I made an appointment for 3 to fix a flat. I brought my car at 3. At 5:00, my car hasn't been pulled into the shop. I griped, I was gone by 6pm. It should not take 3 hours to fit a flat when you MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. I have had many visits to Costco tire like this... I will never buy tires there again.

Poor communication and time expectations. Purchased one tire online, scheduled installation online, they call me, we move up the appointment to 2:30 the next day. My poor wife waits in store until 6:15 then finally asks them about it, come to find out it's been done for an hour. One tire should not take 3 to 4 hours, set your expectations low on how long it takes them to get it done and don't expect them to communicate with you when it's done.

Had an appointment set for 1:15pm to rotate some tires! I'm excited to get these tires rotated! I arrive 10 minutes early as I do for most things in life because I am a decent person and respect other people's time. I get a hotdog and my drink and sit and read my book. Life is pretty okay. I get carried away reading my book and look at the time! OMG, it's 2:30pm! Surely my tires have been rotated and someone came and told me it was done while I was lost in my book. I rush to the counter to ask about my car only to find out they haven't done jack shit because they are behind and my car should be in the shop in 30 minutes. I have an appointment for a reason! To respect my time and the tire centers time. If this is constantly happening, which it is according to the other reviews, someone's job should be on the line. Don't make your customers sit for hours wondering what is happening with their vehicle with not a word from your people. Get your shit together.

Been here a couple of times. Tire quality is great, as is the case for any Costco product. Service was very incompetent; long wait times to talk to an employee in person or over the phone. They also told me a tire install would be done within an hour, ended up being the entire afternoon and they didn't call me when it was finished, I had to call in to check. Quick tip: if you ever need a plugged tire patched here, pull the plug out before bringing the tire in, or the warranty will be voided. Go to the Omaha Costco Tire Centers, their reviews speak for themselves.

Quoted that a tire rotation/balance would take 60-90 minutes. 3 hours later it is "almost done." Ridiculous. Why make people reserve a time, then absolutely do nothing to ensure that time is respected? Good Lord.

My husband, our two dogs and myself were passing through on our way to California and got a flat tire. Bob at Costco Tire Center was able to get our speciality tires ordered and put on within 24 hours! He was swamped every time we talked to him but handled everything with such a GREAT attitude. We really appreciate Bob’s efforts to get us back on the road ASAP and we are thankful for his urgency and excellent customer service. Thanks Bob!

One advantage to a Costco tire purchase, is getting your tires rotated and balanced for free. However, how much is your time worth? In my last three visits to Costco in Lincoln, NE, it takes 2 hours rotate the tires (I was quoted 1- 1.25 hr). I am approaching 2.25 hours now, and the job is not complete. These guys and gals work hard, and I’m sure they’re good at what they do, I guess they just take on more than they can handle. Or, is holding me hostage at Costco simply another way to boost sales and other areas???? My next set of tires will definitely NOT come from Costco.

I always recommended costco for tires because the LaVista location saved my butt a few years ago by putting a new tire on for me 15 mins before they closed and I was EXTREMELY grateful for that. But after spending 4 hours at the Lincoln tire center today I don't think I will ever recommend them again. The technician had issues with my rim (which is fine and understandable - it's a 15 year old car) so she called me and explained the situation and stated she was going to put the spare on and call me again when it was ready to go. Great! Well 2 hours go by and I still hadn't heard so I go up to the desk to ask if my vehicle was done. The gentleman at the desk went and got my key. The time on the paperwork for "time out" was 12:19pm. I asked if my vehicle was ready at 2:00pm. That means my car was done for an hour and 41 mins and no one told me. I will not be using this tire center again.
