I was told in Laredo that discount tire no longer had a veterans discount. But in San Antonio they do apply it. Overall very satisfied with organization but would like a more positive response from some one about the veterans discount.

This is the place to go if you need tires. The service rep Alejandro was very helpful and guided me through a wide list of tires options and prices. He even made me aware of a 70$ rebate that i could get with my purchase. That’ll come in handy during these tough times. I was in and out in 1 hour even with cars ahead of me. My hats off to the guys who work here. There was alot of positive energy and teamwork going on. Like they say Teamwork makes the Dream work. edit: i came back recently and was treated very well by carlos. he helped me with two bad tires and made sure my warranty protected my purchase. I really recommend this location and would like to thank all the hard workers who helped me out 15 minutes before opening.

I had a really disappointing experience with Discount Tire. I took my car in for tire service, and unfortunately, they completely messed up my tires. Not only did they fail to fix the issue, but they also caused additional damage. I was extremely frustrated, especially since I had trusted them with my vehicle. I decided to give Murrilo's Tire Shop by Shiloh a try after my bad experience. I’m so glad I did! They were incredibly efficient and fixed the problem in just 7 minutes. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and really took care of my car. I highly recommend avoiding Discount Tire, and if you're in the area, definitely head to Murrilo’s for any tire-related issues. They really know what they're doing!

I recently took my vehicle in for a flat tire repair, and I had a frustrating experience. The representative immediately tried to upsell me on new tires. When I declined, he retaliated by saying that if they couldn’t fix the tire, they would only put on the spare. I mentioned I had a warranty on the tires, which seemed to trigger him. He stated that they would leave the spare on, order a new tire, and that I would need to come back once it arrived. He also mentioned it would take over an hour to service my tire. I waited for over an hour and a half without being seen, while I noticed other customers who were upsold were in and out quickly. It felt like I was being punished for not buying additional services. Conclusion: They just patched the tire, which felt like a scam. Do your research before heading to the store, especially during tax season, as they may target more vulnerable customers. Update: I recently called and spoke with Javi. I decided to give them another chance and asked for a quote. He apologized for my previous experience, offered to help find new tires, and provided good customer service with a reasonable deal.

20 min in line no Acknowledgement at all to customers not even hello thank you at all. Customers make the business keep them happy they keep coming back. Long wait lines. Just to check one tier.

Waited for about 20 minutes a guy Jason was on the phone saw me and wasn’t even courteous to say will be with you just walked away and after 20 min came back looks like he doesn’t enjoy his work need better customer service

Terrible service scheduled an appointment for my sick mother to replace all tires my appointment was around 5 days wait then when she shows up they tell her they don’t have the correct size tires but tried to sell her a wider tire she said no thanks they said they’d call her back to reschedule an appointment and never did so what was the wait for an appointment if not to have a proper materials ready ? Did they think she would just be ok buying something different than what was offered at first just cuz she was already there smh never again

Even though they were nice on the phone with me, they won't help me pay for shop work i had to get done for a drastic mistake which could've costed me my life, as well as others on the road. Discount Tires are responsible for work they did that could've killed me. Sept 22nd, I went in for a slow leaking tire. It was actually my rim that was cracked. They changed my rim, but did something wrong. Nov 13th, on my way back from Canada after visiting my family, my tire broke off my truck on I90 in Ohio. With a semi truck passing me, my tire rode on down the interstate about a quarter of a mile. I was lucky to have slowed down and keep control of my pickup truck and get over to the shoulder, but I was scared!!! I was told by a passerby that stopped to help me, saying that I'm lucky my truck didn't bounce and flip! My router and other damages had happened due to dragging. The passerby helped me locate my tire in the bush down the road. The studs on the hub all broke off and wheel came off. I had to get my pickup towed and fixed costing me 2 nights in a hotel close by and repaired of $622 and a shop. I will never go back there to have work done again!! They told me it's been over 30 days and weren't responsible. I've been driving my truck for over 5yrs with no problem until they changed my rim. They ARE responsible and should pay for the shop repairs.

Had a great experience buying new tires. They price matched my tires with costco prices and also gave me a good deal on new set of lug nuts. The work was also done relatively fast considering the amount of customers there.

Normally my experience with discount tire is top notch, but today while working in Laredo I wasted my time sitting there after arriving early for my appointment. Half an hour after my scheduled appointment time I asked for my keys back so I could leave. They asked if I’d like to schedule an appointment and I informed them I already had one for 30 minutes ago. I think I’ll stick to the stores up in central TX lol.
