Bottom line is these guys know way more and communicate way better than any dealer. The price they quoted was the "out the door" price, so none of those crazy shop fees or other fees you see at a dealer. I've got an 11 year old F-150 and these guys knew exactly what was needed and what can wait until later. This is a super professional and well run shop.

Found this shop online via forums and their great reviews. Went in today for an oil change on my 21 Explorer ST. They were excellent from scheduling online to service. Will definitely be back for routine maintenance and anything else.

Very impressed at quality and speed of full timing job on my 5.4 engine. From initial diagnosis to completed job, great communication. Used quality parts and runs like new now. Probably half of dealer price, but not some cut rate shop that isn't thorough.

I love this shop and would recommend them to anyone, especially to Ford owners! This is the second time I have trusted DTX to repair my truck. Both times they have been extremely professional and efficient. More importantly, they are transparent about diagnoses/issues, how they come to find those out, solutions/fixes (with options), and pricing (always giving itemized invoices).

Casey and the Team quickly changed out both cracked Valve Covers and changed the oil and checked all fluids in my 2016 Platinum F150 to keep it running tip top. DTX is the perfect alternative to the stealership.

I brought my 1998 Ford Expedition (5.4L) to DTX Automotive for a diagnostic test after my check engine light came on. A quick check at O'Reilly Auto Parts showed a P0442 code, indicating a small EVAP leak. Given the vehicle’s age (over 25 years), I wanted a professional smoke test for a proper diagnosis. DTX performed the test and asked me to return after Thanksgiving for a more thorough evaluation. When I returned, they claimed the EVAP leak was coming from the top of the gas tank and recommended replacing the entire tank. However, when I pressed for specifics, they couldn't pinpoint the exact location of the leak. It was clear they hadn’t dropped the tank to inspect it thoroughly, relying instead on guesswork. They quoted me over $1,000 for a replacement, even though aftermarket gas tanks for my vehicle don’t exist. This would have meant sourcing a used tank from a junkyard, which I was unwilling to do. Their diagnosis seemed like lazy mechanic work—recommending an expensive repair without properly verifying the issue. Seeking a second opinion, I visited Davis Street Auto near Bishop Arts. The owner suggested that gas tanks rarely fail and the problem was more likely the old hoses or attachments. This made sense, so I decided to drop the tank myself and perform a smoke test. Sure enough, the gas tank was fine—it was the rotted EVAP hoses causing the leak. My experience with DTX Automotive was disappointing. They rushed the diagnosis, relied on assumptions, and pushed for an unnecessary and costly repair. While they may provide good service in other areas, their approach to complex or age-related issues felt unprofessional. I would recommend seeking a second opinion before committing to major repairs here.

Omg!!! So I didn't know much about the shop. I work about 10 mins from them. I drive BMW, mind you these guys really only work on trucks. One of my heads lamps went out. Went to other spots and were not very friendly or even wanted to mess with it Pulled up Josh and Casey, did not even blink eye told them the issue and with 10 mins. Blub was removed and replaced. The area is kind of tricky since its behind a tire. Ty guys

Great experience with DTX. I literally can’t say enough. This experience was a PERFECT example of how these guys will pursue the HIGHEST level of customer satisfaction. I brought my truck in to get some help with some unsteadiness/rumbling in the steering. I was greeted by Evan. Awesome customer service, very pleasant handoff process. We communicated about some of the potential root causes, of the issue I was experiencing and they went to work with fixing some of the things that we had narrowed the issue down to. Upon reviewing, the techs and I were not completely satisfied with the results. They made it a point to continue to work on the vehicle until we were all satisfied with the results. Although they had to go back and rework, they maintained maximum efficiency so that I would not be overcharged for extra labor time, extra diagnostic costs, or any of the money hungry tactics I have seen at other shops. I live here locally and it is so refreshing to know that I have found a shop that I can go to and find friendly, trustworthy mechanics that will take care of me, and my vehicles with good, honest intentions. I’m not going anywhere else for work on my truck anytime soon.

Really happy with my experience at DTX Auto. The customer service was excellent and they did my state inspection on Thanksgiving eve on the spot. Took less than 15 min total. Will definitely be going back for my routine maintenance and if I have any issues with my car. Thank you!

I Can't Say Enough Good About DTX!! My kids got in a jam while visiting the children's hospital and being 2 hours from home wasn't sure what to do. So naturally Dad was called and once I prayed for God to intervene I instantly found DTX (which was only a mile away). When Casey answered and I told him the situation he instantly took over and assured me that we had nothing to worry about. I got the kids in touch with him and he fixed the problem, took it for a test drive and sent them on their way back home. Once he knew they were good he called me to settle up and charged me a very reasonable rate. It's a helpless feeling when your kids and grandkids are hours away and u can't help. But GOD & Casey at DTX made the whole situation seem flawless. I'll definitely be stopping by if I'm ever in the area to give this man a handshake from one dad to another!! THANK Y'ALL SO MUCH!!

I have taken several company vehicles to DTX and they have addressed issues and looked at our vehicles faster than i can even get an appointment at other companies. They are honest and don't try to up sell you on work you don't need. I now take my personal vehicles here as well.

I highly recommend DTX for any Ford engine repairs! I have a 20 year old Holiday Rambler motorhome that had a check engine light that no one would touch. They diagnosed the issue and replaced the fuel pump, which required them to lower the fuel tank and was not an easy task. Everything runs great now and I’ll be back for all my maintenance needs.

Needed a state inspection. Called in the morning. Was invited to specify a time during that day. Agreed on 2:00 p.m. Arrived at 2:00. Departed at 2:16 with the necessary paperwork. Easy peasy.

We just found them so this was our first time using them for repairs, but they did a great job fixing my Explorer. No hassle or delays; they had to order a part and wait for that but it was well-communicated and got there within a day. They actually answered the phone (which I have found is not always the case with other auto shops/dealers) when I called and let me know as soon as the repairs were done - which was faster than I hoped. Great job, thanks guys!

Folks. These guys are “on”. I’ve now had the opportunity to get my truck (2019 KR) wired on three times. First was cam phaser repairs. Then oil change. This last week replaced rear disks and pads. So far? Perfection. I don’t think they are the cheapest shop in town, but from a value perspective it’s worth the $$ to get on time and right the first time service. My son and I use them for our F150s. So should you!
