Complete motor exchange (new long block) truck given back with check engine light for a misfire. Took it back twice for same thing with in first 40 miles. Basically over 9,000 dollars had to go somewhere else to get it fixed

I live in Des Moines and I was in Council Bluffs for a pair of concerts; Turnpike Troubadours and Whiskey Myers, in case anyone is curious. They were amazing! Haha! On Saturday, after the last show, my starter gave out. I'm a AAA member, but they would only tow me 5 miles for free. A friend in the Council Bluffs area recommended Drennan Auto and I'm so glad they did. These folks had me up and running before the the shop opened on Tuesday. It only took them a day to diagnose, get the part and fix my vehicle. Things got a little weird a week after I returned to Des Moines. My car wouldn't start again and had the same issue as when I was in Council Bluffs. Long story short, it ended up being a faulty starter. Travis contacted the parts house and communicated with the mechanic here. The parts warranty covered everything including the labor charge for the shop here and I couldn't be more relieved. Thanks for running an honest business and caring about your work and your reputation. 5 stars !

Outstanding customer service! They got my vehicle in right away. Even gave me a ride home after I dropped my vehicle off. In the end, it turns out I didn't need new brakes like I previously thought. I tried to pay them for taking the time to look at my vehicle. They refused to charge me for anything, they just asked that if I needed anything in the future to think of them. I appreciate their honesty! Thank you!

Went in with a check-engine light on. They hooked my vehicle up to a code reader at no charge and explained what was going on in a respectful manner. Took my vehicle back to get the repairs done. Would highly recommend Drennen Automotive to anyone!
