Had a friend turn me on to this place. Reasonable prices and great work. Direct and trustworthy. I actually don't think I have ever done a google review on anything before. But after another great experience with them yesterday I just wanted to share how awesome this business is. Thanks!

Went to D&B in July after going to them over the years. After charging me $2650 and replacing head gasket and a lot of other things, check engine light turned on and car drove rough. Went back, they replaced knock sensor. Left and engine light turned on in a couple of miles, driving rough. Brought back, they gave new idle air control valve. Left and check engine light on in three miles and driving rough. Brought back same day and they gaslit me and told me it only happened when I drove it and then said I probably needed a new transmission. Took it to John's Auto and in 30 minutes they diagnosed and fixed the vacuum leak. It did not need any new parts and was obvious to all three mechanics and secretary the noise and issues. It drives great now. Four times D&B could not find the issue which John found in minutes. The only way they missed this easy diagnosis is they either didn't look, which makes them poor mechanics, or they are dishonest, or both. On the bright side, I have an honest, reputable new mechanic now.

I had a great experience here, I brought my car in for a coolant leak and front strut replacement. They did a fantastic job, I got a text within an hour of drop off letting me know what the check engine light and coolant leak issue were! My car drives smoother than it ever has with the new struts! I highly recommend!! I'm a young college age girl and did not feel I was being taken advantage of in any way. They did exactly what I told them to do with no pushing of anymore repairs, even went through a general check up and said my car is in great shape! Thank you D & B Bear for being a professional, trustworthy mechanic shop!

D&B bear provides Excellent Car Service. I had my truck in they replace the water pump and now I have air conditioning back! Awesome job folks! My girlfriend took her car in and all they needed was spark plugs and new wires and it runs like a champ now. They do excellent work highly recommend D&B bear.

Brought a car in here for a used car inspection. The price tag (which is well below average, I've just never done something like this before) scared me at first, but I decided to go for it and I'm SO glad I did. I got a call back an hour after I dropped it off and the man (didn't catch his name but he had a white beard) was very knowledgeable and upfront with me. He provided an estimate for the repairs and told me flat out that it wasn't worth what it was being sold for and I shouldn't buy it. It was exactly what I wanted. All the reviews are true, this is not the kind of place that will take advantage of women and/or people who are obviously inexperienced with cars. I highly recommend it

I cannot recommend these folks highly enough! I have referred multiple family members to them over the past year and just recently had them work on one of my cars and it was five star service from beginning to end! Jack, Kalista, and the whole crew are top-notch people who do incredible work, they had my car in and out in such a quick amount of time I couldn’t believe it!

I've used this place over the years when I need something done that I don't want to do myself. I'd say for the past 20 years or so that I've used them I have found them to be HONEST, fair, and do quality work. This time they even did a few extra things for me at no charge. Amazing!!!

If I could give more stars I would! Calista ( hope I spelled it correctly)went above and beyond to help get the correct information to get my issue fixed. Spending 15 plus mins on hold with a dealership and getting nowhere ,then contacting a parts store to get help and the correct part. Appreciate that I was told there might be a sensor issue if I had the work done and they don't have the equipment to reset it. I decided to chance it. I am so glad I did!! The tech did a great job AND no sensor issue. I will absolutely refer everyone to D and B Honest,careing people.

I can't say enough good things about D&B Bear! Someone had tried to break into my car when it was parked across the street from D & B and when I tried to start it my car turned half way over and I couldn't get it to turn on or off. I called roadside assistance and they were going to tow it to the dealership but the dealership said they were so backed up it would be almost 6 weeks before they could even look at it leaving me stranded without a car. I called D&B and explained my situation and one of the mechanics walked over and fixed my car right there on the side of the road immediately. They were so amazing and have certainly earned my business moving forward. They are truly good people!!!

I've always liked these guys. They are fair and honest. Here's one example: had my car in for a thermostat replacement and to check out a weird sound. They did the thermostat. Regarding the sound, they found something that needed to be fixed. Gave me the bill and I paid. No worries, right? At the end of the business day, I got a call from them. They had a boss guy checking over the invoices of the day and determined that my job should have been billed less. They called to let me know they were refunding me $50. How many mechanics shops are doing that?

Not only are the prices fair and the work quality, the employees are kind and willing to talk through issues in an explanatory and helpful way. I never feel condescended to, and that's such a rarity as a single woman at the mechanic's shop.

The best auto shop in the Willamette Valley! Their staff are friendly and knowledgeable. After a less than satisfactory experience at Subaru of Corvallis I could not be more satisfied with D & B Bear. This shop really saved us. In the middle of a road trip from the Oregon coast to Salt Lake City, our alternator went out. These guys showed some serious class and kindness in getting us into the shop and back on the road in no time, which was incredibly amazing for us. They also charged a very fair rate, less than our usual mechanic at home! 🙏🙏🙏

What a wonderful experience! First contacted D & B for a second opinion on a quote from another shop, (so I'm not a regular customer, just a random phone call). They spent more than an hour going back and forth with me, detailing all costs and letting me know something just doesn't add up, and their quote for the same service was about $800 dollars less. I was already convinced to go there by their customer service but the price couldn't be beat. They got me in the shop the same week (during a 3 digit heatwave!!) took me on a drive to make sure they understood the noise I was hearing, and then went on to inspect my car fully. Called me later to tell me what the other shop found was in fact NOT broken, told me two DIFFERENT things that needed to be fixed at some point in the future and then sent me on my way. I have to be clear that I did not pay a single penny for all of this AND they wouldn't accept a tip because "its our job to take care of you". WOW. Im a lifetime customer now, and you should be too!
