Dude worked on my mother's car that only needed one part changed, doesn't change that part and instead holds my mother's vehicle for 3+ months and charges her 8500$+ for it and then continues to try to curse her out and treat her as shes stupid. Worst shop in Slidell and theirs some fishy shops out here, avoid Craig. Not a "core buyer". I haven't shopped with you for 20 years either we just heard of your shop and mother was recommended to y'all by my grandmother. She went up there for a 2014 Chevy Malibu for a oil pressure switch change that costed 2k and then u still never even put the part on. When she received the car back from y'all it was all molded up as you left all the windows down on her vehicle, then as she was leaving the shop her car again broke down and it took you little over a month to even touch it and then proceeded to say it needed 6500$+ in repairs when I know first hand it never needed anything else but a oil pressure switch. Your a fishy mechanic shop and you know it. I wouldn't recommend to my family, maybe enemies If I had some. Really I'd just like to talk to you about it in person and see why the hell you thought it was ok to charge my mother 2k+ for an oil pressure switch that never got put on and the car is now in worse condition before it went into your shop. Excellent shop I broke down on the interstate traveling across country had my truck towed here had my issue diagnosed and back on the road in the same day couldn't have asked for better service at a reasonable price great place would recommend if anybody needs a good mechanic this is the place to go

We had a car problem while driving through the area. Luckily we stumbled across Craig's Automotive. Craig diagnosed our problem and had us on the road again within 1.5hr. And didn't charge us a fortune. I can't sing their praise enough.

Craig is a very DIRTY man. He caused me to loss money. He wanted to be the the person to fix my vehicle. I already had spent $1,100 with him. My brakes was scrubbing and I could have lost my life. With that being said. When I brought my car back to him, it was all good. He went out of town. When he got back he called my husband, cussing being combative. He told us to come and get our car. He knew we loss money, bye him telling us he was gonna fix our car. Craig is no good. If you know like me. and he's all about money. If you know like me find another mechanic. He's no good and Dirty I asked about a discount he said he don't operate like that. .

I was referred to Craig by my car dealership regarding an issue that would have been costly if done there. I'm so glad they did. Craig was great. He spent a good deal of time on the phone discussing what the problem may be even before I came in. He demonstrated a respectable amount of knowledge and explained the issue in a clear way that I, someone who knows very little about cars, could understand. Will definitely be going back!

Too busy to get to me for several days. Also, my past experience was to go unassisted for five minutes or so while several employees stood behind the desk looking at me in a scene that could have come from the movie Deliverance. Lucky to get out alive I guess. You never know.

Just brought my vehicle to have a look at the noisy exhaust system on my Xterra with the expectation that I may be replacing the whole system. After explaining what I had, Craig took my vehicle on the rack and inspected it. Then after a test drive and more looking, he found the problem and showed me. He explained that I had a perfectly good exhaust system that should not be replaced. He then did some tack welding and the noise was fixed. After he took it off the rack, he shook my hand and said no problem, without charging me. Wow! In 30 minutes he solved the problem over which I was agonising for months. This totally unexpected outcome was outstanding and made my week! A mechanic that actually investigates the problem is such a rarity. I would go back to his shop again in a heartbeat!
