Gets the work done, takes longer than planned though. I’ve been here twice in the last 6 months. First time was July 2024 to get my brakes replaced. If I remember correctly, either took the entire day or I had to come back the next day. Kind of annoying. Pretty sure I had an appointment too. Either way, still a long time for a shop to have your car for something that shouldn’t take them that long. Recently I had to go in because my brakes (6 months later) were still squeaking. I also had to have my serpentine belt replaced due to wear. Didn’t have an appointment so I didn’t complain when it was taking awhile. Get a call a few hours later that they broke 2 belts while trying to get a new one on. Apparently my make of vehicle needs a “special tool” he had to order, now that won’t be there till the next day. So now my car is staying overnight. Again. Okay, whatever. But now the cost also went from $120 to $355 for this tool add on. Also didn’t call me when my car was ready the second day. Told me it’ll be before close so I waited until 5:30 and just called myself. Sure was ready. Not sure how long it had been sitting there. At least they stopped my brakes from squealing. I only have gone to this place due to convenient location close to home and pricing is a bit cheaper. But it’s true— you get what you pay for. I’ll be going to another shop from now on.

They may get the job done, but will usually leave you with more issues you've got to deal with. I've gotten my car back with scratches in the paint, dirt on the carpet, oil/grease smeared all over the inside of my car. Not very friendly people either. Best thing about them is that they are local to me, if it wasn't for that I'd personally never go there.

They are so awesome. Had rotors and brake pads fixed for an awesome price. They don't try to get rich from one person. First time going there. They are always busy and I know why now. Thanks for the awesome service.

I took my car in for air conditioning repair, and when I picked it up, they had replaced the radiator and one of the two fans. There was also a dirty engine coolant reservoir cap and only one new fan instead of the two they had promised to replace.

0 stars!!!!!! Ladies don’t even bother to come here. I’ve come on 3 occasions (5hours total waiting) just to be told they do not have someone knowledgeable enough to fix my AC. “I can try and come back another day when I have more time”?! Like that is going to fix anything. I’m out time and money and still no AC.

Ive entrusting Coulwood with 3 of my cars for the past 6 years for minor jobs. I’ve recommended people in the area to them. They’ve never been the friendliest, but luckily I don’t go to auto repair shops to make friends. I go to get my car fixed, and up until my last 2 visits, that has happened. My last 2 visits extended over 2 days each and with each mis diagnosis/non diagnosis, I was super patient and understanding even though on 2 occasions, they kept my vehicle all day and did nothing because they couldn’t hear the sound I was hearing…Because the malfunction was in its early stages, it wasn’t the loudest sound to hear, nor did it happen all the time so I understood.. but finding someone to take a quick second ride to actually hear the sound was like pulling teeth. I felt disrespected and dismissed. My last visit specifically was enough to completely cut my business relationship with these people. Organization and coordination has obviously slipped over the years. I was able to get the issue diagnosed and fixed the following day, and they did it with a smile. I paid a bit more, but it helped me realize that I was getting exactly what I paid for with these people.

I will NOT be back!! Came in for an inspection and oil change. I was told it will take about an hour, which is ok. After 1-1/2 hours my car was ready, only to find they only inspected it and forgot the oil change. Was told it would be moved to the front of the line for the inconvenience. I saw my car go back and it’s been sitting in the oil change bay for over an hour and no one is working on it. Been here over 3 hours!

I've been a customer since my first car!! They have very knowledgeable and friendly mechanics/ Technicians who pretty much does it all. I personally trust these guys with my car and I will trust them with my children's cars!! All around great place!!!

I've had great experiences with Coulwood Tire and Auto. They have helped with oil changes, boat trailer tires, alignments, and tpms sensors for our various vehicles. They are honest, reasonably priced, and will work you in to get things done. They have always been busy when I have been in and I am sure that is because of the great job and fair prices they provide.

I had needed some brakes for my Honda and didn’t want to drive far or pay an arm and leg for them. I called and got a quote over the phone I can’t remember the guy’s name but he was very helpful and remembered me when I came in. He got me in immediately and did a great job on my brake repair. I was happy that they didn’t try to upsell me on anything and they were the cheapest out of all of the car repair centers I have called over the past month. Customer service was superb I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Coulwood tire and Auto has gained a new customer for sure, I highly recommend them.

It takes at least three days for them to get to your car. As far as I know they don't offer a loaner or anything like that. So if you have to get your car fixed quickly this is not the place for you

I’ve brought several work trucks and personal vehicles here when they’ve needed service. All repairs have been straightforward and reasonable priced. We usually leave our vehicles for a few days, and that’s ok with us. I’m glad to have this shop around here.
