Way over charge for tpms sensors. At first, they scanned only 2 bad sensors but after they took the car in the shop and said all 4 are bad. $40 sensors and $300 labor for less than 30 minutes of work. I will never have my car back to this shop for service again.

i went to this location 30 minutes ago and there’s Asian coworker. He said the star I cannot fix it and I went to different tire shop and he fixed it for me for one minute only he trying to sell me new tire and this is a new car 2025

Exceptional. I've been buying my tires here since I moved to Mira Mesa. I appreciate the free tire rotations and rebalancing that comes lifetime for the tires bought here. I only highly recommend unless it's unavoidable to make an appointment. There are always wait times as I understand it's a busy tire store. So if you want exceptional, please be smart about it and make an appointment. Tire prices are reasonable.

Made an appointment to check my tires and replace them since my previous appointment at Evan’s said the front ones were at 3/32… Dustin was super knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly honest. Told me they actually could go for more than 3k miles before replacing. Because of the great service I had I am glad to schedule my future appointment here.

Update: few months later I realized they put different tires on the same axel in front and back. This is officially the most incompetent place of service in whole San Diego. Bravo guys for ruining my tires. The slowest and most unfriendly discount tire location I have visited. They kept pushing walk ins over appointments and when asked about the delay after waiting more than 90 minutes, I got answer “reschedule if you cannot wait”. Somebody please give them a lesson in customer service.

Came during closing to fix a puncture in my tire on Hollween Night. Not only were they still able to fix the tire, they did the repair at no charge and just asked us to consider coming back when we need tires.

One of their standout features is offering free tire rotations and flat tire services, provided that your information is on record with them. Once the car is taken to the operation desk, the service is impressively quick, often finishing up to half an hour ahead of the estimated time. Another useful service they offer is wiper blade replacement. While the staff informed me that installation is free as long as the blades are purchased from their store, the price of these blades is noticeably higher than at other retailers. Their tire insurance can be a worthwhile investment, especially when a severely damaged tire needs replacing, potentially saving significant costs. Overall, they provide quality and efficient service, but there’s a strong sales aspect to be aware of, as prices for accessories and additional products may be higher than expected.

Extremely disappointed. Bought 2 tires cause on one got a nail hole and the other was lower on tread. Have a 400 mile drive home so to be safe side I bought the tires to make sure I have a smooth trip. Very next day I am wasting hours of my time at another tire shop cause they couldn't air up the other tires and the light came on.

I had a really low air pressure and I pulled up my car at very late almost at the time of closing however Anthony rent a boy and Beyond to help me with the checking the air pressure and make sure everything was good for me to drive I would give him five star and good luck with everything

PROOF ATTACHED. These guys are SCAMMERS. DO NOT GO. I paid these guys 1000 dollars to change my tires and they broke one of my tires sensors. After they BROKE it they told me their machine said I had FOUR faulty sensors and tried to CHARGE me an addition $347. I didn't trust them and went to COSTCO for a second opinion and they told me only ONE was broke by the idiots at discount tires. DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL TRY AND SCAM YOU. Costco receipt shows quantity ONE for the sensors. I have included my broken sensor. THESE GUYS ARE SCAMMERS.

STAY AWAY! Absolute worst experience I have ever had at a retail store period. Got there early, called on the way and was told we're not that busy just pull in when you get here. I was 8 mins out. When I arrived the guy that helped me was great, no complaints. After paying, asked for a time frame and was told 1-1/2 hrs. Not overly happy at that moment as I don't consider that "we're not that busy" but let it go. Requested to be text when complete, in the hopes it may be less. Sat across the street for 1-1/2 and patiently waited. No text, so decided to walk over. Noticed my truck outside and thought great its ready. Walking past noticed nothing had been done. 1-1/2 hrs. of my time is important to me. Was simply told, "we got backed up". Cancelled and left. That guy was extremely rude on departure!!

They do not mind wasting YOUR time. Scheduled an appointment for 3:45pm, arrived at 3:30pm and upon check in informed the service will take 45 minutes to an hour. Then receive a text stating estimated completion time is 1hr 45min. Take a long walk and have a meal and upon returning 1hr 10min later they have not even started. The worst tire shoo service I've ever had.

Update: A handful of months after we got a tire patched, it undid itself. No problem. We need to take the wheel off to put on a temp and drive to a shop. We find out the person who patched our tires from Discount Tire sheared our lug lock key nut making it impossible to remove the wheel. At this point we'll need a tow and wait for an expensive replacement nut key or have the wheel cut off, expensively. I was happy with their service at the time but I realized it was a slap sloppy job. We reached out to this shop and they won't at the least get the tire removed for us. ---- original ---- Carissa was a true professional, patiently listened to me explain my issues with my tire, checked out my car, and let me know the process. Took my phone number to text me when the car was ready to pick up, which is nice. I could pop out and get lunch without having to wait anxiously in the lobby. It took about thirty minutes to diagnose my tire had a tiny nail, which they patched and had me on my way, all for FREE! Thursday noon, and it wasn't busy. I will definitely be coming back for my other tire needs.

Updated Review: they reached out to verify the situation and offered to help remedy the complaint. They helped me tremendously. I appreciate them contacting me. — Went to appointment for free tire rotation. Clerk recommended tire balancing due to mileage. When asked how much it would cost, the bald clerk stated it would be $20. Asked again verifying it’s ONLY $20, he stated yes. Walked around the plaza during the rotation and balancing. Returned an hour later when they were finished. When checking out, a new clerk told me the bill was $80. Clearly it was not $20 but $20 each. When asked if there can be any change to this because the previous clerk stated $20, the new clerk was unable to change the price since the job was completed. Please be clear when stating prices and don’t assume everyone understands what you actually mean, it comes off like a used car salesman. It’s not about the price btw it’s the principle of clear communication, especially when confirming what I heard the first time was correct.

An extraordinary example of great customer service. First, a phone call invited me to come by to diagnose and fix a fix a leaking tire and stated it might take about an hour. When I arrived, they had the car in the bay within minutes, identified and fixed it, with no charge and in less time than I expected. All the staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. Really stood apart in a time when taking care of customers seems to be a lost art. They’ll have my business in the future.

The service is really slow and it’s not because of everyone else it’s because of one person named Lynn. He told me it would take an hour and a half just to check if I had a nail in my tire. This attendant Lynn was really rude and had a bad attitude .There was a long line because of the lack of motivation that this guy had. He moved like a snail and he had a bad attitude. I will never go back to this discount tire.

Disappointed, I got a screw in the thin part of the tire, the bald front guy, mgr rude and snappy, I got the tire certificates for nothing, that tire should be replaced, not repaired. I'm afraid to drive the car long distance.

Like to thank Jose Sanchez who saved probably my life. Came in just before closing to pull a nail. He said no problem safety 1st.. Tire was at 15 PSI. I was thankful he got me in and out for free. WOW. I will be back for tire rotation tomorrow 💯.

My dad went there to fix his tire from nail puncture but they end up wanting him to change all four of his tire and he didn’t want it,first of all he at work but he went cause he didn’t want his tire to be flat at the of the day and or budget wise didn’t let him change all four so because of that they bring the car in just to show that they bring it in and than tell him they not fixing it let him drive off with a nail in his tire.like I mean you guys need to make money but come on now do what right,customer want that particular part to be fix than just fix it.

I got my four tires brand new here 2 years ago Still under warranty. I went back one time because I got a nail in my tire and they threw it away and give me a different one. Every time I went back for rotate. They don’t want To rotate and they keep trying to sell me 4 more tires ,,I feel being harassed , pressure and very tacky .. I never come back here again, but go back to Costco..

It's great if you get a good representative. Not all of them are attentive or....care. I was there 6/8/24, and there was a long line waiting to be helped. One of the representatives did not even care to clear the line by moving faster. He went to the back, looked at the monitor at the back, then stared at the counter, and then dragged his feet to the front counter again without calling the next customer. One of the customers just moved to his counter without being called, and once he got there, this representative did not even acknowledge him. I witnessed the customer waiting there for at least 5 min in front of that representative 😳
