Initially, they gave good service, as a friend of mine had my vehicle towed to get engine and minor services done. Therefore, I continued oil change and sensor repairs with them. This is when their quality of service started to be in question. Little things like engine lights and reset of codes were omitted in services.

Took our truck here to be looked at because the brakes were not working. It ended up being there 12 days before they even looked at it. They said it needed a new brake line, rotors,pads,bolts plus labor and quoted over 2000.00 dollars for repair. We paid 50 bucks for the diagnostic and Decided to take somewhere else. Felt we were being had. The rotors and pads were recently changed and when we asked if they could just change brake line they said it all had to be changed.

If all you need is an oil change, then you might be happy. I live across the street and have been coming since 2011 with family vehicles for every repair and oil change, and they don't even treat me like they've ever even seen me before. That I could live with, but the last two jobs didn't last long (headlight, taillights out) and had to be redone within a few months. Then when I asked on the phone about two jobs, I was told they can "look into it" but when I get there to pick up the vehicle, they hadn't even looked into it and told me "we don't do that, take it to a dealer ".

If you would like to be lied to have parts put on your vehicle that it does not need or straight up stolen from please speak with Tim the service manager if the owner of this company would like to talk to me please reach out this shop needs some serious serious help I am a 32 year ASE certified master technician and to have my father and mother in law treated like this is disgusting I am not looking for a job but people should not be treated like this ever

My husband and I spent over $10,000 on having three of our vehicles fixed here. One of our vehicles needed 4 new tires and an alignment. The alignment wasn’t right so we returned the car for further repair. We received the car back with two really bad worn out old tires on the front where our new tires were. I feel we were scammed. I do not trust them anymore.

Very disappointed with our experience here. We had been coming here for years, but have recently had several bad experiences, the last being when they worked on our transmission and we paid them $1,000+. It began leaking transmission fluid not too long after and we took the car to another shop and found out it wasn't done correctly, which is costing us $900 more to get fixed. After trying to call Devonshire to talk to them, they denied they did anything wrong. Will not be going back here again.

Went in due to a noise coming from my front wheels. They told me it was a bad wheel bearing and quoted me $500. When I went in to pay for my car I was charged $850 and the next week the noise was back. Didn’t really feel like they cared that the quote was so wrong or that my car was still not right.

In an emergency situation it worked out well. They did use a good replacement part. Main issue is they never called to give us a quote after diagnostics. They just did the work and claimed that's what they were told to do which is incorrect and not proper handling of the situation. But car is back and working great.

I have been taking vehicles to Tom's Devonshire for over 10 years. I have appreciated their pricing and work. However, over the last couple of years, ALL of my repairs for vehicles (three different vehicles) have ended up costing notably more than originally quoted. To top it off, the new a/c compressor installed a year and a half ago no longer works. The most recent repair started at $600 and ended up at $1200. When I mentioned to Tim that I didn't appreciate not being given a consultation prior to the added expense, he replied that he could take the part out and that I did not have to pay for it; even though my vehicle would not run right. I believe that either, Tim is not very good at his job, or dishonest, or both. I do not believe I will be going back. I'll take my chances elsewhere.
