Awesome today! I’m having trouble finding out how to write another review so I’m editing a past review. Today I asked for them to replace the rear tires and put the new tires on the front. I forgot to ask about balancing, but was able to see through the window that they balanced them and did what I asked for. Thank you!

Brought in my right front tire for the free flat repair, I wasn't too surprised they said they couldn't repair it. They measured the tread depth on all my other tires, all came back as 3mm. Less than 2 months ago I had some maintenance done at the Honda Dealer and my tread depth measured at 5mm...very convenient for their tool to measure it lower. I went ahead and bought 4 new tires so I wouldn't have to deal with it anymore. Upon getting my final receipt I notice I've been charged for their certificate of replacement for each tire, basically their tire insurance. This was never once mentioned to me, I never said I wanted to purchase this. Make sure you ask to see all those expenses they're charging you for before paying. That's some shady untrustworthy BS, that insurance crap is high profit for them and they just throw it in without asking...unless you're really in a pinch I'd go elsewhere

Told one price online then charged me different price when I got the work done the service guy couldn't understand he was charging me for 2 different services then I was asking for I've never had a issue with them in the past just seemed off today and it wasn't busy

Wasted over an hour here. Made an appointment for 12:30 arrive promptly and 1:45 they informed me they could not locate they all need to remove locking lug nut. So I asked for a refund leave pull out of the parking lot and all of my tires are on 23 psi not the 35 recommended. Incompetence abounds!!!

Have used Discount Tires for at least 5 sets of tires across all my vehicles. I’ve used this location 3 times and have been very satisfied with the service. I especially want to comment on Cody who helped me most recently, as he provided fantastic customer service.

I have visited this Discount Tire location in the past, and the staff and management have always been friendly and knowledgeable. They have consistently provided excellent service during my visits. Recently, I stopped by before Christmas with my daughter, who was looking to purchase new wheels for her car. This was her first significant purchase with the money she earned over the summer. She selected the wheels she wanted online, and after making the payment, we scheduled an appointment. I received a call informing me that due to weather issues, the wheels did not arrive a day before the appointment. I appreciated the proactive communication, as other stores might not have bothered to call. On the day of the installation, the team began working on my daughter's car, and we noticed that the wheels had 10 lug holes instead of the 5 we saw online. We inquired if these were the correct wheels, as the online photo only showed 5 lug holes. Danny, the manager, explained that they were indeed the correct wheels, and the photo was incorrect. He apologized and offered my daughter the option to choose a replacement. Danny then took the time to explain how to identify the number of lug holes when shopping online by checking the model number. My daughter was able to select a set of wheels she was happy with. I want to extend a big thank you to Danny for his patience and helpfulness during this purchase. I highly recommend this Discount Tire location. Ed

Imagine my disappointment after spending over $1,150 on new tires when I hadn't even made it home to have my tire pressure alert come on. Additionally, I expected more attention to detail like fully cleaning the wheels after installation. To make matters worse, I've been on hold for over 35 minutes waiting to speak to the manager on duty but no one will answer my call. While Discount Tires pricing may be competitive, the lack of customer service ensures I will not recommend them to anyone needing new tires.

I have the worst luck with getting object stuck in my tires. Got a huge bolt stuck yesterday and went straight to Discount Tire. Rob was fantastic, and they were able to get four new tires installed in less than an hour, at a great price! We’ve been customers of DT for years and will continue to be!

They gave me a used tire that went flat in an hour. I questioned them about it, they apologized and said they'd give me another tire. I went home and compared my before and after pictures and it had the same exact two colored ink spots (red and yellow and a black mark inside of the yellow circle)from the previous tire and looked kind of run down like the other the tire. I went back raised sand, and showed them the side by side photos, and he could not deny it was the same tire. This time, they actually gave me a new tire with paperwork. I was not going to post a review about this, but months later, my friend went there and had a similar experience where she clearly got a used tire. We're both women, I'm not sure if that's the reason why or what.

I recently had tires installed for my wife's car, and due to an availability issue the store could only install the rears before a trip to DC. We got a flat front tire in DC and had to use another national store there for the repair. It was painful. We were quoted immediate service and a 30 minute patch and plug. It took 4 1/2 hours. We were promised our car would be ready at a certain time, and we took an Uber and got lunch and then Uber'd back to the store. It wasn't ready. So we had to leave again. My overall experience with that place was a 0-out-of-5 experience. I got back and got the new front tires installed in 30-45 minutes as quoted at Discount Tire and it was easy. These guys (and gals) do a great job and really hustle. I highly recommend them.

On a vacation road trip with a private rental car, these guys sorted a puncture for me and checked tire pressures at no charge. Service was exceptional with minimal wait time. Counter staff were very helpful

I have bought several sets of tires from Discount for different vehicles over the years. I have always been very pleased with the service and products. More than once I felt like they went way above and beyond. TODAY I discovered that they do not have a tire alignment machine. How I missed that before I can't explain but, sadly, it will make me think hard before buying more tires from them. It boggles my mind to think that a major tire retailer is not able to check or preform alignments and that you have to go to two stores to buy tires, have them installed and aligned.

Appeared I had a slow leak (indicator turned on after putting in air after 140 mile trip) so I made an appointment and took my car to have them check it out and within five minutes was told they couldn't fix it because they had dry rotted. These have about 40k miles and all four purchased new in 2020. They're clearly not dry rotted. Was told one tire was 11 psi (checked when I left and it's not, would be clearly visible if so) and the tread was wore out (it's not). The guy immediately tried to sell me on some tires and a credit card. I passed and left. I used to go to Discount Tire in other bigger cities without an issue.

Can't really say I saw the "discount" at Discount Tires. The price for a Goodyear tire and service was a few dollars more then Goodyear. However, they were much closer and service was great. They were quick to get the tire I needed in house and had me in and out within an hour at my scheduled appointment.

First off...I have always liked their service(2021-until recently 7/2024). I went to get a tire sensor installed...I ended up paying $90(before taxes) for a sensor and installation...only to leave with the same issue on the same tire...so when I went back another gentleman that works there attempted to assist my issue...but to no luck. I am very disappointed where their service has went too. IJS!.!

I spoke with Mr. Cody Simmons today, as I needed 4 tires stat. The level of service on the call was EXCELLENT. 🤩 Cody was very knowledgeable, courteous, flexible, and attentive. I unfortunately was unable to come in for service at the scheduled time due to multiple conflicts that arose on my end, esp during the middle of my workday & living somewhat far away. But now that I have found this gem, Discount Tire Mooresville is now my tire provider of choice. Whether local or in a surrounding area, if you want some old-school-level service, please give them a try. Thank you!

I've been twice this year and both times employees tried to get me to pay for more than I should have. The first time was back in January. There was a bubble in the side wall on my tire, and I was told I'd have to pay full price for a new one, even though there is manufacturer warranty for defects, which I asked for. The sales associate insisted I didn't have a Discount Tire warranty and that I needed to pay full price. I only got the money back for that warranty when my boyfriend went back in and asked for it. The second time was this this past week. I called the store beforehand to make sure that the tires I wanted were in stock. I was given a quote, and when I got to the store, I was told it was going to be almost $250 more than I was quoted. About half of that was for the Discount Tire warranty that I didn't need, but the sales associate still couldn't match the quote I was told on the phone. I insisted that he get the person I talked to on the phone, Danny, and they sorted it out. After these two experiences, I can't recommend Discount Tire to my friends and family because they either don't train their employees very well or their the business model is dishonest- trying to "bait and switch", or make people pay more money than they need to.

The work was done fairly quickly, on time as was told it would take. The service was a 10/10 experience, for my first time coming to their shop. Tires looked good and their customer service was definitely great, would definitely recommend to anyone who needs tires/installed. The employees were understanding and supper helpful and were honest about everything. Will definitely be going there again when needed.

Today you lost a lifelong customer. I have purchased multiple sets of tires from the Discount Tire location in Mooresville but will never be returning after today. I stopped by to simply have a tire patched or replaced if need be. Tristan decided he wanted to upsell me on two front tires that were marginal st best and just couldn’t let it go. His coworker Danny decided he needed to jump into the conversation instead of minding his own business. I am now at one of your competitors have the tire patched and in 9 to 12 months when I need 4 new tires I will not be returning to you.
