I only had my truck smogged and I had been through a lot to get it to pass. They were getting ready to close as I was the last appointment of the day. This positive experience review is for the time after. They didn’t rush me out, in fact quite the opposite. He listened to my story and shared his experiences and knowledge. By the time I left, the first thing that honestly came to mind is that I would have no worries whatsoever letting my wife take one of our cars there by herself. Not trying to undermine women or anyone else; I felt very comfortable myself. I did not know they did a lot more than just smog tests. I’ll just say, from now on, my wife and I have a place to bring our vehicles when we need a good honest mechanic.

The staff go out of their way to service your vehicle at your convenience. They provide detailed answers to your questions. The staff will do research for you so your vehicle is fixed and no repairs are left undone. I highly recommend this shop!

Dhillon Motorsports Tire and Auto is absolutely the best mechanic shop in San Jose! Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my maintaining my Tesla. Kathy is amazing!!

I needed a smog check so that I could get my vehicle registration renewal completed. The friendly folks at Dhillon motorsports Were able to fit me in on short notice. It was a quick In-N-Out. I appreciate their service and thoroughness. I love using them for my routine car care.

Kathy was very kind and helpful while she checked in the car. The lobby area had plenty of seating and played Top Gear in the TV. There were complimentary snacks and coffee. They kept me informed via text through out the day on the progress of my car services. The street that it's on can be pretty busy around closing but that's because it's right next to the highway entrance.

Professional, first word that comes to mind. Had front suspension rebuilt and difference is incredible. Feel like racing! 3 year 36,000 warranty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The way Dhillon Motorsports made my day today. After being treated terribly at another smog shop, I came here. I was quickly helped by Kathy and her team. She listened to my situation and just made it right. Mind you I was stressed out running late on lunch. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the quick help and support to get this smog done! Took my 2000 Tundra in for smog check. Great pricing and service with polite, professional people. They have a nicely appointed waiting area with wi-fi, comfy couches and top quality snacks! Be sure to make an appointment for the best service. I barely had time to finish my cup of freshly brewed Peets! In and out in a half hour. Staff was friendly and work was completed, but took longer than anticipated. I not sure if the cost was competitive but it was close to my house. They provided me with a ride home when I dropped it off.

This place is a real gem. I was about to purchase a vehicle and wanted to have the perspective of professionals. Called the morning of, and was lucky enough to get in. The team here is so professional, not only are they very transparent about everything they are going to do, when they're done testing they provide you with videos and visualizations that led them to the conclusions they came to. The team knew I had little knowledge of what was going on, but provided me with the best guidance and expertise. I left with confidence, purchased the 30 + year old Montero and drove it 600 miles home.
