I believe Discount Tire needs to screen their associates better. Drove down from Livingston to visit grandkids and sensor light came on. Called this Discount Tire (spoke to Mickey) to schedule an appointment for a sensor in our driver rear tire. Told they were not busy just come on over. When I arrived Mickey was unavailable so another associate was available (I believe his name was Tony). Told him what I needed and instead insisted I needed new tires (which I already knew about) and blatantly insisted that they would not replace the sensor otherwise. While I was sitting inside the lobby he went out to our car (while my wife was out walking our dog) went inside our car without permission or being accompanied by an owner and grabbed my keys out of the vehicle. This was very upsetting to me that he would trespass without permission as well as Invasion of Privacy. I confronted him and he would not walk away but got right in my face. Finally another associate had to pull him away to de-escalate the incident. So upon arrival at our grandkids home I urgently and cancelled my wife’s credit cards just in case (since we did not know how long or what he was doing while inside our car). I have been doing business with Discount many years and have never been treated like this before. I simply wanted the sensor replaced so the warning light was go off and finish our trip then go to the Discount Tire here in Livingston for new tires at my convenience. Instead of me taking my time to go complain on another website Lynn why don’t you discuss with the associate that caused this problem!

I had a 3pm appointment, got here at 2:50 and they hadnt even touched my car by 3:45 lts now 4:20 and they're still not done...this is the slowest location and the employee checking me in was rude...

I had a bad experience with this shop. I purchased four tires from them, and I had to make three separate trips for them to fix basic issues. First, they didn’t pay attention and installed the inside of the tire on the outside. Then, I noticed they placed the rear wheels (which are wider) on the front. Not sure if I would go there again.

I have been a customer of Discount Tire for 35 years. Almost always great service. Staff is usually very knowledgeable and informative. This is an extremely busy location,so pack your patience for a long wait.

I was a loyal discount tire customer for over three years. However, about a year ago I had a major car accident and let the general manager of this place know about it, in concern of my car. I asked him if my rims or tires had to get replaced and he assured me I didn’t need to. A month passed by and my front tires kept losing air to the point where they would wake up flat randomly. I came in numerous times to this place and told them of my issues and I switched out my tires a good FIVE times !!! Because of them losing air and every time I told them I felt like it was the rim itself they DENIED me. I insisted and they SWORE they checked the rim and it was the tire , EVERY. SINGLE. FREAKING. TIME. Take in mind I didn’t go to the same discount tire employee at this location, but requested advice from almost every employee here and they told me I was wrong and the rim looked perfect every time they rotated, mounted, or balanced my tires. I spent well over 500$ in tires here thinking they were trustworthy. Yesterday I was tired of my tires losing air and went to a new tire place named “Power Tires & Wheels” near fry rd. They actually checked my rim and offered me a good quote for getting it fixed and were UP FRONT/ HONEST with me and showed me why my tires had been losing air an ENTIRE YEAR!!! I was standing there the entire time while they mounted my car to check the rim and took the wheel off. I will never come back to discount tire after this and look forward to buying my wheels/tires elsewhere.

Good customer POOR craftsmanship. Spent more than 1k on full set of tires. And they didn’t replace the broken valve caps which cost like a dime. Also, one of the tires keeps leaking air.

I made a appointment online for a tire rotation @ 11: 45 pm. I have been waiting for 1 hour and my vehicle has not even gotten yet. This place is definitely under staffed !

I’m a few days late on this but Alex was very helpful and did above and beyond for me and my car needs. He is a stellar employee and deserves all the recognition! It’s one thing to have one great employee but truly every single person that I came in contact with were all very kind and very accommodating. The best Discount tire in Katy, I can say from experience!

Took my car for a rotation/balance on tires purchased from discount. Had a 1:30 pm appointment. Around 3:20 pm, they got to my car. I was standing outside, and noticed they were just rotating, not balancing. Told them. My work order clearly say Balance. Cutting corners and not taking people in queue. Folks that came after me were done before me. They prioritize selling/installing new tires, servicing previous customers is a low priority. My first and last time at this location.

My sales guy was great. (Magnum I believe) Not pushy got right to business. My main complaint was the wait time. Arrived at 330, had a 515 estimated completion. Work didn’t start until 545 as they were only doing one vehicle at a time after 5pm.

Dangerous and lazy. I won't go back to this location. My last visit a few weeks ago, not only did a technician leave a passenger rear LUGNUT OFF, but also left my center wheel cover off on my other rear tire. I do not live in the area, but I will not go back to this location, and I urge you not to either.

Don’t trust their “free” tire patch. They will be very picky on your tire condition and turns into get a new tire for you.

Had an appointment at 4:30 to fix a flat tire, reached at 4:31, they had already marked me as no show. They were more interested in up selling rather than accommodating a customer. On the positive side they got me out as soon as possible ( after 50 min wait )

I had arrived an hour before closing. They were able to accommodate my vehicle if I could wait a little longer than I wanted to. The tire service was completed satisfactory. The customer service was really good. I am impressed, and you can be too. Good job Discount Tire

terrible service had a appointment for 8:15 am for a rebalance and rotation on my car and its 9:30 am and im still looking at my car in the parking lott have been skipped multiple times and kevan has a terrible attitude hung up on me yesterday trying to make a appointment
