My car started having problems, and I needed somewhere close to get it to. I brought it to Dearing, and despite the impromptu visit, they diagnosed the problem, thoroughly explained what the situation was and how it would be fixed. They got all repairs done the following day and gave me a heads up on possible future problems I may need to be aware of with my car. Really friendly and honest staff, didn't feel pressured or confused, genuinely nice folks.

Dearing Auto is a fantastic family owned business. We take all of our cars to Manu and the team. They are straight forward, lead with integrity and are super transparent about your repairs. Great mechanics are hard to find today, these guys are the real deal.

Charged me 500 dollars for a light bulb and a fuel cap. Light bulb replacing took them "1.5 hours" while I learned from youtube later that it take less than 1 minute. They also said that I need to fix the suspension for $2500 dollars and I took the car to another technician, and they said NOTHING wrong with the suspension. STAY AWAY

Honesty at its finest. The Mercedes dealership claimed my brakes were dangerously worn beyond the pads. They wouldn’t price match, so I took it here. They looked at my car and told me I didn’t need brakes yet. I will be servicing my Mercedes here from now forward. Thank you for being honest! So happy to know integrity still exists in car repair. Shame on Mercedes of Austin.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! They really care about their customers and are always willing to lend a hand or listen to your concerns for your vehicle. I come here monthly for calibrations on my car and have had some other problems on my car unrelated to what I normally go for and they were so happy to help. I appreciate them so much! They seriously are so awesome!

Juan is friendly, helpful, informative, and timely! Got my car in EOD. Got a call the next day with an update and was able to pick up my car ready to go the next day. Reasonably priced. Overall great experience. Highly recommend.

My antique vehicle needed a fuel pump and carburetor replacement. It was difficult finding a carburetor replacement but Dearing Automotive was patient and we found a replacement. Their charges were very reasonable.

Please heed my advice and DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT, go to Dearing Automotive for car needs. Long story short, $900 and three weeks of my time later, issue with my vehicle was not fixed and I had to use a different automotive shop (which repaired it after one visit). Every time I went in, Juan would find something else wrong with my car and charge more. Needless to say, I was highly dissatisfied with quality of service provided. Save yourself the money and headache and avoid Dearing at all cost.

Had my car towed here because it died on the road while I was driving. They said it was a short in the main harness that connects to the coil pack. They repaired it and my car was fine until today it started idling rough and there was no power. I opened the hood to check to see if I could see anything obvious going on and that's when I see that the harness is zip tied to the coil pack. Really?? I paid $300 for them to zip tie the harness to the coil pack. Definitely do not go here.

One of the best Auto service experiences I've had. Quick turnaround, friendly staff, and honest prices. Came in to have my splash shield fixed after it got damaged. Whole thing was done in under an hour. They also have very friendly pets in the waiting room :)

So unprofessional! We used to take the car there but we won’t be ever again. So my husband went there Tuesday morning and talked to a guy who I think is the owner, he requested a fix for the scape pipe, so the guy tells him he needs to run a diagnosis first to give him a formal quote or budget. And so he did and gave him a piece of paper where it had it. So he went NEXT DAY, and talk to the son and show him the quote his father gave him and he said that is not possible to do it on that price, that it was going to be a couple of hundreds more. Upset and everything decided to move on with it and leaves him the car and went to work. So after a whole day he calls to see how the car was going and this guy tells him he wasn’t able to do anything cause he didn’t have the piece he needed and to find it will be a couple of hundreds more!! My husband took the car and left! That’s just unbelievable how irresponsible they are! And if they give you a paper quote how can they change it from one day to the next and then change it again the same day! At least keep your word. Or don’t even accept the car if you don’t have the pieces! It’s ridiculous

i highly recommend Juan and his team at Dearing Automotive. They fixed my Audi and saved me thousands! i took my car to Audi and was diagnosed with a $5000 bill so Juan and his team did all the work and solved all my problems for a fraction of the price! Very trustworthy and they wont rip you off !
