expensive as the dealership. I came once for a vehicle inspection that took all day and never been back. Probably never will due to their lack of efficiency and prices.

After taking my truck to four different shops for a cylinder three misfire, Duggy’s Garage was the one to Finally take care of us. I will now be bringing all of my vehicles to Duggy’s garage due to their expertise, phenomenal service, and pride in their work. They work on my Tacoma and my 6.7 diesel. Also, it’s never a bad time getting to see all the cool builds that come through, and the trucks they have in the showroom. I am beyond happy with their work, and cannot recommend them enough.

After receiving my car back for various repairs I was amazed at how it felt and drove. I would definitely recommend them if you have a Toyota or Lexus, especially if it’s a FJ!!!

As a first-time customer, I was very clear that I wanted to identify the source of the oil leak(s) in my truck and requested an exact cost estimate before any work was done. After dropping off my truck at 7:30 AM, I received a call a few hours later stating the leak was coming from the valve cover gasket and that fixing it would resolve the issue. Later that day, I was informed they needed to add dye and clean the existing oil to properly diagnose the problem. When I asked why this wasn’t done initially, I was told, “That would make sense, but I’m new, and it’s hard to tell exactly where it’s coming from.” They acknowledged the oversight and performed the additional work at no cost. When I picked up my truck, I was told the leak was resolved and that there was no oil underneath my truck, but this was not accurate—there was still oil underneath, dripping, and causing a small oil patch. The result is a standing offer for a free follow-up visit to properly diagnose the issue, which is what I had requested and was willing to pay for from the start. While I appreciate the efforts to make it right, the process could have been handled more efficiently and honestly from the beginning. I wanted the cleaning, the dye, and the diagnosis done correctly the first time to have a thorough initial diagnosis. This would have saved both time and effort for everyone involved.

Visit duggy’s garage for a quick alignment and left a happy customer. The gentleman at the front desk was polite and professional. I appreciated him updating me on the progress of my car while I was in the waiting area. They took it for a test drive afterwards and luckily didn’t find any issues. Will definitely be back!

Visit was great! Mike made it really easy for me. Came in and told him what I wanted for the Toyota Tacoma he gave knowledgeable responses and helped me through the process. He even offered me a loaner truck in order to expedite the process! We got the Tacoma some all terrain tires as well as getting hubcentric wheel Spacers to make The stance more wide. Recommend to anyone!

Worked on my 4Runner. Knocked it out of the park. Every Toyota owner should come here for upgrades. Update. New front suspension has a constant squeak during normal city driving. They apparently couldn’t find the noise, and are now unwilling to do anything. Ignores my follow ups. Shame because I really liked their work and recommended multiple people.

Duggy’s did a clean job on my J200 however the job done was incredibly expensive, $275 for an oil change is very high. It looks like they’ve recently moved into a brand new very nice building but that overhead is definitely being factored into their service costs. There’s a 2 other options I’ve found on IH8MUD and Reddit that specialize in Land Cruiser’s which I won’t name here to avoid any perceptions of a conflict of interest. The one shop I took it to charged me $120 all in for Mobil 1 full synthetic with OEM Toyota oil filter just to give an example. While they did a great job, I won’t return here till their prices come down some to reflect their actual value.

October 2023 Powder Coat Job #1, faded after 3 months August 2024 Powder Coat Job #2, started rusting 10 days later DO NOT USE DUGGY'S FOR ANY OF YOUR POWDER COATING NEEDS! The powder coaters that they use do a very poor job. I would think a shop that charges these kind of rates would use higher quality powder coaters. Since my first experience with them was postitive, I was a repeat customer. I've spent a total of $5,650 with them. I trusted them to take delivery of my C4 Fab steel bumper and to get it powder coated by someone reputable. They have lost me after this experience. September 2023 was when my bumper was delivered to Duggy's and they took it to their powder coater that they used at the time. I picked up my truck the first week of October 2023. Three months pass and my bumper is lightly fading. July 2024, my bumper has significantly faded and started showing rust underneath the coating and this was when I contacted Duggy's. They saw my pictures and said that it should never look like that in less than a year. They agreed to take my truck back and will re-do my bumper free of charge because it was their powder coater's fault. They will be using a different powder coater this time. The service advisor blamed it on a 'bad batch' of powder that their original powder coater used. After I bring my truck home; 10 days later, this new coating is now showing rust after a heavy rain. I reach back out to Duggy's and now they are saying that it may be 'outgassing' issues with the steel/welds of the bumper and to reach out to C4 Fabrications. I reach out to C4 and send them pictures of the issues from the first and second powder coating jobs and they confirmed that it was due to poor prepping. Duggy's response to that is that I will have to fork over $600+ for the labor to remove the accessories/bumper and they will get the powder coating redone for me. Is it wrong of me to think that this is ridiculous that they expect me to cover the labor when I trusted them to get this job done right the first time?

Excellent experience. Open and honest. Full inspection, which includes clean and precise photos. They answer all questions and explain everything well. Will work on custom options based on your needs. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

They now service Teslas! Took our Model X here to install some camber shims and a re-alignment. Professional, courteous and done in a timely manner. The new shop looks fantastic and looking forward to making this my go to repair for our EVs.

Duggy's garage is a tough one for me to pin down in a review. I opted for 5 stars plus some evaluation of why. There are four things you should expect from this shop: 1. Honesty and integrity above reproach. 2. Deep knowledge of, and informed opinions about, the various vehicle mods that exist in the market. 3. Deep technical skill and mechanical ability. 4. Prices that reflect the first three bullets. I essentially see one kind of customer who should go here: someone who needs the right work done the right way after getting the right advice, and who cares more about the end result than the price paid. I have friends who use other off-road shops in town that have lower labor rates, and they are perfectly happy with those shops. Good on them. My situation is that I bought my "buy it used, keep it forever" project, have three kids to raise, and need to delegate most of the responsibility for my rig to someone else and still trust it to be done right. I have a reasonably high income and I'm happy to pay a small premium for that trusted partnership. Integrity is a very marketable trait as well, and I will add that there have been two small discrepancies between my estimate and my invoice. In both cases the specialist was able to resolve the discrepancy in my favor once I mentioned it, and did so without having to ask a higher authority. All in all, I'm very pleased with Duggy's garage, and expect to be a regular customer for many years.

I tried to be a returning customer with another of my Toyota vehicles. We own 3, we will only drive Toyota! My 2002 4runner was sent to Duggy's for a CEL and they told me it was for Knock sensor bank 1. I had just installed the current engine and also replaced the Knock Sensor Wiring Harness because it's a known fail point with older wiring harnesses. I agreed to the repair and price because I just didn't have the time to fix it myself. I was called a day or two back and was told that they couldn't do the repair because they were unable to source any new knock sensors (said mine were 2 prong??? FALSE!), said one was under the intake and the other on the front of the motor ,FALSE! They are both under the lower intake in the valley. I know, I just built the motor. I was also told they couldn't remove the fuel rail due to a rounded off fastener on the high pressure side of fuel system (I was aware there is a rounded off nut on the fuel line but I was previously able to remove when I did the motor swap) There is more than one way to remove that system... They said they couldn't do anything else for me with the current issue and I was to pay $200 to get my vehicle back. Well, I did and I'm still furious because I felt like I was lied to. Just bold face lied to! I ended up doing the repair myself in 3.5 hours. I will no longer refer anyone to Duggy's. Just makes me wonder if the technician was not qualified...did upper management tell them to not proceed at the first sign of struggle...idk. I left there with zero honesty or integrity felt.

When you do excellent work, you can price your services accordingly. Duggy's is the only place we will take our Toyotas. I've been using them for years and they recently got us dialed in with an alignment, fender trim, and adjustment of sway bar links after we installed a lift. I will always recommend them for a good Toyota 4x4 shop in Houston.

I came in with a hot mess of a car and these guys fixed it. Long story short, I had my FJ lifted, mounted 315’s on it and aligned at another shop. Biggest mistake I made! That other shop gave me a car that was wandering all over the place and was unsafe to ride. Duggy fixed all that and even allowed for me to pick up the car after hours with no hassle. Thank you Mike for being such a good sport and for being so understanding. To the tech that took care of this basket case. THANK YOU.
