Disappointing Experience: Rude and Discriminatory Treatment If I could give zero stars, I would. I had used this company years ago for an inspection sticker, despite encountering unfriendliness. Recently, my husband sought a diagnostic check for a used vehicle he purchased. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by extreme rudeness, unprofessionalism, and what felt like blatant racism towards us. Despite our politeness, they seemed disinterested in assisting us, as if our money wasn't valued. Disheartened, we left and took our business to a dealership instead. It's disappointing when local businesses drive customers away with such behavior, pushing us towards larger chains.

My entire family & I have used Dorr's Automotive for everything from collision to maintenance for over a decade. Mr. Keith is by far the most experienced in this area & consistently provides the highest quality service. His mechanic, Mike, is proficient, honest, & has quickly resolved every issue I have ever encountered with any of my vehicles. They are the best & I would never consider going elsewhere!

Mr. Keith has the knowledge and experience to fix just about any problem. In my 04 vette I had an electrical gremlin that was keeping the car from starting intermittently. He was able to fix it in under week after u had brought it to several repair shops to include the dealership.

Totally professional, and fast. I was very impressed the shop is super clean and organized. I took my car to another shop in slidell that had my car for over a month. Every time I called them they said "I am gonna start it on Monday. When I went there on Tuesday I saw my car with grass grown up around it. I took it to Dorr, and I was back on the road in 2 days. I will definitely be back.

I have used Dorrs 2 times for tires. Mr. Keith had the best prices and the fastest service. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I will continue to use Dorrs for my vehicles.

Keith Doors is a thief.He damaged my car and stole my money. Keith is also a liar and very dishonest,.Keith you lied to me when you said you would refund my money, I hope everyone that reads this decides not to do business with you.

Quote you a low price to get you in the door and then charge twice as much as quote when you go to pick up. For a guy that's been doing this so long, I can't imagine Keith was being anything other than a bad business man and deceptive. He said "I'll make it up to you on the next one." What next one? You gouged me once already and you think I'm going to let you do it again? Also sloppy work that I way over paid for. Go elsewhere if you read this review. Much better more honest shops around Slidell.

This is the best mechanic shop I’ve ever been to! The customer service is amazing. I’ve been using them for a year now for oil changes, engine repairs, maintenance and anything my vehicle needs! Their prices are the best at least in my opinion I drive an Infiniti. I will never use another mechanic shop they are absolutely amazing.

Brought me in for what he said was 2k in repairs and upgrades at the end he wanted 8k. After paying for what I thought was a great job it broke down and had to take it back 3 times. Still isn't right.

I had to pull my vehicle from this place today on 6/30/21. On 6/10/21 I dropped my 2021 Chevy Silverado off for a flowmaster job. They called me before noon and told me the truck was ready but it was muffled snd not loud. The lady Brenda and the mechanic said they did not know why. They called me back that Monday and told me to drop it off the following Saturday to fix. My truck sat there for half a day before they pulled it in. Since they close at 1:00 on Saturday they were unable to fix snd sent me home with my truck. I was busy the following week so I called snd set up a noon appointment on 7/30/21. I dropped vehicle off at 9:50am and did not here from them. I called Brenda at 12:58pm and she said she would check on status snd call me back. 2 hours went by with no call. I got suspicious and jumped in my wife’s car to run up and check to find my truck in the same spot I left it 5 hours earlier. I called Brenda s and she gave me the run around. I pretty much stopped her in mid sentence and told her to leave my keys I’m coming to get my truck. I told her there was no way I was coming back a 4th day when I paid in full the first day. 5 minutes later her Husband called trying to give me the run around. He just would not let up. Do not use these folks. What professional cuts somebody’s pipes off a brand new 2021 Trail boss not knowing about the baffles in the stock tail pipes? Stay away folks. This is fresh news!!

Mr. Keith was awesome! I had some issues with my muffler gurgling, after hitting a pot hole in New Orleans. Mr. Keith and one of his service members took a look at it, and after 10 minutes of inspection, he came in and told me it was fixed. I was so pleased i had someone so professional to look at it. What i thought would be super expensive, turn out to be extremely affordable. He was super easy to talk to. And fixed my problem in no time. Thank you Mr. Keith!

Terrible service. First of all the exhaust was terrible with nothing but leaks. The owner said he did the spark plug job himself that wasn’t done correctly. Just don’t ever go here or you will waste your money and time. Total waste of money.

Keith has an extreme attitude problem. Brought my vehicle by to see if he'd look under the hood for 30 seconds to see if my cold air intake needed cleaning. OH, but he had a doctor's appointment in about 15 minutes. He had 5 minutes to look under the hood. He refused. I then went back to the car bays. Keith was there quickly talking to his employees. They quickly started closing the doors when they saw me even though it was not closing time yet. I live out of town and "rude crude Keith" wanted me to come back in the morning so he could take the 30 seconds to look at it. He had his employees quick close the doors before closing so they couldn't look at my cold air intake. He will also stretch the truth about how many hours he works every week. Relaxing in a chair isn't working.

Mr. Door took care of us quick and efficient. He got our car on the road and me and my wife back to work. Really knows what he is doing.
