This shop is run by people with real integrity! I got two new tires here in October. The process was quick and easy, and I was even able to defer payments using Affirm. That experience in itself was wonderful enough to leave five stars. However, their customer service and commitment to quality goes even further. I went to an absolutely terrible Midas in Carrolton for a tire rotation today and they broke two lug nuts on my left rear tire and then refused to take accountability or pay to fix their mistake. Instead, they shifted the blame on "whoever did the last tire rotation" which was absolute malarkey and insisted that I pay out of my own pocket for the two damaged lug nuts and a new stud. I was in tears at this point and while I figured there was nothing that could be done, I took a leap of faith and called this shop to explain the situation to them. One of the managers, Steve, answered the phone and was so calm and reassuring. While his records did not indicate whether or not a tire rotation was performed at the point of purchase, he told me if I brought my car up there, he would give me a form to take to the local Brakes Plus and they would fix my stud at their own expense. Wow! That is what I call customer service. There are still good humans out there, y'all. Today went from a bad day to a good one with the help of Steve and Chase. I will be coming back in a few months to replace my other two tires and they've gained a new customer in my husband as well. Thank you so much for showing that Discount Tire is a company that cares about people. You really cannot say that for very many businesses nowadays. You have a lifetime customer in me.

I had a great experience at Discount Tire! Not only with the very impressive speed but the young man on the counter Gavin, he was extremely helpful and very open and honest about what was going on with my car. He had no problem explaining the issues to me in a way I could understand! When they were working on my car he made sure to keep me up to date on my vehicle EVEN giving me a water later on. As Gavin was explaining the different tire brands which he explained VERY well but even with the warranties he helped me understand. Even though I bought 4 new tires and a set of lug nuts I feel that he was very open and honest, he even went out of the way to show me my old lug nuts to give me a even closer look at how bad they were . I see Gavin having a VERY far future at this store and would even recommend a visit to this one on 288 because of him. never in my years of using shops have I met an employee so mature and respectable! 11/10 would recommend THANK YOU GAVIN!

Logan was very nice and helpful in my tire buying experience. He brought a nice energetic atmosphere that you love to see. He was very honest and I truly believe he was trying to recommend the best tires for me. Logan was very up front about all the costs. he told me about the different warranties that discount tire provides, all of which were very helpful. Logan talked to me about the free services that discount tire also offers, including patching flats, rotations, and checking air at any time! He took the time to inspect all my tires, lug nuts, wiper blades all for free! I ended up buying 2 tires and a set of wiper blades. The employees all seemed very happy and got my car in and out in amazing time even though they were busy. They later informed me of a problem with my car's alignment. Which Logan explained to me all that I should do. They told me to go to Brakes Plus and they will help me out. Which I did and they were also very friendly. I am so thankful that logan took the time to look at my car's condition or I would have burned through even more tires! Everyone was very nice and attentive all welcoming me and opening doors and such. I will definitely return to discount tire and especially this location. I cannot recommend Logan enough!

I went in on a super busy night right after new years and they told me there were nine people ahead of me. I had a nail in my tire and it needed a repair if not a replacement. I anxiously waited and hoped they could get me in since it was already 30 minutes till closing. But sure enough they got my car in and they were all so kind and in such great spirits. Shout out to them and so glad I had the warranty or whatever and didn’t even have to pay for the repair. So glad I went there since I had to have my car the next day for work.

My wife has a nail in her tire. The guy at the store told her he didn’t really wanna take it out if it’s not losing air and she proceeded to tell him that we’re taking a trip out of town so don’t want anything to happen but still refused to address the issue so she just left. I guess they want us having issues going down the highway or getting stranded

I recently made an appointment to fix a flat tire on my Audi Q7 after a couple of days adding air repeatedly. I was a bit early, but they were able to assist me immediately and Cody requested my keys so that he could go look at the bad tire. What I thought may have been a quick fix was not. After entering my vehicle, it seems he was a bit confused as my windshield wipers were turned on and he may have had an issue getting them to turn off. This alarmed me... but I hung in there. After he finally turned them off, he went around each tire with a little gadget and then came back in to inform me that they will not be able to fix the tire due to inside shoulder tread depth. He said the rest of the tire was at 3/32 and my inside shoulder was 2/32 and the National Highway Safety Administration laws will not allow him to service the tire as it is illegal. I was so upset... and told Cody that I will have to talk to my husband because he is very picky about tires on our vehicles and began to panic. Was I even going to make it home???? The tread seemed really bad (according to Cody) and if he could not repair it, was I going to have a blow out? Panic set in and as I made my way home, I called my husband at work, crying about what can I do? If it is law, then I cannot get it repaired anywhere! I could barely drive at this point because I was crying thinking I was going to have a blow out! Would I even make it home? My husband had to leave work and come home to figure out what to do. My husband is a multi-unit manager for the automotive industry and unfortunately for these individuals... my tread depth was 6/32 all across!!!! I don't know if they are just dishonest, lazy or both, but I do know one thing, they were WRONG. There are NO LAWS that prohibit a company from repairing a tire and first and foremost... their tread depth on my tires was WRONG. Cody and Discount Tire sent me on my way with a compromised tire that they refused to fix and possibly putting myself and the lives of others at risk... only because they wanted to make a sale.

I made appointment so I can be in and out quick but when I got here I still had to wait 20 minutes before they got it in just hoping I was going to be in and out but was not still had to wait the regular wait time anyways unacceptable to me

If you're a woman, make sure to bring a man with you. My dad purchased 4 new tires for me during the Black Friday sale, and accidentally ordered the wrong size (16" instead of 17") so they re-ordered the correct size and said at the next appointment they'd only charge me the difference for the increase in tire size (about $70). A week goes by, I get there for the appointment when the right tires come in, and they try to charge me the full ~$680 dollars. Only after I correct them that NO, I only owe ~$70, do they charge me the right amount. Next, as they're servicing my vehicle their salesperson comes up to me and tries to sell me a new wheel for $90 because I'm keeping one of the old tires as a spare, and new wiper blades for $14 saying my wiper blades are in horrible shape and cracked and streaking the windshield. I just replaced the wipers a few months ago, and they worked perfectly on the way here. These are the blades they claimed were "in horrible shape." (Pictures attached) As for the wheel, I tell them I don't need a new wheel because I don't want a full spare tire and wheel, just the spare tire. "I can just swap out the tires if it blows out or goes flat." Only after I say this do they claim one of my current wheels has damage and "one side is going flat and will be unbalanced while I'm driving." And they urge me to replace it... Why only mention that now? Because they're only trying to change my mind and get that sale, and get more money out of me. Stop taking advantage of women in the vehicle industry. Some of us actually know what we're talking about. This is why I don't trust automotive salespeople. Don't let them sell you things without them showing you what the problem is. If they can't show proof of the 'problem,' don't give them your money. Shame on all of you. I won't be back.

Never had any issues. They sell you only what you need and providecexcellent customer care. I really appreciate their service of checking tire pressure anytime you ask. It fast and free, even if you never bought tires from them.

Went in with nail in tire told me I needed completely new one I said that's fine I figured tha was the case so I ask for the cheapest newest he said 66 dollars but it's not gonna last you that long it's not gonna be good I said that's all I can afford I don't care I don't have that much money then he told me I needed 2 back tires which ended up being a lie(read on) he told me 200 for both I said no I only have enough for one why do yall Make your workers pressure people? I told him no that's fine I'll just go to afford it tire walked right out their doing it for $85 total out the door and they let me know the other tire still had good tread has at least a couple more months in it. Why do yall have your workers pressure people into buying sht they don't need my money went to afford it cause their actually honest get to you 3x quicker too

Bought 2 rims and 3 tires for a trailer, told Christopher the rims were 5 inch holes on 5. Brought 1 rim with me. Got everything back to the trailer that was 25 minutes away. The rims that I bought didn't fit. Had to call and get them to fix the situation. After I returned, they were very apologetic, and they fixed the situation. I always bought tires for my vehicles at Discount Tire. Might decide to give someone else a shot next time.

Go to another location. Waited over an hour and a half was continuously bumped down for appointments and would be bumped down for more as they came in. I called another location they said a walk in shouldn’t continue to be knocked out of que for a repair. The employees were slow moving as is and the one who finally assisted me kept answering the phone before helping customers sign in.

I have been a customer of this particular store for 17 years. I will continue to use this location. I have some rim issues that were not initially diagnosed with I purchased new tires a few weeks ago. However, when I returned to the store, Sharne (the store manager) and his team did everything to make it right. I appreciate what Shane his team did to take care of the customer, and for the discount tire organization for creating a culture of excellent customer service.

I visited the Discount Tire location on Loop 288 in Denton to get a tire patched that had a nail in it. After two hours they told me my vehicle was done. I drove away and quickly realized the tire had not been patched. Returned to the store and the work order only said to rotate the tires not to patch one. They pulled my truck in and then told me that they were unable to patch the tire because it was too close to another patch and I needed to buy a new tire. I told them the tires were pretty new and had never been patched and they said there was a previous patch. I told them to put the wheel back on and I would go somewhere else and they said for liability reasons they couldn’t put the wheel back on so they put the spare on. I went to another tire shop that was able to repair the tire and also showed me that there were in fact no other patches or damage to the tire. This location blatantly lied to try and make a sale. Beware of Discount Tire!

Update: came to leave a review and realized I already had! They’re a great location with an incredible staff. Excellent pricing on new wiper blades, etc., and super quick with rotations and tire fills. Big fan of this Discount Tire location. I needed all four tires replaced and they gave me a quote that worked for my budget and would last me a long time. Their services are great!

I called up there to make sure they had my tires in stock, and I also asked if I had to schedule an appointment or just come in. They said I could just come in any time. I then come in on my break to get my tires changed just so they can tell me it won't be done for several hours. Is other people's time a joke to you? Do you think I'm going to want to come back after that? Ridiculous.

Went to get my tires rotated without an appointment and they were able to get me in and out in about 1 hour on a Monday morning, but they also snapped off one of my wheel studs in the process. They paid to have it fixed at a shop down the street, which only took 1 additional hour (thankfully), but they declined to comp the wipers they had upsold me on for the inconvenience when I came back afterwards to inquire about it. All in all, decent service and friendly staff, but getting the wipers comped for the inconvenience of having to go to another shop for their mistake would have been nice.
