I have been buying tires and warranty certificates from Discount for a long time. This location offers great service. No hassle when you come for balancing and rotation. They don't pressure you to buy what you don't need. I always come in know which tire I'm going buy and they respect my decision. I have had to use the warranties a few times over the years and no hassle from this location. The manager is very hands-on responsive to the customer. Highly recommend this location.

I was given the dumbest advice I’ve ever received from a Discount Tire employee. Employee told me that rotating tires sooner than 6-8k miles was as bad as not rotating at all. That’s 100% false. That mileage range will wear down tires significantly faster. I’ve been doing most of my own auto mechanics for 24+ years and I’ve run dozens of different tires over the years. You cannot rotate tires too often. I’ve been buying my tires from Discount for 20+ years and will continue to but it sickens me to know that kind of advice is being put out likely to increase sales.

Came in 30 minutes before closing with my car on a tow truck. Michael was very professional in helping me get brand new tires and lug nuts. There was no pressure or hard selling on his part, just an honest professional salesman. They were even able to get all 4 tires on before they closed. Will definitely be bringing in all my cars for future service

This evening I pulled in and waited to have my tired filled with air. I have purchased every tire on two vehicles from discount tire. I do typically go to the location in the Forum, but austin hwy is closer to work. I did not get the gentleman's name. He did not pull up my information then refused to fill my left front tire. I spoke with a co worker who's husband is the manager at a discount tire in helotes who confirmed this is not company policy. Nor does the air machine dictate whether or not a tire can be filled. I was told more than likely the person just didn't want to assist. I will continue to go to discount tire just not this location. I pray that it was sloth and not a prejudice.

Discount Tire at Austin Highway SATX has once again come through with picture perfection. This time around, the Team helped me create the “Classic STI” look - WR Blue with Gold RPF1. Fast installation of tires and friendly service. We purchased tires that weren't in stock (super cheap, long warranty)and waited a week for their arrival. Of note: They did not call upon their arrival though, and I can't say when they would have had I not inquired. Update: I've purchased a new set of tires for 2 vehicles this year from Discount Tire. Fast friendly installation and great prices. We already had one $200 tire replaced due to glass in sidewall tread. Thanks Discount Tire!

I have a 2019 Ford f250 that I bought with aftermarket rims. I ordered new custom forged rims and tires, and when they arrived, we discovered I needed 20 x 10 wheels instead of the 20 x 12s that I was told were installed. John, the manager, took responsibility for the error and ordered the correct size wheels. This level of customer service is unheard of today and I'm going to be a Discount Tire customer for life based on this amazing experience.

I recently updated all of my tires to the discount tires. Since then, I’ve been to the shop for repairs, flats, etc. The staff is friendly but this constant inconvenience is turning me away from the company.

Taylor was the best reception person. Great communication. I realized that they put wrong tires after I came home, gave a call, Taylor made it right although I had to go back. Mistakes happen but understandable, and how Taylor and this Discount tire branch handled the issue was exceptional.

I am a recent convert to DT, started when a branch in California repaired the broken valve stem on my camper for NO CHARGE. I did not have their tires on the vehicle, just went there because it was close and I knew I could get it fixed in a hurry. Expected to pay, but - nada. So I went to the location here in San Antonio for an alignment on my sisters Eurovan Camper. I knew it had a bad wheel, so I had put the spare on before I went. It was over 10 years old, so they couldn't work on it. Had to buy a new tire for the spare, but they did put the new tire on the new rim I bought for the spare after mounting the good tire (on the bad wheel) on the car for the alignment - at no extra charge! These people are just a pleasure to deal with. Large national chains are often not - DT is the exception. Highly recommended.

As usual, the service here at DT is awesome! Came by today for nothing more than to have my tire pressure checked. Oscar assisted me and had me out of there in north time. It's nice to see employees seemingly enjoying what they do at DT. Keep it up! You're blessed to have folks like Oscar employed there.

I stopped by on my way home from work, roughly 5:15. I was driving my husband's truck because my car was in the shop and he's out of town for work and of course, one of the truck tires starts to go flat. When I talk to the employees, named John, he tells me the tire is shot and recommends a replacement. Since it's my husband's truck, I put my husband on the phone to talk to John. John was super patient as we did the back and forth with my husband. He's even more patient and helpful when it's determined we will be getting 4 new tires. At his point, it's almost closing time. He could have pawned us off on someone else or sent us on our way since they were minutes from closing, instead he made sure we were taken care of. Every employee I came in contact was so nice and helpful even though I'm sure they really wanted to go home. I would stop here again, even though we live across town. They were awesome!

Initially went in for a quote to get lugnuts replaced. I was impressed with Micheal’s friendliness & knowledge. He explained exactly what it was they were going to do. He gave me a sense of security leaving my car with them. Thank you Micheal & Taylor!!
