If Costco wasn’t a mile from my house I wouldn’t be coming here but it’s convenient. The customer service here is non existent. It’s horrible and they are rude! Half the time there is a line because they are so slow. You will wait about 15 min at minimum to be seen! Go elsewhere if you can!

I’m a huge fan of Costco. When I needed new tires, I ordered them online and made an appointment for a week and a half later. I showed up to my appointment 5 minutes late due to there being no parking near the tire center, and the employee was so rude about me being there past my appointment time (saying I need to be there 15 minutes before, when the website and email never said that) and told me it would take 3 hours for them to be installed. Safe to say I’m cancelling my order and going elsewhere.

This place is describes in one Word - sucks Wait time are horrendous to get attended to - they say it will take 1h to rotate tires in reality it is about 2h, or more, they even forgot to service my car while being dropped off, , stay away and go somewhere else,

horrible customer service. impossible to get a hold of anyone on the phone I got sold a battery 4 months ago that's already dying. now I'm looking at hours to get this situation dealt with,going down there waiting in line screwing around avoid these people like to plague. even who knows if they'll even deal with it I'm almost ready to cancel my membership because of these people

DON'T GO HERE IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING REMOTELY DIFFICULT. OEM tire changes only. NOT WHEELS. NOT ANYTHING AFTERMARKET. The front people don't know anything either. PLEASE DO YOU OWN RESEARCH.

Had a tire blow, so I had the tow truck tow it here for a new set of tires and the tow left my car blocking one of the bays. I wanted to move it as quickly as possible so as to not be blocking the bay, so I got in line at the tire center to speak to someone about it. I told an employee that I was the car blocking the bay, and he said no worries, will have someone speak with you shortly. Waited for about 30 minutes and then a different employee came and yelled at me about how my car was blocking the bay and told me to move it. I said I was aware, was waiting to speak to someone about moving it because one of the tires is blown. He said “don’t care, get it out of here.” Unbelievably rude. Adding one star for the employee that did try to help me drag my car with a missing wheel to a parking spot, despite being severely understaffed. UPDATE: moving the car on a blown tire completely wrapped the tire around the metal making it completely unmovable so the tow truck couldn’t even load it 🙄 thanks costco tire center!

I ordered tires for my 2020 Toyota Camry online that were 10mm wider then the stock size of 215mm. Juan told me the manager would not install them as they would only go up to 3% wider, and I was at 4%. These cars come with options as wide as 235mm. It was a complete wast of time ordering tires, making an appointment, and going to the refund desk in the end. I have been there before and the service was poor and they seem too busy to care at all.

If I could give this tire center 0 stars I would. I made an appointment to get my tires rotated here and was waiting in line for 15 minutes before the workers said I “missed my time window” to be helped and they refused to do the service on my car. They were nasty and disrespectful and I don’t think anyone should get services done here unless they like their time being wasted.

It's now easier to steal a car from the tire center than get into the main store! Despite having a reservation i was told it was a 1.5 hour wait for a rotation and balance. I was told I'd be called when my car was ready. I was never called. When I showed up after 2.5 hours I pointed to my vehicle and said it was mine. The tech didn't ask for my name or ID. He only handed me the keys. When I asked why I didn't receive a call that my vehicle was ready he said he called and left a voicemail. This was not true. Would never return. Disrespect my time. High likely hood of my vehicle being stolen. It's harder to buy toilet paper here than steal a car.

07/10/24 I took my car for a very minor repair which I already located for them. Very friendly and polite "Rodney" checks me in Pre-Inspection of the tire and says: Rodney- based on my inspection I am noticing your thread. It's running low and I recommend a tire replacement. Me- do you realize this is a 2023 Ford f150 with only 12094 original miles on those tires? How did you possibly come out to that conclusion? Rodney- based on my experience. Me- how long have you been working here? Rodney- A bit over a year Me- well I guess that explains it all. Rodney This could be- can't (thank you joshua determine to earn the commission no matter what) well you see on the edges the thread is thinner. That means it's wearing out Me- (laughing out loud and pointing to other tires with the same finish at the edges) Sir, do you realize that these Hankook Dynapro AT2 are rated)warrantees to 60k miles? If you are correct I could get brand new ones for free. Can you give me your recommendation in writing? Rodney- (staring at the computer monitor and typing vigorously in complete silence) [no response] I expect that from your neighborhood tire shop but it's very disappointing when it comes from Costco membership protected customers. I will say if you are not a mechanically inclined person and you have too much disposable income, you should stay away from this place.

Absolutely terrible. Brought my car in for a replacement tire, original tire had side wall damage. Staff said it was under Costco’s warranty, but my tire was discontinued so they need to order the new one. They claimed it would work fine. Tire was delivered, only I get a call saying they messed up and the tire won’t work, because it has a different speed rating than my others. So I need to buy all new tires, which need to be ordered and I need to come back later. Finally all tires are delivered, turns out they actually needed all new ones because the load rating was different, then took 3 hours to install my tires when I had an appointment. Costco tires aren’t any cheaper or better than tire shops, so save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

Air pressure machine was so easy to use! You put in the PSI and it automatically adds that amount of air. Any Costco member can use it :) thank you Costco!

Honestly, the line moved sooo slowly — the printer stopped working, couldn’t find one guy’s tires, etc etc… it was remarkably slow. I was just there to quickly get my deposit on old battery and I had to wait over 20 minutes

I didn’t think that the poor attitudes of service workers would ever infiltrate Costco but it has creeped in at the tire center. Costco is by far my favorite place to shop. I’m there a couple of times a week and I always get the max bonus from my executive plan. But the attitude that comes with the communication from the tire center has to stop.

Sell warranty and don’t honor it is their secret to success. Got a nail in your tire? They will take 2-3 hours to fix it but really they’re not, they’re gonna sell you a new tire, slow and unethical.

Great, honest experience with them. No hassle, friendly guys, in and out in 1.5 hours for a set of four new tires (at a great price) and the warranty is fire. My recommendation- if you’re a walk-in, show up EARLY. If not, make an appointment. They’re busy, and they do the best they can. You’d be busy too if you offered what Costco does! Have some patience and give the employees some grace.

I ordered two tires from Costco online. From the factory my car uses bigger tires in the back than in the front. When the tires finally arrived after two weeks they said the couldn't get me an appointment for several days to do the install. When I showed up for my appointment the manager had terrible customer service and a short mans syndrome, he was extremely rude. He tried to force me to buy two more tires or they would not install the rear tires, even though the front tires were still new and a totally different size than the rear. I pre-paid for the tires and installation, so I asked them to refund the installation and give me the tires so I could have them installed somewhere else. They said if I take the tires they would refuse to honor the 50,000 mile factory warranty on the tires. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE!!! THEY ARE JERKS AND SCAMMERS!!!

I wish I could give them zero stars. I ordered basic tires for my Nissan in December and was given a two week turn around. When I called to confirm if they had the tires, you cannot get ahold of anyone in the department. After hours of trying, I was told that the tires would be in the following Monday (I called on a Friday). On Monday I received an email confirmation that my tires arrived and called to schedule an appointment to get the tires on my car when Julio (who was extremely unprofessional) told me they actually did not have the tires and I would have to make a new order even though they already charged me $590 for these tires. My boyfriend called in and was told by Garland that he needed to investigate further on what happened to the tires and we are still pending a response. I'm assuming they gave the tires to a walk in. NEVER GET YOUR TIRES HERE THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!

My car entered the Tire Center with a flat tire and 4 hubcaps, and it exited with a fixed tire but only 3 hubcaps. They refused to acknowledge that they lost/broke the missing hubcap and didn't refund it. Sloppy and unprofessional!

My kids were on their way back to Fargo with 2 cars yesterday evening. One car blew a tire, the other car had a flat outside of San Diego. I called this Costco shortly before 7pm, told them the situation and they said they would help if they could. One hour before closing, they made time and took care of both vehicles and got them out and back on the road the same evening. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you taking care of them, thank you so much!

RUINED MY WHEEL-Be sure to take before and after photos of your vehicle/wheels when you bring it in--I purchased 4 tires here on July and had put less than 1,000 miles on them when I got a nail in one of the tires which could not be patched. I took it back on 10/21/23 and the gentleman working graciously agreed to replace the tire for free rather than charging the prorated difference based on the treadwear I already used under the warranty. They ordered the tire and I returned today (10/27/23). A different person assisted me and when I told him the other employee previously agreed to replace the tire he had an attitude and seemed reluctant to honor the offer stating I should have to pay ~$60 because of the tread I used, but he saw that the employee ordered it based on 0% treadwear used as he said he would. Ultimately he agreed and they did not charge me for the tire. 30 minutes later the tire is on and there is some odd residue and black marks that wont come off. There is also a large chip on one of the spokes. The tires had no prior damage. See photos for before and after. I hope Costco will make this right.

Starting with the good: you can get very highly rated tires at a relatively good price. The price is similar to what you pay outside for lower speed rating tires. That's where the good things end. From there it is downhill. This is a summary of 10+ years of experience: - you have to wait a long time to get specific tires shipped. A couple of weeks is long on a spare tire. - you have to schedule the install, and they are always busy. Sometimes, they miss calling you about your tire arrival. Check your email and their websiteS. Yes, there is a separate website for reservations. - if you're late a few minutes, they are sometimes rude and try to push you out. If you insist to stay in-line, you will get through with a bit of delay. They are more rude when they are more busy. - they play every trick to avoid warranty. Uneven wear "prevents" them from rotating. No rotation often "voids" their warranty. It's too close to the limit. One of the tires is "bald" on one side. I had to bring my own measurement tool once to disagree. - Hole too big to fix. - You have to change all 4 tires. - during covid, i didn't drive much. The highly rated tires lasted only 20k when they should have lasted 60k. Then all the exceptions above apply + installed long time ago. - one of my cars disappeared from their system. I will have to find the old paperwork... => in sum, if you want highly rated tires installed, this is the place to do it. =>After that, you're better off going elsewhere, even to continue the service on your "uneven" tires, and get some respect.

Costco tire center at Moreno Blvd is the best of customer service. Ed is the store manager. He is knowledgeable and very helpful. He went above and beyond to help me with my cars. And problem solved! Love Costco but their Tire Center needs more help. They need to hire more people or just have someone at the front desk and do nothing but customer service and or answer phones. They don’t answer phones and when they do, you’re on hold for at least 30 minutes. Their systems are outdated so you can’t order anything online, you have to go to the store which is another nightmare in itself.

Thank goodness I had taken photos of my wheels right before turning my car over to have all 4 tires replaced. The damage that they did to one of my wheels is taking forever to be settled. The customer service is basically non responsive . All this happened over 2 months ago and I am tired of calling every 2 weeks to get an update. Think twice about using this tire center.

The front desk staff was friendly, but his manager was clearly not happy that I brought my vehicle for a last-minute tire patching service. He said the tire patching service cut off time is 6PM and I arrived at 6:09PM. After an hour waiting the manager called back and told me that there was a second small puncture in the tire which makes patching impossible, and the only option is to replace it. Also, he told me per Costco's policy I need to replace all 4 tires together. My tires have only 20K in them, so I don't want to replace all 4 tires. I asked if they could just patch the bigger hole temporarily so that I can still drive home that night (the leakage was quite big after they took out the nail). The manager refused, leaving me stranded at Costco's tire center. The damaged tire became completely flat after I drove out for just 2 miles. The next day I brought my car to a nearby Discount Tire, hoping to replace just that one tire. To my surprise the staff checked the tire and only found one puncture and the tire completely fixable. Now it's over one month, the patched tire still runs perfectly without any sign of leaking. My conclusion from my experience at Costco Tire center on 11/09 Thursday night is that either the manager for some reason just didn't want to help me fix the tire or the service team was not professional enough to identify and perform a simple tire patching work.
