Not sure how a place so new can be so filthy. The showroom has never seen a mop and the parking lot has more hazards than they remove because no one sweeps.

Of all my retail happy places Discount Tire (DT) makes my top 10! I know that may sound different coming from a woman, but it's the truth! The guys up front and in the garage are always gentlemen, patient and always kind. They are upfront, and while they work to ensure I get the best tires for my vehicle, they are never a hard sell. I'm a DT lifer, but I was forced to try somewhere else after they closed the old store, and the new one on Sam Houston Parkway wasn't open yet. I had a tire emergency close to my home in Pasadena. I can only say that the other place was a strong reminder of why I only buy and get my tires serviced at DT! I'm so THANKFUL when I'm driving around because I know these guys also have my safety in mind, and the extended road guarantee provides peace if mind out on the roads. I've only one request of your corporate office--PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE open a Discount Tire in Lake Charles, LA! I'll be moving there after retirement, and they need...I need... your excellent business there. Thanks, DT Guys in Pasadena, Texas. You are the best!

Received a quick response from previous online review from Kyle. Promised a follow up if I followed a link. Never was contacted. I never received a call back from the manage after trying to follow up myself. Currently have three cars and have purchased probably 15 sets of tires, if not more.

I purchased four Bridgestone Dueler tires for my SUV on August 16, 2023, based on the store’s recommendation of their superior quality. However, within a year and approximately 8,000 miles of use, far short of the estimated 70,000-mile warranty, I’ve encountered recurring issues with the tires not maintaining air. In April 2024, I was informed of sidewall damage and had to replace a tire at my expense ($65). Today, I faced the same issue and was quoted $104 for a replacement. Each time, the problem was attributed to road hazards causing pin holes in the sidewall, which I find questionable given the tires’ short lifespan and limited mileage. Furthermore, when I questioned the integrity of the tires, employee Brian M. responded in a manner I found rude, unprofessional, and insulting. I had to request a manager, Robert, who was more communicative and open to discussion about the tire quality. I am deeply dissatisfied with the repeated issues, the quality of the tires, and the customer service. The store’s claims about the tire damage and their recommendations have led me to lose trust in them. After years of being a loyal customer at various locations, I will no longer be patronizing Discount Tire. Additionally, I noticed discrepancies in the documentation of my car’s mileage on the receipt, which further undermines my trust in the store’s honesty. The tire damage, described as a pin hole but visibly the damage looks isolated, but was again attributed to road hazards and my driving, which I find hard to believe based on the look of the overall tire. In conclusion, I believe the quality of the tires, the level of customer service, and the honesty of the store need to be reviewed and questioned. I hope my experience can serve as a cautionary tale for other customers.

Let me start by saying this review is for my father and the service that he received which was completely unprofessional. He had his tires rotated and balanced and the weights fell off and his new tires in front now has excessive wear and discount will not compensate for that wear they caused on his truck. He was there for 3 hours to long a wait and while he was waiting they tried to sell me everything he did not need. He also felt like they were trying to nickel and dime him for every penny he had. He also had them place a tire sensor in his wife’s car and they did not sync the sensor they installed to the car. He had to make a special trip back to discount tire so they could finish. Overall, customer service here is absolutely the worst you can get. The lack of attention to detail the lack of management the lack of finishing their job that they start on customers vehicles it’s just beyond disappointing and unprofessional. I recommend you look elsewhere and don’t give this company any business because it’s clear that they don’t care about their customers or damages they may cause.

Purchased 4 tires a while back and went in for tire rotation. Called ahead to make sure they weren't too busy since I didn't make an appointment. I was in and out within 30 min. Staff were very pleasant, and there were plenty of them to handle customers.

Terrible experience at this location. Pasadena Texas. Beltway 8 near Vista. Last month, this location installed "new tires" that were dated 2022 on the sidewall. I immediately experienced a terrible radial pull. The front counter guy told me he was a certified alignment tech, and it was my alignment. Negative. Perfect caster split. Camber and toe perfect. I left and went to a different Discount Tire location. They took off the tires and installed brand new 2024 dated Toyo AT III tires. The pull was immediately gone. $2400.00 in tires. Beltway 8/Vista location refused to help. Thank you discount tire on Southmore Ave in Pasadena Texas for your knowledge and professionalism.
