Al is the man! In todays world of low expectations in customer service and poor communications,Al excels in satisfaction to customers and always keeping us informed. I could not be more pleased with choosing his services to completely restore my 1973 240z. I definitely do, and will,continue to boast about Al and recommend to all in need of this very specific market. THANK YOU AL!

I have a 1977 280z that I bought brand new. I have tuned the suspension so the car handles perfectly - to fit my driving style. I owned a 370NISMO, and found my '77 handled so much better that I decided to trade the NISMO and upgrade my old 280 - so it would be totally updated, yet still have that classic Z feel. Al worked with me through all the planning details and decisions. The attention to detail that I have seen in the other cars he has done gave me the confidence to entrust him with my Z. I have had others work on the car over the years and have been disappointed in the result because they either did not know or did not care about the car. I found Al always accessible and willing to answer my questions. He has provided photos of the build process so I can see (and be part of) the progress. The work is extensive, he is building a high-performance turbo charged engine, converting to Wilwood brakes, custom exhaust, converting my 4-speed to a 5-speed with a short throw shifter, custom paint with a body kit, new leather interior with all the tech upgrades and sound system, LED headlights and taillights, and installing factory A/C, plus a lot more. I will post again with photos when the car is finished.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for the service I received! Al took in my 1973 240z that had been sitting up for years and had every possible issue that you could imagine. He did a phenomenal job and had the car purring like a kitten when he was done. I want to especially point out the level of service that was provided. Al went over and beyond on a number of occasions to make sure that I left a happy customer. He definitely left a stellar impression on me and I would absolutely recommend his work. I could not be more happier with the service I received. Al definitely knows his stuff and delivers a top notch service.

The "Doctor" (Al) has been a pleasure to collaborate with during the ground-up restoration of my '76 280Z. Identification and selection of the best combination of systems and components to fulfill my vision has been great fun with Al's assistance and suggestions. The quality of workmanship throughout the process has exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Doctor Datsun Restorations for any job, large or small.
