This place is by far the cleanest workshop I have seen in ages. Good customer service, good communication. Not trying to sell you on your fear. Very enlightening and informing about our vehicle's status and recommendation. Clean waiting area with snacks and beverages while we waited for the vehicle. We can even look into the workshop when things are being taken care of. Simply amazing!

I had an outstanding experience with the team at Craftsman Auto Care! From the moment I dropped off my car, they were incredibly friendly, informative, and kept me updated every step of the way. They gave me a realistic timeline for when the job would be completed and stuck to it, which I really appreciated. What really set them apart was their excellent customer service. After dropping off my car, they even gave me a ride home, which made the process so much more convenient. On top of that, they offered me a loaner car or to cover a Lyft/Uber if needed. It’s rare to find a shop that goes the extra mile to ensure a smooth and stress-free experience for their customers. While my services were on the expensive side, the level of care, communication, and convenience they provided made it all worth it. Now, my car feels brand new! I highly recommend Craftsman Auto Care to anyone looking for quality service and a team that truly values their customers.

I highly recommend Craftsman Auto Care in Merrifield! The team is professional, responsive, and courteous. I have been bringing my vehicles there for years and have never had a bad experience. They provide amazing service and can perform a variety of tasks from inspections, to windshield replacement, tires, and repairs.

Was here for an oil change and had a good experience. They were familiar with my type of car so knew not to put too much oil. That has been a problem before at other places. They also explained other service I may need in the future.

Craftman’s has provided me with the best experience of any auto mechanics in my 50+ years of auto ownership. They fixed my 20 year old Tundra so that it drives like new. I had been taking it to the Toyota dealer for service, until I realized the dealer was more interested in selling me a new truck than fixing my old one. Craftman’s mechanics are courteous, professional, knowledgeable, honest and kind. I highly recommend them.

Friendly but otherwise offer an experience that one would expect at a dealership. Go in for a simple oil change and leave with thousands of dollars in recommended maintenance and repairs, most of which were extremely overpriced. Upon declining additional work my car was returned with a paper floor mat and utility razor blade left behind. When I got home I also found that they hadn’t even bothered to correctly reinstall parts for the cabin air filter and glove compartment. Not the worst option but certainly not the best either.

Issue with my car was tedious where they had to go wire by wire to figure out what was causing the engine to get a misreading. It definitely took longer than I anticipated or wanted. The service overall was good. They care about their customers and aren’t out to try to rip you off with all the things you “must” do to repair your car.

Overall, I think the service was great, and the pricing was fair, but I did have two concerns. When I picked up my car, I noticed that the glove compartment was open, with its contents scattered across the seat and floor. While I couldn’t recall every item that had been inside, the important things seemed to be accounted for. The bigger concern for me was that my dash camera was disconnected at by the driver—after the maintenance was already completed. I’m not sure why it was completely unplugged, and this, combined with the state of the glove compartment, left me feeling uneasy. I want to trust the service I receive, but this experience made me uncomfortable, and for that reason, I don’t feel I can leave a full five-star review. Outside of those two things I felt that they were very friendly over the phone and in person and seemed quite honest when going over the diagnostic list with me. All the items listed I knew were things that needed to be serviced so I didn’t feel like they were trying to “nickel and dime” me for unnecessary things. Update: they were very quick to reach out and resolve the matter. They very apologetic about the incident and handled the matter professionally and efficiently.

The team here is very friendly and straightforward. They really do their best to make sure you're properly taken care of. Just as an example, I came in with squeaking in my brakes, which was fixed immediately after they diagnosed the problem and was charged for the initial repair. A few days after, I experienced the squeaking again and took the car back to them, where they diagnosed another cause for the noise and fixed it for no extra charge. Additionally, while I was out of a car for repairs, they called up a Lyft for me as a completely complimentary service. I've been here multiple times with multiple cars and have been very pleased with the high quality work and service I was provided by the team.

As usual, craftsman went above and beyond to provide the best auto care. My car was leaking oil badly. Brennan and the team at craftsman merrifield found the problem, sourced the parts (needed a special order) and got everything squared away within the promised time frame and on budget. These guys know what they're doing, are honest and kept me informed throughout the process. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve never been to a place that was so thorough and professional. You go in with issues with your vehicle and they treat you family! The team that assisted Brennan did an amazing job. He stayed in contact with me all throughout the day while my car was in the shop and gave clear feedback on what are priority items! I will most definitely be returning to service my vehicle and all others in the future!

This specific Craftsman Auto Care experience was handled by Pete and Brennan from the phone service to the walk-in visit and then leaving after checking out it was a pleasure to be apart of. Simply put, Craftsman is by far the best car repair shop I’ve ever been to - the true definition of a five star experience. Take your car here for service and you won’t regret it! I brought my car in with a brake issue that another mechanic couldn’t solve. My assigned technician, Brennan, offered to ride in my car to experience the issue firsthand. Then, the mechanics not only solved my issue in the same day, they immediately notified me of serious damage caused by the other mechanic. And unlike at the dealer or other chains, Brennan always picked up the phone, answered all my questions and concerns with patience and complete transparency, and never pressured me into any decision. Craftsman’s mechanics take photos of everything and write out their findings, meaning you never have to question whether the work they recommend is truly necessary. Thanks to Brennan and the entire team for restoring my confidence in my car and helping me after a terrible experience elsewhere! You have me as a customer for life!

Something I really appreciated was the detail provided in the report at the end. They cover everything they looked at accompanied with pictures (which helps me…) so it’s easy for someone not as far savvy to follow along. Thought the service was exceptional so definitely recommend taking your car here.

This whole team is in an elite class of their own! Bumper to bumper check EVERY time. They let you know what needs to be done but also don’t force services down your throat like most! The time and patience they’ve shown me will always keep me coming back. Hard to find a car service center that you can actually trust, and this is that shop!
