This place has changed ownership, and unfortunately, it’s not the reliable shop it used to be. Disregard any older reviews. They quoted me over $2,000 for several repairs, claiming multiple components were leaking. Pressed for time due to an upcoming work-related road trip, I opted to address one issue for $400—replacing a portion of the hosing they said was leaking and cleaning the supposedly leaking oils. A few weeks later, with more time to research, I found a reputable shop that replaced the pump that had failed (original reason I went to the shop) for just $370—work this place had quoted at $900. When I asked the new shop to check the hosing that I hadn't had replaced (that this place quoted me $2000 for), they confirmed there were no leaks at all. I can’t shake the feeling that I was scammed here. Edit: I reached out to them and got no reply lol Edit 2: About a month has passed since the initial review and CC dispute, and he called me today. He acted like I was an idiot for replacing the hoses they told me to replace, claiming he knew that wouldn't solve the problem?? Then in a nasty tone told me I'm not getting a refund from the CC dispute and hung up. Wild stuff

Dewayne's Precision Automotive is hands down the best shop in town! From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Had to replace the motor in our 2012 Prius, they did a great job with communicating throughout the entire process. Was transparent with what needed to be done. Will definitely bring my vehicles back for service and maintenance.

I trust Dewayne's. I had an issue with my car, so I brought it to them on a buddy's recommendation. Rather than just fix it and take my money, they let me know the issue was indirectly caused by a recall and I could get it fixed for free at a dealer, or they could fix it now but it would cost a good bit. Since then I've brought my car to them for everything. They do great work, they are fast, and they communicate with you. You get a call or a text from a real person, and they follow through with what they say. The car is ready when they say it will be and there are no surprises. Fair prices, great work, truatworthy. I highly recommend.

My experience was great as always. The price, reasonable and the repairs were great. I received my 4Runner in a timely manner. Dewayne’s is my go-to. They've performed major repairs to minor adjustments and trouble-shooting.

Totally recommend this shop! They are honest and communicated with me in a timely manner. I was quoted an estimate on what it would cost to fix my car and they came in lower than their estimate….that sure doesn’t happen at most businesses that I’ve dealt with over the years.

My review was for the previous owner and got lumped into the new ownership. I have had mixed results with the new ownership. They mis-diagnosed a repair even after I specifically exclaimed what I thought it was. I asked if they were sure and that there wouldn't be any further repairs needed. Afterwards there were further repairs needed, the repair that I first suspected and came to then explaining. After discussing the matter, they offered about half refund for the un-needed work performed which was at least semi-reasonable in the matter. I'll say 4 stars instead of 5 now. They do a good job in general, just not this one time. Previous 5 star review: Got my hybrid Prius air conditioner repaired here and it has been blowing cold all summer long. They even used the correct special oil ND-OIL 11 for this Toyota compressor/ condenser system.

Really like this place! The one I used before sold to a chain company and their prices tripled. A friend recommended this place to me for being honest and reasonably priced. She didn’t lie. There was no upselling, no pushing repairs I hadn’t come in for. They addressed the problem I brought it in for and got me in and out in 2 hours. Really appreciate that. Update: brought it back in today 1/17/2024 for a different issue. I had called at 4:35pm the night before asking if there was anyway they could get me in first thing this morning so I wouldn’t be too late for work and they squeezed me in. Found the problem, fixed it for less than $500 (one part alone was $185 that they had to have sent over from Auto Zone), and had me out the door in less than 2 hours again. On top of that they bought me breakfast while I waited. Such a great place. Nicest people who don’t gouge their prices. Client for life!

These folks are wonderful. DeWayne's is my go-to in denton for everything from oil changes to major repairs. The team is friendly, professional, and I think the owner is one of the mechanics. Once, they repaired some faulty wiring left by a uhaul installation, a couple days later I noticed a tail light wasn't working so I called DeWayne's back. They had me bring it in immediately, they went over the repairs promptly, and got me back on the road in less than an hour. Their commitment to the quality of their work is obvious, and I've always been more than pleased with the whole team. From front desk to back of shop, the team here is really top notch. Especially, as a woman often going in by myself; I appreciate that I've never been talked down to or made to feel inept. My questions are answered without judgement or condescension, and I always appreciate that. Highly recommend DeWayne's!
