Came in with an 2005 Audi that was experiencing many issues. Main issue was overheating as well as smoking. I was not an informed car guy when i went for repairs so when they explained the issue was the turbo i believed them. They quoted me $2500 to replace the turbo. I picked my car up a week later and the check engine light was still on and it was still overheating and smoking. I brought it back and they blamed me for messing with the car stating that they should be the only ones to touch the car. What did i do, You ask? I opened the hood and replaced the coolant cause it was low. I decided to take it to another shop to a get a diagnosis and they said it was very obviously not a turbo issue and actually the main head gasket had blown. Im now more knowledgeable and even i could’ve diagnosed that with the symptoms. Dont come here.

What a fantastic shop! Dalton was recommended by a friend and has been wonderful to keep our Honda Pilot in great shape. Our prior mechanic retired a few years ago and we had been looking for someone that would be a partner in caring for our cars (not just a transaction or pushing extra work). Our Honda Pilot was having what appeared to be transmission issues and we took it to Dalton and Marcello. They figured out the issues and our Pilot is running great! They are our Team for all of our cars. We have referred a few friends to Dalcar Auto and they have had great experiences!

He’s a pretty good mechanic and a smooth talker. Really builds the trust. I recommend questioning his parts pricing. He thought it was a necessity to put a OEM AC compressor in a 16 year old CLK350. When I questions him he said it’s not up to me to decide what parts go in my car. The a whole explanation of how car parts have tripled these last couple years. Basically he charged $935 for a $200 aftermarket part. He claimed oem costs way more. I asked for the proof and he kicked me out of his shop and said he was calling 911 on me when I started recording him. In my experience honest people don’t act that way. The oem part online is $435 retail.

BEWARE! Do not trust Dalton! After $8,000 and three months with my vehicle, my vehicle still smokes! This was the most horrible experience ever! He is rude, will hang up on you, block your number and lie! He is not a professional and does not stand by his warranty! Legal recourse is next! $8000 dollars! Please do not come here. The negative energy that Dalton gives to his customers will come back to him and will eat away at his spirit every day.

Top reasons why this was the best auto repair experience I've ever had. - A free brake consultation when other shops were charging. - A few hundred dollars cheaper than the dealer but I still felt the security of the dealer. - Took the time to show me the ridiculousness that Valvoline did to my car during my last oil change. - Picked up my after only 6 hours. - Super fluffy and cute dogs in the comfy waiting room.

I had, had very bad dealings over the years with repair shops that had ripped me off to the tune of thousands of dollars. Dalcar was recommended to me many years ago and I have never looked back. Dalton's expertise allows him to diagnose problems other people miss. I have taken him a huge variety of vehicles of my own and recommended him to friends,all whom have been delighted . His honesty is extremely refreshing. These days having car trouble is stressful enough, but knowing you can take it somewhere where you will be told the truth and treated respectfully, Is outstanding. And that's what Dalcar is, out standing.

For the past several years, I've been trying out different mechanics for regular maintenance or varied issues in my cars. I've been so frustrated with what I've been finding that I decided to follow the many recommendations I received and I drove 70 miles from the South Bay to Riverside to have my car checked at this shop. Dalton himself made a thorough examination of the vehicle and presented a really honest assessment of the issues and the possible courses of action. He walked me through every step of every process and made me feel very comfortable with every action being taken. Over the years, I've learned that many mechanics will tell you something close to what you want to hear, which will seem to solve the problem momentarily and then, you'll be back again in a few months. This was the first time, in a long time, that I felt that what needed to be done, was done and I, personally, appreciate when people are to the point, knowledgeable, committed and sincere; all characteristics I was able to find here. I highly recommend this place!

I known Dalton for over 13 years I first bought a used car then he fix other cars, now servicing my Audi S8 very expensive car. And I trust him more than the Audi dealer as they don’t me wrong, I Encourage you to try them even with the most expensive cars or the least expensive you will get honesty integrity and a fair price.

I took my car to this shop twice and each time I took it in there resulted a different issue. The last time I came in the owner insulted me with slurs and called me an idiot, stupid, and other demeaning words. He was extremely defensive when I asked him about the mechanisms of each part that was fixed. He repeatedly would cut me off when I tried to explain my issue. I had great rapport with his son who is very helpful and honest, but as far as the owner/head mechanic he is bad news. The things that I came in for: 1st visit- Engine Coils for my Audi A4 Which he charged $650 Then my car oil started leaking. 2nd Visit - Oil Leak Which he charged again $700 Then my car was burning too much oil and overheating 3rd Visit - Overheating He forgot to place the coolant hoses back into the proper place when fixing the oil issue and housing block and now refuses to look at my car. Don't recommend this place at all, and especially if you're African American; expressed rascist remarks that dwelled on current police brutality.

Called in to ask about an engine swap, price qouted was almost 1000$ more expensive than any other quote. When I tried to speak with them about repair the head myself an having them do the timing an check everything over he laughed at me an told me don't bring my car to his shop he doesn't work on cars other mechanics have touched. The guy was about as rude and insulting as you could be. I know my car QUITE well but this guy tried to double talk me an was rude the whole time... Horrible experience with dalcar. I would NEVER trust them to do my repairs after the way the guy talked to me and tried to condesend to me.
