Had my 98 Ducati monster carbs rebuilt by them. It was a great experience they went above and beyond and even helped me diagnose a separate issue on my bike. Great people would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get work done on an older duc. Also my bike runs 100% better than it did before! 10/10

This is by far my favourite motorcycle shop in Bay Area . They’ve worked on my modern triumph, my vintage triumph, and the bikes of many close friends and family. I’ve been bringing bike a to them for more than two decades. They’re thorough, helpful, and as knowledgeable as it gets. We are lucky to have a shop this good in San Francisco.

Decided it was time to take my 2011 BMWGSA to another shop and that was Desmoto-Sport. Not that the last shop was incapable, but that the reviews were great and it was real local. I’m real Happy that I did. My Bike I thought only needed a Basic Service, but I was informed that something was just not right with The Motor. They highlighted the fact that it was idling rough and vibrating big time. I told them that I thought that was normal for a big opposed 1200cc Boxer Motor and that it had always run like that, even after The BMW dealer serviced the bike. Scott at Desmoto said the mechanic who was working on my Bike actually rode a 1200 BMW as well and said it was almost unridable to him. Turns out The Throttle Bodies were really gunked up and The Injectors also were marginal. They replaced the injectors with new ones and installed some replacement throttle bodies I supplied them with. Now the Bike Runs like I’ve never known it to run. So Smooth and the Bars actually don’t even vibrate at all. Totally different Motorcycle. Took it down The Coast yesterday and WoW. I’m really Happy!!! Thank You Scott and Desmoto Sport. Can’t wait for the next long Road Trip.

I purchased a used BMW whilst in San Francisco. They were able to see me on short notice. It was deemed road worthy to ride back to AZ.

If you own a Ducati and don't go here, I don't know what you are doing. Heck, if you have an Aprilia, MV Agusta, BMW, or Triumph, why take your bike anywhere else? They also welcome Japanese bikes too. I have been taking my bike here for over 1.5 years, and I hope to do so for longer. They are quite flexible and understanding in their customer service. They know people have busy lives. The atmosphere is quite chill here too. I like that. That's what motorcycling should be about.

One of the beat shops in SF, hands down.

These guys rule. I brought in my wheels taken off the bike already to have the tires changed, and after personally reinstalling the wheels and checking tire pressure- they had already filled them to factory spec. It’s the little details like this that say a lot about a shop. Also good price for SF!

I would like to share my experience with Desmoto because it's worth my time. Since I had to tow my 2001 Aprillia RSV out there because of starting issues it was crucial to find a place that has the knowledge to do the work. Most other places were either afraid of working on the bike or too busy or quite frankly don't know how to work on it. Not Desomto. They were happy it was a stock bike and confident they could fix it. Obviously it took time to get the work done because of parts availability. Otherwise bike was completed with a annual service and numerous other things fixes. Now I can ride it without the worry of it not starting up again.( main problem was a wiring harness to the fuel pump) All in all I am very satisfied with Desmoto. If you have older v twins like Ducatis or Aprillia these guys will help.

My son and I were on a 5-day motorcycle trip up the Pacific Coast Highway. My son's Triumph Street Twin started having problems with the clutch lever. We stopped in at Desmoto-Sport and they could not have been more helpful. The dropped what they were doing, fixed, adjusted and cleaned the clutch lever where it was no longer sticking. We were in an out in 30 minutes. Really friendly and knowledgeable about European motorcycles. If I'm ever in the area again and need service, I will be taking my bike to Desmoto-Sport. Thank you.

I called about an issue. The guy on the phone asked if I was opening to trying something before needing to bring the bike in. 5 min later I had bled my clutch and BOOM everythings working fine! Any business who spares a few minutes helping troubleshoot over the phone is a business we should all support. I will definitely be using them for any future repairs and you should too!
