I'm from MN, in Coronado for the winter, and needed a new tire for my Acura RDX that had picked up a screw a month earlier. The patch my dealer at home had done wasn't holding. A Google search of the tire specs showed the exact tire I needed was in stock at this store. I made the purchase online and scheduled an appt. for the next day. Jesse at the counter was very pleasant and helpful, as was the installer Christian. Even though the place looked pretty busy I was in and out in half an hour with my driving peace of mind restored. Thank you!

I used to love this tire shop. However, everytime I come to them to help me fix a flat tire. I always come up purchasing tires either the pair or the 4. The day before yesterday, I had a flat tire, tire sensor was showing that it was between 18 air pressure. I had taken the car to another place since that one was closest and I was afraid to drive the car like that. Unfortunately, I had forgotten the special key to remove the tire. They were only able to patch my tire temporarily. There was no nail nor nothing on the tire. The guy put some air and he showed me where the air was leaking. The next day, I come to discount tire, at first when they checked the tire they said” Mam, we checked your tire and there is nothing wrong with it, we don’t see anything!” I tell them yes there is an air leak ai never said there was a nail. They checked again. They come back to me and showed me where it is. Dude I know where it is the other placed showed me. Anyway, he tells me WE CANT FIX IT!!! I can replace it for you but I suggest buying another tire. I was so mad because every time I come with them I always have to buy. No matter what is the issue you need to buy. The guy tells me at first. “We can replace this one free but if you get the other one I will have to order it because I don’t have that tire. We can put the spare tire in the mean time.” I was like great you don’t have it. Now, I asked him” How much for the tire? He tells me the price over 120 dlls right. I asked him if I buy the other 3 how much would it be. I can’t have just the two back ne and not the front ones. He goes back and checks the price. He tells me the price but he never never gave me the option what other tired were out there. Basic, Middle or Highest cost. Anyway, I said Iñl change them all, he bever came back stating that he would place the order since they don’t have the tire. That’s what he said at first We dont have it. I see my old tires set on the floor and than comes back your lug nutz are swollen!! Um like what???!! Um I week b4 took my car to the dealer and they didn’t mentioned anything about that except the part where Soon I will need to get new tires. But not too soon. Um i was like just put ghe freaking spare tire since you said you will order them because there is no inventory. Well, few minutes later they had place new tire set I was like didn’t you said there was no tires here? I ended paying the tires and the guy tells me, the tire sensor should dissapear within 15 min. I was like okey. Drove to work, it stayed there. After work the sensor tire light stills there. I call the shop and they say bring it here before we close. I go there another dude checks and here we go again YOUR SENSORS ARE WEARING OUT. Specially because of the age of your car. I was like dude there is no issue with my sensors I just took the car to the dealer shop and they ran a diagnostic. I have taken my car for years to the dealership. Well if my sensors are messed up is all because of you. Cause a day before it was not showing until I got the flat tire. He said can get you fixed the sensors I was like no dude you are selling again. Um like no I will take it to the shop and Ill have them see it. I took off!! After 20 min driving the car the tire sensor was off and I was able to see the tire pressure. See dude, there was nothing wrong with my sensors or my car being old. I will definitely be taking my car to the dealership to have them check the lug nuts and my advisor said he would have it replaced. There was a guy who had 3 nails on his tires and they told him “ we are fixing it for you” 20 min later he was gone. No need to buy new tires. I am so disappointed of there service. I will avoid at all cost coming to Discount tire. You guys never gave me a choice in the brand of tires. at first they say they don’t have the tires, but when I said Ill replace them all, you do have them all. I also want to add that 2 different guys were always coming up to me to tell me different things. Never I had the same advisor coming up.

Bought new tires instalation was fast but wheels were balanced wrong and had weights falling off, id check before you leave the store to avoid coming back like me.

This place is absolutely amazing. Made an appointment for tire balance and rotation on a holiday weekend and they were so incredibly busy when I arrived. I was still in and out in 30 mins. During that time I watched at least 6 staff members interact with other customers. I cannot believe how incredibly polite and helpful each staff person was. They all seemed to truly enjoy their job and were not in a rush and took the time to explain and greet each customer. It was such refreshing customer service to witness. I dealt directly with Jesse and he was so kind and easy to talk with. We bought our tires from them with the lifetime balance and rotation. So even though we weren’t a buying customer I felt treated great. And our tires have been holding up wonderfully! Would highly recommend!

Edit to earlier review: Jesse at this location reached out to me along with his boss Josh and had me come back ASAP to take care of me. They explained everything going on with the tires and any potential suspension issues that may be present. Overall this is the experience I've come to expect at this location and they made it right! Previous review: I've had a good experience with this location until today. Unfortunately though they're more interested in selling tires than they are servicing their previous customers. I came in with a tire that's still within the legal limits of being driven on and they refused to service it because it's near the end of its life. I was in need of a rebalancing on all four tires that I purchased from them previously and they absolutely refused to service them. I am extremely disappointed I will not be buying tires from here again...

Have been coming to this shop for a long time and the customer service coupled with the rates are the best for any tire shop (they price match big name stores). Made the mistake of going elsewhere to save a few dollars, tires were never balanced properly at the other shop. Discount Tire balanced them fine on the first try, got ride of the highway vibrations. Also, highly recommended their appointment services (online or over-the-phone) for a quick in and out service. I am not getting paid for this review. I hardly provide reviews, but, these guys deserve the 5 stars.

I came here after my tire blew out on the 905 east and no other tire shop had Tesla (EV) tires. I talked to Josh Lopez as soon as they opened and greeted me with a customer obsession! They were able to dive deep on why I got a flat tire. His team took care of me with top tier quality you wouldn’t expect anywhere else. Thanks to Josh I will be coming to Discount Tire for all my wheel and tire needs. Very professional service!

Discount Tire off of Palm is exceptional and has the best customer service around! The prices are hard to beat as well! We will be coming back again for any tire needs. I will say they are very busy and the parking is tight, so you might have to be patient when coming in. July 2024: Still the best tire shop in the area and have been bringing all of my vehicles here. All the staff is helpful and respectful.

Special Ordered 2 tires online, Paid with PayPal, Mount, Balance, and Road Hazard Warranty. Dropped off the spare and picked up and installed. 2nd rim same thing and a 3rd original tire that required a patch and rebalanced. All I had to show was my PayPal Receipt on my cell phone and it was a done deal Best Way to Buy New Tires at the Best Prices for Name Brand Tires. In my case 2 Michelín 215/40/18 Complete price Under $500
