Discount Tire is legit awesome for free services! They'll patch your flat tires at no cost, even if you didn't buy tires from them. During that crazy winter, they were open when most places were closed, which was super clutch. Awesome Free Services: Free tire inflation Free flat tire repairs Free tire rotations Free tire pressure checks What I love most? They're super chill about helping out. One Reddit user shared how they patched a tire for free during a road trip, and another mentioned they'll help you out even if you're not a customer. Pro tip: Stop by during winter when you're low on air - they've got your back. Seriously, these guys are tire heroes without the cape. Definitely my go-to spot for tire stuff.

Huge shoutout to Billy. Brought my car in after one of my tires kept slowly losing pressure, assuming a recent repair done at another discount location was done incorrectly. Billy quickly noticed a small bubble in my sidewall that had been missed by the previous tech, which could have resulted in a blowout had it continued to go unnoticed. He went above and beyond in helping me source a new tire same day and get everything sorted out. Great service and great location

I've always had good experiences at discount locations in the past and this one was no different. I had a very slow leak and they spent an inordinate amount of time evaluating and testing to find exactly where the leak was coming from and get it fixed. Then in the end, didn't even charge me. Everyone was extremely friendly too. My only complaint about this company has always been that they don't open on Sundays but I get why they don't because the owner doesn't want any location to be open on a religious day so I respect that.

I gotta say this location went out their way for me, for the first time I feel so great-full. Going through the toughest struggle with my car and tires this sales rep Billy went above any location I have ever visited. I always thought they just wanted my money. But he helped my thoughts.

EDIT: I'm moving it up to 3 starts because after some nagging they were able to get everything corrected and refunded me for the inconvenience. While I super appreciate that, it was still quite the fiasco. This is in regards to the 13494 Northwest Freeway location. DO NOT GO HERE. I’m 99% sure they did NOT order my wheel when they said they did because after one week I had to call and follow up then they said they didn’t know where it was and they were going to put in a a new order and have it overnighted. Meanwhile, I can’t drive my car and I’m paying out of pocket for a rental. Finally got it the next week and it was the wrong wheel 😑 they handed me my keys ready to send me on my way then I had to go back in and ask why the hell my wheel didn’t match the others. I’m supposed to get a call back from someone but I don’t think I ever will. So here I am… 1 wheel different than the rest. Worst service I could imagine.

I really don't leave bad reviews on discount tire but tonight was needed. I have been here for my tires installation in the past and had no issues but tonight I went to get a simple installation on my Elantra and when I got my car back the tire caps were missing so I headed back to find them and one young guy had the nerves to tell me how many Hyundai caps I had on my car. I had three original caps and know that one was lost a while ago. Anyways it's the way it was done. As I drove away from the store, I noticed that my left rear tire was overinflated to 51 psi (reading from the dashboard which I took a picture just in case it blew up on my way back)knowing the tire capacity can't even get that high. So thankfully I wasn't too far from the store but anything could have happened. My tire could have blown up and caused severe damage to the body of the car and even worse crashed into someone or a car causing more damage. I got there and showed the guy who puts air in the tires to deflate my tire after I showed him how much it was on my dashboard. When he hooked it up to the machine, it showed 59 psi, let me repeat 59 psi. He was shocked, so was I. Shocked and upset. Thank God nothing happened. I told him to call the manager who came and explained to him that they need to pay attention because it could have been a lot worse. He apologized and said it was human error. Bruh human error, I get it but this right here could have caused me thousands if I had crashed into another car or even worse a pedestrian. I'll say this to anyone who gets service here on a Friday or any given day, to make sure to check the psi levels before leaving. Overall it didn't take long for them to install the tires but honestly shit could have been more than what I paid for my tires. Let's see what happens next. I only gave 3 stars because of the guy who put my tires on layaway and the guy who checked me in. If you are hiring young kids please teach them to pay attention before they cause more "human errors" that will cost you a shit ton more than a simple apology. Thank you

Bought 4 new tires and wheels. Installed in under an hour. One wheel was missing the center cap. Garrett went over the top to track 1 down and get it shipped in. Great job!

Bought a brand-new tire yesterday, and just three hours later, it went flat, leaving me stranded. To make matters worse, they didn't even put the spare back under the truck—they just tossed it in the back. Appreciate the service, guys…wow.

Came in October 4th to have my tire check for low tire pressure, then found out it had a nail that they couldn’t repair. So they put in order for and told me that the tire should be here October 9th from coming GA. So a whole week pass by and got no call. Give it some extra days before calling on October 17th, they said they’re going to check their inventory physically for the tire that now is coming out of CA. They said they’re going to call me back after they finish checking their inventory, they never called me back. I go in person October 18th 13494 Northwest Fwy, they now the tire is on their way from Indiana…. And should be getting there tomorrow and they’re going to call me when it arrives, which I doubt they will. Horrible experience at this Discount Tire located at 13494 Northwest Fwy.

My experience there has raised significant concerns regarding the competency and professionalism of the staff, and I believe it could damage the otherwise strong reputation of your company. I visited this location due to severe shaking while driving, specifically suspecting an issue with the front passenger tire. I even mentioned that the foam inside the tire might be loose, as this was clearly not a normal issue. Despite providing clear information, the staff ignored my input and instead applied excessive weights to balance the tire without addressing the root cause. The shaking persisted, and they continued to blame uneven tire wear for the problem, dismissing my concerns entirely. The technician even made a derogatory remark, stating that my rear tires were “trash,” which I found highly disrespectful and unprofessional. Frustrated, I sought help at another Discount Tire location. At 21825 Katy Freeway, the team listened to me carefully and discovered the actual issue with the loose foam in the tire—precisely what I had suggested all along. The contrast in service between the two stores is alarming. Had I continued to rely on the team at the Northwest Freeway location, I would have faced potential suspension and steering issues, compromising my safety due to their negligence and lack of expertise. This kind of service is unacceptable and poses a risk not only to customers but also to the company’s image. I strongly recommend that upper management investigate this location and consider replacing the staff to avoid further damage. Conversely, I must commend the professionalism of Ryan Griffith, the manager at the Katy Freeway location. His dedication to customer service and attention to detail saved me from further complications, and I believe he is deserving of recognition, if not a raise. Please take this feedback seriously, as the quality of service at the Northwest Freeway location is tarnishing the reputation of an otherwise reputable company.

Let me just say if you are on a schedule don’t even try. Not even with an appointment. I made my appointment for 2:45 pm I walked in early checked in explained what I needed (flat rear tire fixed under warranty). Once the employee checked the car he said my front tires were “cooked” which I figured I had been putting it off. I opted to purchase 2 new front tires. $640 and he told me it would be ready at 335. I walked out at 4:50. 4:50!!! Never have I had to wait for two hours for my tires to be changed. People with later appointments and walk ins were in and out and my vehicle had not even been started yet. They started working on my car around 4 pm. I left very irritated not to mention my two kids did as well.

Never experienced such poor customer service. My car was towed and dropped off at 9:15 a.m. Billy told me the tire I needed was on the truck that arrived, and it would be 45 minutes to unload the truck and service my car. Billy also told me he would call me with a follow-up. I called back at 11:30a. Billy said he would see where my car was with bring serviced, and he would call back. I called back at 12:21 I asked for the manager, he apologized, and said Billy went to lunch and my car would be ready in 20min. I got my car around 1p and this was unacceptable.

Initially, I was going to blast this location for letting me sit in the air check line 20 minutes watching 6 employees ignore me with 2 cars. Second car left and all 6 intentionally ignored me. I have video, I was so dumb founded!!! But then Cody appeared and was so genuinely kind. He made small talk filled my tire and offered to check it further since he didn't see anything in it. Super nice guy! His customer service offset the other 6.
