I’ve been coming here since I’ve moved to Austin. 3 years and 3 cars later and these fine gentleman have shown me the same amount of care and respect each time. What would’ve cost me literally over 10.K Mohammed was able to get my truck fixed up and in tip top shape for a fraction of that. This time he took the cake by going above and beyond by searching for a part that GM discontinued. Like who does that? Other repair shops have and would have tried to take advantage or up charge because the part was difficult to locate. He simply said “I found it for you buddy no problem” with a smile on his face. I can’t thank him enough and I’ll continue to be a patron of his business. Good job fellas!!

Called to see if a Honda I saw on Carfax was available. I was skeptical but was able to view, get some small tweaks fixed, and drive away w the car next day. Fateh and Mohammed were honest and helpful w the whole process. Would definitely come back.

I had a great experience with Crank Auto Repair! My car heater went out and Fateh was able to diagnose and repair within a couple of hours. He stayed well beyond the closing time and was kind and fair in his pricing. He also gave me tips on how to prevent the outage from happening again which I greatly appreciate. Excellent customer experience and I am happy to have found a reliable mechanic in south Austin!

SO SO SO THANKFUL FOR THEM!!! Was traveling very far out from my hometown (all the way in Arizona), just got done driving 18 hours. Noticed there was a knocking noise coming from my vehicle. Called around but no one had any open availability, thankfully Crank Auto was open weekends and very welcoming to me. Had me bring in the vehicle and found out my bearings and ball joint was very bad! Not to mention how quick the timing was to make sure it was done but they were very accommodating and affordable for my family. Highly recommend! Never have I had such gracious behavior from mechanics in my life!

I had a fantastic experience with Crank Auto Repair. I had just pulled out of a local dealership with a borrowers agreement for a used car I wanted to buy, and I wanted to take it to a mechanic for an in-depth pre-purchase inspection. However, every mechanic shop I called was too busy to help me on the spot, and I started to panic. Luckily, Crank Auto Repair was there to save the day. Flaco was able to help me inspect the car, giving me the piece of mind I needed to purchase it with confidence. He is honest, fair, and quick with his work. I highly recommend his services.

Crank Auto Repair does it again! Car was overheating and no more than 5 seconds upon opening the hood, he immediately diagnosed the problem. Told me he could replace the radiator within a 2-3 hour turnaround. Gave me an extremely fair price and picked up my vehicle that same day. Car no longer overheats. He's been my go-to mechanic for a while now. Will definitely go back again.

Our experience at crank Auto has been fantastic. We found a car on their website that was in our budget for our 16 year old and drove over there to look at it. After looking at the vehicle and an open and honest discussion, we purchased the vehicle. The check engine light came on the next day, and he asked us to bring it back to make some small repairs. He didn't have the right parts on hand, so he offered us a loaner vehicle and even offered to bring the vehicle back to me. We would have to say that this was, and is a great experience, and you should feel confident in the product and service offer to crank Auto. He truly cares about the customer, and that is huge when you are trying to find a used car

Ever since I moved to Austin 5 years ago, Crank Auto has been my go to repair shop! The whole crew at the shop are amazing, honest, and fair when it comes to any repairs needed to your vehicle. I’ve referred numerous friends there when they’ve needed something fixed and they’ve all been very happy after leaving the shop. Highly recommend. And if you’re looking to sell your vehicle, look to them first, they will give you a fair price compared to what CarMax or other dealerships will offer. I sold them my old truck after I recently purchased a new one, they are confident in the work they’ve done on it and know the value. Crank Auto is the best!

Fateh is incredibly kind and provides excellent service. I took my 2017 Jeep to Crank Auto to have my brakes replaced and a bulb replaced on my directional, both were done in a timely manner. Would highly recommend taking your vehicle to Crank for repairs, and I will definitely be a returning customer.

I bought a car with Crank Auto Repair literally today and Mohammed and Fateh were awesome!! Friendly, genuine, helpful, and super patient and understanding while my card was not cooperating with the card reader lol. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy used cars, and I plan to go there for any oil changes or maintenance in the future!!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Fateh was the most helpful after suffering with no AC for the majority of the Texas summer heat…. He was able to get us in right away, completed a complex job same-day, and was priced below what I anticipated. Rarely does my husband have a good note after interacting with car/repair people, but his reaction to the amazing customer service says it all!!! THANK YOU for such an amazing experience! We’ll definitely be using Crank Auto Repair in the future for all our vehicles and recommending to others!

This is my GO-TO shop!! They tell you straight up what is wrong with your car and how they will fit it. The guys are genuine and honest, you can’t get that anywhere these days. They will answer all of your questions and find the best parts for reasonable price! Talk to Fateh!

Crank Auto Repair was not only helpful, fast, and diligent but they didn’t try to swindle me. They gave me such a fair price for labor and the parts needed for my Chevy Trax (a new thermostat and water pump). While also having my car ready in less than 24 hrs even after I had to rush my car in 30 minutes before closing! I would highly recommend coming here for any car troubles.

Second time going for a car inspection. I even called ahead and the guy told me from 12pm-3pm. When I get there he tells me his going to lunch it would of been nice if he could of told me that over the phone. I have a newborn that's why I called ahead not to waste my time!

A true JEM! The team at this place always works so quickly on my car and the prices don't break the bank! BIG Shout out to Fateh for being so personable & for this super great shirt! Since I've moved to Austin and was recommend to this repair shop I have not felt the need to go anywhere else. My last repair only took one day! Gotta go again pretty soon to have my muffler fixed lol Updated June: Went to get my spark plugs and ignition coils changed! Super quick and affordable. I went to jiffy lube first and it was going to cost me $700+, saved $200 coming here. Never dissapoints!
