Josh was GREAT. We stopped in due to needing new tires, he didn’t have them but talked to Mercedes for us to ensure we were getting the right ones. Great customer service and super clean facility.

Can’t complain about the service here —- there was no service. Walked in … stood by front desk for 9 minutes… employees in and out. Making calls, hanging up making other calls …. Nothing. So I walked out. Just reporting what happened. Oh yeah, I had called prior to going …. and they said come on right now, we’re good.

Their prices are fair and the service is good. They actually make good on their road hazard insurance for their tires too. There's so much construction going on around town I've had to use it multiple times. One time I put an 8" bolt (it was hiding in a puddle) through the tread and sidewall on a tire I bought a few months prior. They replaced the whole thing without a complaint. The employees seem to be under some new management directive to try to sell more services than I wanted but they did take no for an answer. So it's ok.

Exceeded my expectations. I was greeted upon my arrival at the door, my car was immediately checked in and the alignment checked promptly. The vehicle alignment issues were described to me and the alignment was promptly performed. I was very impressed with the professional and courteous staff.

This place is so slow. I.had an appointment at 5p. It now 6:05 and my car is still not in the shop. It’s five worker in the shop but there appears to be very little work going on.

I really don't like having to spend money on my "local" car. I have the Sprinter van and that goes to the dealer because it's still under warranty. My mini-wagon is not and so it goes to other mechanics as needed. The tires are starting to look a little worn so I brought the car back to Discount Tire as I had purchased the current set from them. A fantastic service advisor helped me feel completely comfortable with the spend today, recommending three tiers of tires, showing me the choices and generally being fabulous. I spent the two hours watching the service bay over the top of my laptop where I sent some emails, wonte some Yelp reviews and generally chilled out. The waiting area is comfortable and the wifi worked well. My car took as long as it took, but the tech didn't dawdle and did everything right. I'm pleased with the service and will definitely bring my car back here for tire work.

The reason why ì will never purchase tires from discount tires. Upon delivering a tire to this shop, i was the only one in thè parking lot. Josh was so lazy that he didn't want to pick the tire up and assist me with getting their tire into the store. No problem i didn't mind doing any of that. The part that got me was Josh turning to a lady to just get air when all he had to do was sign for the tire. After making me wait for sometime, he comes into the store and then asks me what did I want. I told him all I needed was a signature. He tells me he's sorry and I say no your not. He really did not want to help me. Why?, my guess is he's lazy or he does not like black people. He even asked me what company I was with and told me he would get back to me. The other aggravating part is the manager asks what happened and when I tell him, he then tells me it didn't happen. I ask him to run the cameras back because it did. The manager proceeds to tell me it was not intentional. I could have blown my stack at this point of the unprofessional service I received and even the manager so willing to defend a lie. The manager showed no integrity and no accountability for this guys actions. How do you call wrong, right as if black people don't matter? Why would anyone spend their money to receive such treatment 🙄 😒 😕. It will never be me.

Yesterday, the team at Discount Tire on South Boulevard was able to solve a tire problem I’ve had for almost a year due to another tire shop. Derrick and Jake were able to work through the manufacturer and Tire Rack to get me a new set of tires for no charge! I waited in their super clean showroom for over an hour while the work was done. The glass wall is awesome because you can watch their team hustling and working super hard on your vehicle. Jonathan and Hunter were also very helpful in explaining problems to me and other customers. I will go directly back to their shop for my next set of tires! Thank you all for your solutions!! 12/23/24 - Bought more tires today. Derrick and his team always provide excellent service and great solutions!

Do yourself a favor and go to a different location. We’ve been taking fleet trucks to Discount stores for decades and this is my far the worst experience I’ve had. Pre-purchased tires online and made an appointment to get them put on and get an alignment. Three hours past my appointment I finally had tires and had to leave before they could get to the alignment. Scratched all four of my wheels, forgot to put on three out of four valve caps and left them exposed. No apology from anyone inside.

First I purchased a set of 4 tires and they put the wrong tires on my car which cost less than what I had purchased. I came back for a nail replacement and David notice their mistake and replaced the tires for the correct ones. I got another nail in my tire and paid to get it replaced and I noticed later the same nail was in my tire and it wasn't replaced!! Please check behind these people at this location. David is a great and honest man but I told him I will never visit this location again! BEWARE!!

I visited Discount Tire a month ago to get all four of my tires replaced, which cost me $1,200. Unfortunately, one of the tires got a nail in it today.... I went back to the store and was assisted by Josh. Let me just say, Josh is the definition of exceptional customer service! Since I had purchased hazard insurance, he quickly took care of the situation. Knowing I had a flight to catch, he went above and beyond to replace the tire as fast as possible. His professionalism, efficiency, and willingness to help were outstanding. It’s rare to see such dedication these days, and I genuinely think Josh deserves to be recognized as "Employee of the Year." This was by far the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Discount Tire has earned a loyal customer, thanks to people like Josh! Highly recommend this place!

Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had a tire shop. They told me my tires were ready then they told me they sold one of the tires and I had to wait a few hours before getting them out on. Once I arrived they quoted me a time out the door of 12:45. I arrived at 11:45 like they told me to. They did not touch my car until 2pm and I did not leave until 2:30. If I could have went somewhere else I would have. They ruined my entire day and wasted my time. I will never go back.

Needed new tires so went to my fav shop in Charlotte. These guys came out to greet me, with big smiles, in the frigid temps, then proceeded to show me the "best" choices for my car. One was very favorably rated by previous customers so the next day I went back, and David (Asst Mngr) helped finalized my purchase. Thank you gentlemen, I so appreciate all of you!

Amazing service from customer service and installers. So far I've had 2 free patches on my Tesla. Today I went in with my car on a tow truck, and they put on 2 new tires 30 mins to close on a Sat. Saved me from taking a day off work Monday!

We are here in Charlotte fleeing hurricane Helene. I'm largely pregnant and due in 3 weeks. We got a flat tire and I have a warranty on the tire through discount from the last time I got my tires replaced, this location refuse to honor the warranty, the asheville location I usually go to would have honored in a heartbeat. Furthermore they then offered us 10 dollars off the tire we need replaced. When my boyfriend asked what the total would then be, we were told 90. When he went to pay that they changed it twice. First to 115, when asked why it jumped the manager said, what you don't want the warranty? ( the same warranty they refuse to honor now, no different) then when we obviously declined the new total was some how 101, 11 dollars more than the initial 90 we were told for a tire that's only 50 bucks? If I could give 0 stars I would. This was every last dollar we had for food and gas and they were so rude and cold and uncaring. This is deplorable. I cannot believe that this is how they run their store. Edit: the store manager, or perhaps he was the store owner? Reached out to me a couple days ago and was very apologetic, I feel this man went above and beyond to right the situation and extend compassion all of his own accord. I appreciate him very much. Thank you for doing right by us. We needed that moment of humanity

*BEWARE* David denied to repair my tires, tried forcing me to buy new tire’s told him i had a spare, still was trying to sell me a tire, drove 3.5 miles to another discount tire and they fixed it perfectly fine, pleas stay away from an establishment as crooked as this, and David if you are reading this how dare you try to sell me wiper blades before even attempting to look at the tire i told you had a nail in? One of my favorite companies to do business with... two weeks ago, got 4 new tires. One of the tires got a bubble in the side wall and they replaced it for free today. Two weeks before that, my daughter ran over a nail... they patched it at no charge and we did not get her tires from here. We definitely will when it comes time to replace them.
