Let me first start by saying I am a one hundred percent disabled Marine combat vet on a fixed income. Douglas seemed very friendly, considerate, and understanding other than some of their communication errors between their techs and their office. They are a pretty decent company, other than one big thing with them that you need to watch out for, they will tell you that it's a free inspection for your car, what they won't tell you is that if they feel like they've gone over the free inspection window. They are going charge you for an hour of labor, which comes out to be about $150 and they are going to charge you for that hour of labor without even notifying you and saying, "Hey, if we go past this point, we're going to have to charge", not at any time do they say this. So I would be weary at Douglas Auto, and if they tell you it's a free inspection, then get it in writing and get it signed. Because now I'm stuck getting my car towed somewhere else, and I have to pay them $150 for a free inspection. I will never be back for anything

Jean and the team at Douglas Automotive were able to fit my wife’s Tacoma into their busy schedule in order to diagnose and repair the clutch and I’m very happy with the work performed as well as the price. Fantastic place! Highly recommend! They took on a job a lot of other shops wouldn't do. I needed some wiring fixed within my wiring harness. They were very fair on pricing. The service was phenomenal! The staff is friendly and personable. And most importantly, my Jeep is on the road again! Thank you guys!

Stay away! They put my outer tie rods on the wrong side. The tie rods have R & L listed on them and the incompetent mechanic put R on the drivers side and L on the passenger side. I realized this once I heard a loud grinding noise. My aluminum wheels are now ruined because they grounded on the outer tie rods. Very upset.

Douglas automotive really went above and beyond trying to resolve my issue; and when they determined they couldn’t resolve my problem without it being a pricey solution they credited me for the diagnostic fee. They were patient when trying to diagnose, educated me on my options, and even offered me a ride to my house. They gained my trust and I will be returning for future services, thank you!

They were able to get our vehicle in quick and determine where the coolant leak(s) were. The estimate was reasonable and they were willing to work with the warranty company, which covered about half of the cost. Very good experience overall and friendly, timely service.

Fantastic local shop. They were communicative, fairly priced, and did excellent work. They diagnosed and repaired a problem with my 06 Malibu fuel pump that other shops in town quoted me double the price and double the time for. I’ll definitely be back with the auto work I can’t do myself at home!

I'm amazed by the great service that was provided to vehicle in a timely manner. I had previously taken my vehicle to another mechanic that ended up messing up my car worse than it was and overcharged me for it! I contacted Douglas Auto repair last week and made an appointment this week because my engine light was on and my car was acting up weird. after properly diagnosing the car they ended up ordering the proper parts and doing a great job fixing it! The service was a job well done and at a very honest price. I will be coming to this place If I ever need a car service again. I'll make sure to mention the place to my colleages for whenever they need a car service!

Long drive for oil change but worth the inconvenience. Saved me hundreds of dollars first visit. Recommended not buying most expensive new tires. Sun damage will destroy tires before warranty expires. Honest car service.

Top notch service. My heater issue was diagnosed after a brief description of problem. Work was performed in the time and price promised - and my pickup had out of state plates! The place may be a bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth finding.
