I called when the shop was about to close (we're talking 10 minutes). They told me to come on in and they didn't want me driving on a bad tire. My safety was their concern and they would stay to help me. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and they had me in new tires in under half an hour. Prices were extremely reasonable and come with road hazard insurance and everything. Would recommend.

Had a tire that wouldn't stop leaking after installation by Just Tires. JT kept telling me they didn't have time to fix it. Discount Tire on Millbrook fixed it in 15 minutes, for free. I can't recommend them enough. I'll be back here the next time we need new tires.

I always prefer discount tire and would recommend them to anyone, but this location was especially great. Quick service, friendly staff, and took extra care to make sure my rim was not damaged from running flat.

I believe this is my 6th set of tires, across my family, purchased from this location. The folks who work at this store are always fantastic. Very polite and extremely efficient. I think this was the quickest turnaround they have done for me thus far. 4 tires in 40 minutes. Highly recommended.

This is my go-to for tires for all my vehicles (SUV and truck), since I moved to Raleigh almost 10 years ago. The tire prices are very good and are comparable to Costco prices. The tire brands they carry are solid. The staff is always polite, professional, and friendly. On my last visit (to replace 4 Highlander tires), it was not busy and I was in and out in under an hour.

This place sets a new standard for customer service. Everyone in the store is extremely helpful and friendly and also price match tires for me versus a competitors price. They even put a new set of lug nuts on for me for free, which was completely unnecessary considering how much they helped me out with the tires themselves. I love when people go out of their way to make sure you are safe and within your budget! Won’t go anywhere else for tires and if I ever need a break from the bad customer service in this world I will be sure to stop back by this Discount Tire thank you again to everyone working today for your help!

I bought new tires, they installed them. I was heading home, few minutes later I heard a loud noise coming from the rear. I pulled over, noticed the tire guard rubbing against the tire. I pulled back up to Discount Tires, and asked why this was like this and he said it was already lose. That's Not True.! Someone should've mentioned it when I was inside, before I left. I had to remove my tire guard. Thanks for not being honest, bad communication..

I definitely prefer this location. Friendly staff. Sometimes the wait times seem extremely long but they have always gotten done ahead of schedule. Jake is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I have already recommended to others to come here for tires. Whether it's to fix or replace I think it's definitely worth it. This place will continue to be my first choice.

Listen, this review is for anyone who has had bad experiences at NTB, Meineke or any other tire shop that has just left a bad taste in your mouth. This is the most honest and kind shop I might have ever been to. There is no other place I’ll be bringing my car to when it comes to wheels. I had all 4 tires changed and ended up having to change all my TPMS sensors-the manager JC promised he’d take care of me for having to come back and he meant it. These people are genuine and want to help. Not only that, I dropped my car off both times due to the fact that I had to work but if I had the day off I would’ve left in under an hour BOTH times. They finished my car and others so quickly I was impressed. 10/10

Spent $1564.06 on 4 tires. Drove off and my pressure indicator was at 41 on one of the tires. Brought it back and was told, keep driving it will fix itself. Went to 39. After 80 miles still at 39-41. Brought it back again. Told it'll be an hour to check the tire. Been sitting here for 20 minutes, nothing. Yesterday they had a lot of labor and few customers. Maybe it would have been a good customer service move to check the tire yesterday. In 2 minutes. Now I'm concerned they sold a bum pirelli tire. 4.0 rating is being generous for what could have been a one minute fix (not 1+ hours out of my day...for a tire pressure issue on a brand new tire).

What a great place! We were from out-of -state, had a low-pressure warning. They found a nail, patched the tire, and, amazingly, didn’t charge us! All the staff were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Highly recommend!

I discovered a screw in one of my tires a few days ago. Since I had purchased my tires from Discount Tire, I called to make an appointment. The person I spoke to was friendly and professional. I was told to arrive a bit before my appointment, which I did. I wasn't sure if I would have to get a new tire, which wouldn't have been an issue since I had purchase protection, but luckily, I didn't. They were able to repair the tire and the work was completed before my actual appointment time.

UPDATE: I have raised my rating from 2 to 3 star. After this review, the store manager contacted me and offered to resolve all the issues. We have not yet taken advantage of that offer, but I do appreciate the willingness to make it right. This was my second visit to Discount Tire, after 25 years of Just Tires. On this visit, the salesman tacked on an additional warranty without any consent from me. Frustrating to have him refund me the cost after I noticed it while waiting. Also, they ruined a lugnut and tried to tell me that I needed to replace the stud. Inspecting the nut, it is clear that they cross-threaded the nut. And then ripped the cap off the nut. Both are indications of improper use of an air wrench. On my previous visit to discount tire (different vehicle, a few months ago), they ruined multiple lugnuts and then told me it was because they are cheap lugnuts. Funny...the nuts are 20 years old and were just fine until Discount Tire touched them. When I inspected each one, it is obvious that the mechanic only had the impact wrench partially on the nut, thereby damaging the cap. I have 3 different Jeeps with the same capped lugnuts and never damaged the lugnuts when changing tires myself or when serviced by my previous tire shop. I thought maybe I just got the new guy, so I let it slide. Now that it has happened a second time, it seems this is a shop-wide problem. I will not buy tires (for any of our family's 7 vehicles) at Discount Tire again. I will return to my previous tire shop (Just Tires).

Took my RAV4 in for a tire rotation. I had an appointment and they ran late. Once they got my car in they had to replace one of the tire sensors (tpsm). They recommend replacing all 4 when only one failed. $70 ea plus tax. No thank you. I can buy 4 of them for under $30. I went ahead and paid to get the only failed unit replaced. Once they finally got my car in they came back to me and said they would have to replace the lugnuts as the edges were rounded and they could not guarantee they could torque them. I said just put the tire back on and I will rotate them myself at home. I have a torque wrench but being a 100% 76 year old disabled vet I had hoped to avoid this chore. Plus I wanted to keep my warranty intact. They said they can't let me leave without being assured of the proper torque. So again I was charged $70 for new lugs that I could buy elsewhere in chromed 304 SS for $30. About a month ago my 13 year old (supervised by my son in law) used a lug wrench to remove the tires when we redid the brakes. They were not hard to remove nor re-torque properly. Why do I feel like I have been taken advantage of. Such BS! I won't be back.

What a bad experience after getting 4 new tires. Provided my 4 TPMS sensors after confirming with the guy they will do it since they were charging me for installation of the tires anyway. Not only they "forgot" to put it. I had to come back because they did not align the tires properly with the balance point. Came back for them to do it and was given the car in the exact same condition. On top of that they did not calibrared the sensors since "they were not compatible" BS, because the guy who took my order confirmed the brand can be calibrated with their machine, also, they were trying to upselling me everything they could. They were pissed I have declined their sales. I was told because of the inconvenience they will fix it for free and they tried to charge me for it. When I pointed out it was getting done for free they made it me look like a dick that did not want to pay for anything. I run the operations for the company I work for and I am the one making the decision where to buy stuff (including tires). I will make sure the company doesn't buy tires from this place anymore.

Friendly people that are not trying to scam you out of money. The man that helped me walked me through the (free) diagnostic and explained my options and pricing for if I had it taken care of in house but also explained ways I could save money. I had a damaged wheel and couldn’t afford to buy four new ones so I got one from eBay and brought it to them. They mounted the tire and put it on my car in 15 minutes 👍 As a young woman, I really appreciated their honesty and that they didn’t aggressively try to upsell me after my first decline

SUPERB! This Shop is Managed and Serviced primarily by very young men. Today, alot of people bad talk our young people-(I do not like or adhere to) I'm here to say that these young men are excellent. There is a wait, however, it's worth it. They care about service and quality. 18-24 year olds. They are outstanding young men. I had $4,000 tires and rims installed. They were so careful and respectful. Great job. They should be proud of the young men they are and the future they have in whatever career they undertake. I'm so impressed. Gregg

Worst tire shop ever I've tryed them two times now. Once the messed up a set of aftermarket wheels to the point they gave me the front tires. Then for redemption I have a appointment and they don't even call to say hey we don't have your tires. Go somewhere else

This place takes AMAZING care of their customers. They aren’t here to nickel and dime you. They sincerely care about you and go above and beyond in making you feel taken care of. Since moving to Raleigh, I’ve gotten two nails in my tires, and they have been so kind and generous. As long as I am living here, I am going nowhere else. After all that they have done for me (and they didn’t have to), they have earned my loyalty.
