Had to go in recently for a flat. Was in an area where it would have been possible to patch and try. That was the most economical choice, but they refused to do it. Then they tried to apply massive pressure and upsell when the rest of the tires still have half of their life left. I chose to buy their cheapest tire to replace so I didn't have to rely on a donut tire and it still be an immediate problem, and could use as a full spare moving forward. I just wanted time to figure out what I wanted to do given the other tires condition. I was treated like I was making a stupid decision. This isn't the same business I remember when they first opened. They want to tell you what to do versus you deciding. It's a sad state of affairs when I have better time dealing with the dealership on tires than a place that specializes in them.

This chain seems to have the customer service thing down pat!!! I've been to a store in Ft Collins, CO and now this one in Duluth. Such friendly, competent people. The other day, I pulled up and someone was headed out to greet me at my car. I got my tires topped off with air and was on my way. Chas was very helpful. I can't say enough about this place! Conduct business with them. They are wonderful!

Damion went above and beyond for me! I was in Duluth for the weekend for a visit back to UMD where I went to school a number of years back and ended up having a blowout. Damion helped me immediately when I came into the store and worked with my ESC provider to get my tire fixed. I appreciate the time he took because I hadn't dealt with my ESC up until this point so there were extra steps to do which he was incredibly kind and patient with. I ended up having to spend the afternoon at the store which was unfortunate but not unexpected for being a walk in on a Friday afternoon in late December. Please make sure Damion gets kudos for his work! He truly went above and beyond to get me taken care of and have my tire replaced with one that was comparable to what I had previously. Thank you!

DO NOT RECOMMEND during our 4 Hour Dr. to Duluth, we picked up a nail in one of our tires. We called this place in advance and they said they would take care of it. We arrived and the gentleman said that he would plug and patch the tire with no problems. He also talked me into doing a tire rotation and also guaranteed me that he would switch around the sensors at the same time. 45 minutes later, I received a text stating my vehicle was completed. After rotating the tires I was unsure which tire was the damaged ones so I wasn’t able to check to see if they completed it correctly. I woke up this morning with 12 pounds of air In that tire, which was switched to a different place on my vehicle. They never removed the nail and To fix the issue. On top of that, they rotated the tires and never switched the sensors because my vehicle told me that my tire was still low but in the wrong position. It is now Sunday and I can’t seem to find anyone open to help us fix this problem. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Discount tire staff are very well trained. They are right there to help the minute you walk through the door. The always have a very good attitude, friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable!! I recommend giving them a try and guarantee you will return because of their customer service practices!!

I am so impressed with this place. I’ve been going here for years as a silly girl who knows nothing about tires, and have been pointed in the right and honest direction time and time again. But this past week really solidified how much these guys care. I ordered a set of wheels/tires online, and didn’t see them in person until they had already been put on my car. Maybe it’s just me over-analyzing it and being too picky, but once I picked my car up, I was SO bummed with my wheel choice. This was the first time in my life I decided to treat myself to something like this, and I picked the wrong ones. So, with very little hope, I called them the minute I got home and hit em with the “hey, so this isn’t your fault, but I don’t like them. Do I have any options other than just suck it up?”, and they were ready to help me find a new set to swap over immediately. I chatted with Damien (sorry if my spelling is off) and he was patient, understanding and kind, which was honestly something i didn’t really expect when calling a place that’s been slammed busy for the past month to basically ask to fix a problem i created. They have such a helpful and wonderful crew, they have crazy fast service and apparently the ability to help solve problems that they didn't even create. I am so so so impressed. These guys have my business for life.

Not your ordinary tire store, I have tried Duluth Tire, Firestone and Tirerack.com in the past, and I have never received the value and customer service that I constantly get from Discount tire on Central Entrance. Damien has always been a go to guy for taking care of things without a lot of back and fourth, just takes control once he understands the result wanted and when I return, or wait there, it is done on time and at a great price. Just got new wheels as my old ones were too corroded to hold air, they look fantastic and a better price than online by far! You can depend on these guys!

They actually escorted me across a snowy parking lot when I arrived. I had hardly settled into the waiting room and my 4 new tires were installed. I was amazed. I've had oil changes that took longer! Very calm, professional atmosphere.

In addition to the great prices on tires, I received first class customer service here. The Discount Tire folks genuinely care about their customers and go out of their way to ensure you have a good experience. Plus, despite the store being very busy when I was there, they replaced all four of my tires in less than 30 minutes. I've never received such excellent all-around customer service at any store, of any kind, ever. Thank you for being such a great company!

I’ve had nothing but good experiences at Discount Tire. I’ve had several sets of tires from them (both all season and winters) & have always had a good experience. I had a screw in my tire a couple weeks ago and they were PACKED when I stopped in. They were able to fix the tire that day for me thankfully. I am here again now getting my snow tires on. Everyone I have dealt with has been thorough, kind and attentive. I will note that it is really hard to get a hold of anyone at the store if you call but as I sit here, every phone line is in use by an employee so it’s because they are that busy. Booking online is your friend. :)

Mitchell was amazing! They work past closing time, to finish every job. 4 new rims with new run flats and protection package, for less than $2K. I have been buying my tires from Firestone for over 10 years. Today I switched to Discount Tire and I will never go back.

The folks who work here are absolute saints. They stay calm, polite and respectful even when their clientele is the opposite. Made an appointment ahead of time on a day that turned out to be incredibly busy. They treated everyone who talked in the door respectfully and kept their cool under pressure. Thank you!!!

We pulled up to Discount Tire with 2 tires leaking, an hour away from home. They got us in immediately and patched both tires quickly, no charge. Staff was nice and professional. They have earned our business for the future!!

Needed tires right away for family from out of town. Was able to order over the phone and have them installed the next day. Staff meet customers at the door upon arrival. Tires installed in about one hour. No pressure sales tactics. Great experience!

What a great business and what amazing staff they have working for them. We just had to get all our tires on the rv replaced and they did it in record time. Really pleasant to speak to. Totally recommend
