One thing you can count of from Discount Tire is that they will over-inflate your tires, and improperly torque your lug nuts. Got new set of tires installed here yesterday, and of course the techs were lightning fast (as usual)....which is probably the root cause of these problems as they're in such a hurry, that they can't be bothered to do the job properly. Every single time I've had new tires installed at Discount Tire, they over-inflate my tires and do a really poor job of torquing the lug nuts...yesterday was no exception. My vehicle's tires are supposed to be inflated to 35psi (front and back). When I checked the pressure after yesterday's tire install, some tires were 41, some 40, others 38 (and yes, I checked them cold). And in case they respond here saying that they inflate to the tire manufacturer specs (that is complete nonsense) as the pressure on the sidewall of tires is the absolute MAX pressure.....and is NOT what vehicle manufacturer's recommend. Then I check the lug nut torquing (supposed to be 76 lb-ft for my vehicle). Some were torqued to over 90 lb-ft, while others were barely 40 lb-ft. Come on Discount Tire....slow down and pay more attention to important details like this. I'm sure most of your customers would never think (nor have the proper tools) to check this. Shame on you.

Even though I know this branch is super busy, I still go there for all my tire needs. Unless it's an emergency, appointments are a must. Don't walk in and expect to be in and out, way too much business. Having said that, these guys are fast, once your vehicle is in, it doesn't take long and they're very helpful. Best prices around too.

Had picked up a nail while over at LaCentera in Cinco Ranch. Young man who changed my tire told me Discount Tires was right down the street. Went there even though they got me in, was able to patch my tire and I was on my way within 45 minutes. The guys who worked there were very cordial and helpful.

I've tried this for 2 weeks now. I've went to discount tire on December 7th and they damaged my wheel. They're dodging the responsibility to take care of my $750 wheel. When I went past week because I didn't hear anything from "Jose" the manager of the site. I went and I spoke with one of the service advisor and I saw he started check my car and take pictures A WEEK AFTER. They not only scratched my wheel. They lost my 76 dollars valve stem caps. THIS SERVICE ADVISOR told me to bought the valve stem caps and he will give me the refund. I ORDER THE CAPS IN FRONT OF HIM and he told he doesn't have cash. That he can give credit for my valve stem caps. It's been two weeks and my wheel is still damaged. They made paid for something i did not have to. And I don't receive a single email regarding my situation. I went to discount tire because I thought they were gonna have care on my 3k wheel set. One kid took care on 3 wheels and he did not did bad at all. The last kid had to pry the tire on to the wheel with a bar he scratched it. Why they don't wanna take responsibility of this. I gave them 2 weeks and I did not wanna to make this review. Please do not come to this discount tire. They're not honest people.

Discount tire always takes care of the tires rotations for free and I’ve taken advantage of that service many times in the past. I recently came in and was just gonna get a tire rotation, but it was just me that my tires be replaced and after showing me, I agreed I was frustrated because I was told to come back at a certain time and I did come back at that time five minutes late because my toddler needed to use the bathroom before we could head there. However I was told that if we got there at 11:15, we’d be out of there by 12, they didn’t even take my car into a stall until 12:10! So normally that wouldn’t have been a big deal, but I had my grouchy toddler who was in need of a nap with me, and I had specifically said I needed to leave by a certain time for his nap. I’ve got new tires and I’m still very happy with discount tires service. :)

我的轮胎扎到螺丝了，接待员甚至不好好检查就说一定要换新的，只因为他看到螺丝顶部比较宽。其实螺杆部分只有普通钉子大小。我恳求他拔出螺丝检查一下，他拒绝了，不停地游说我只能换新的。换新轮胎不是不可以，但是你总要检查一下吧，这样自以为是的服务我以后都不想再遇到了。

Bought 4 new tires from this store a few weeks ago, got a nail on my rear tire on a Sunday, Discount tire close on Sunday, I figure I plug the tire temporarily so I can drive while set an apt to patch it. Got to store, and employee said because I've plug the tire, that I will have to replace a brand new tire. They will not patch my brand new tire that I've purchased a few weeks ago due to I used a plug. They couldn't just take the plug out and patch my brand new tire, the nail is not on the outer sidewall, it's in the middle of the tire where patching is possible, but they insist I have to replace new tire. What a GREEDY, unethical shop. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! Please be warned⚠️

Had two tires replaced on brand new vehicle due to vandalism. All tire sensors worked. After replacing tire, they told me I would have to drive it to get the sensors to work again. Didn't work..took back and they told me sensors are now bad and wanted to charge $65 per sensor...he'll no. Do not recommend this location

This is the first time I go there. I had a tire that was losing pressure slowly and they were able to find not one, but two nails. Didn’t have a long wait. They managed to remove the trickier one of the two without damaging the tire and the manager didn't charge me a dime for the entire service! Great people, great service. Would definitely go there again.

Very unprofessional. This may be the second time I go here to get air for my tires. I wait and wait and wait… no one helps me after being looked at by two workers who had no intension of helping me. They just saw me waiting at the sign where I get air and no one even bothers to ask me if I need help. This is the closest location to me and I absolutely dislike it. Where I came from, workers notice and help right away, that’s customer service. Unfortunately this cinco ranch location doesn’t have it.

I had an appointment. My vehicle was not taken back until over an hour past my appointment time. They under inflated all tires & my low tire light was on. They also lost a screw from my cap on my wheel. The washer & nut was inside the cap rattling like rocks were in there. Now, I'm missing the screw. Unhappy is a mild word. Why didn't I return? Because I had to leave town on business. Still very upset about it.

This is a busy place. Make an appointment and add 30 minutes to their time estimate they tell you. 9-21-2024 Cinco Ranch store - I bought my tires online and made an appointment. Was in and out in 30 minutes for 2 tires. Cinco Ranch store is well managed and a well oiled machine.

If the establishment successfully performs its core functions, such as selling tires and addressing flat tire issues, I would typically rate it at 3 stars. Going above and beyond, particularly in assisting customers to choose suitable tires and offering cost-saving options, would warrant additional stars in my evaluation. However, my experience at this particular store leads me to deduct stars, settling at a 1-star rating. The primary reason for this rating is the perceived need for improvement in their system. My initial concern arose when I was informed that I had not properly maintained my tires according to their recommendations, rendering all certificates and mileage warranties void. Fortunately, I had retained all receipts to demonstrate my adherence to maintenance guidelines. Furthermore, I find it disconcerting that the staff did not thoroughly examine the tire history before suggesting the immediate need for new tires. In my case, a tire with a 65,000-mile warranty only endured 18 months of use and had a remaining tread depth of 2/32. Shouldn't this trigger a consideration for a treadwear warranty claim rather than a straightforward recommendation to purchase new tires? This approach feels more like an attempt to sell rather than genuinely assisting the customer. Here's an update following my initial review. I visited to check my tire pressure because the TPM light was on. The staff did a good job and provided information about the tread depth. However, I had a missing lug nut, which I believe should have been obvious to any tire professional. Despite this, not a single word was mentioned about it. This experience reinforces the impression that this business is primarily focused on sales and profit—customer care seems to end once you’ve signed and paid. In conclusion, I believe it is essential for consumers to safeguard their finances by familiarizing themselves with warranty terms and acquiring basic maintenance knowledge. Regrettably, my experience with Discount Tire has led me to perceive it as just another ordinary tire place.

Booked in online for a tyre pressure check but not sure you need to. I was met by a gentleman who advised me to pull up in front and they would be checked. Tyres were checked, air added with little waiting time and a full report of pressure and thread of tyre was texted to me.

Unprofessional. I arrived in a truck that had just had a camber bolt break while driving down the frontage road. Luckily I wasn’t on the highway going faster because it allowed the upper A arm to fall out and my wheel was hanging off. The weight of this accident, caused some of the suspension to be bent. even after I visited an auto parts store and returned to put a new Camber bolt on on the side of the road The wheel still looked tilted. I bought all new suspension from rock auto online and was looking for some new tires so I could have it all fixed and repaired. I stopped in here to ask if they had any tires in 305 / 70/16 as it’s a pretty wide tire for such a small rim. When I pulled into the parking lot as I walked inside most of the mechanical workers were pointing and laughing at my truck’s inverted camber / messed up wheel alignment. The customer line was almost out the door and all the seats were full inside the lobby. They had an hour and a half wait. Plus about a 40 minute wait in line to even get checked in. maybe if the mechanics in the back were more focused on what they’re doing instead of making fun of customers vehicles they wouldn’t be in the weeds. I went out there and confronted one of them to let them know what exactly happened to and asked if they had any 305 16 inch tires in stock. He said he didn’t know and you’d have to ask the guys inside. instead, I left and went to their website. Their tires are not discounted. Most of them were $350 or more per tire when I can get them at other websites for $180+. I won’t be shopping here & will most likely will go to Firestone because discount tire probably doesn’t even do suspension work anyway. And even if they did, who knows when you would get it back. Also they don’t have lifetime tire alignments like Firestone does.

Don’t bother with an appointment. Arrived for set time and was told a 2 hour wait. Employee stated they take appointments every 15 minutes and they are not able to keep up. Then asked if I’d like to reschedule for later same day that they were still taking reservations? Been going here for years but it’s been getting worse each time I go.

I've gone to this Discount Tire for the last 10 years since and they have always been professional and kind and explained everything from what is wrong to what the price will be. The reason I write this review today is we just had a hurricane come through two days ago and today they were open with no computers but still helping the public. I came in needing air in my tires, they found a nail in my tire and repaired it at no cost. It is quick and efficient and overall just kind and helpful. So glad to have them in our neighborhood!

Very impressive! I ordered my tires ahead of time online and they were there when I arrived and ready to go. They were Very organized and were expecting me. Fast service with polite attitudes. Highly recommend.
