Worst customer service ever. It took me 3 days to finally get them to answer their phone calls, many attempts, no answers and a really long wait time to finally speak to someone. I had questions before purchasing online and then there was no appointments available for 2 weeks. I decided to walk in when I asked if I could and they told me 5 hours and they would give me a call once ready. Dropped off around 12 and waited till 5 to call and they said it was ready. No idea how long it was ready for. And Mathew was very rude when I dropped off my truck, kept cutting me off and once he took my keys he didn’t even say anything just turned around and walked away. The price was pretty good but not sure it’s worth it for sacrificing time and service. Their system needs work

Is it possible to give zero stars??? The Katy Costco tire center is a joke. Had an appointment for installation of new tires and after 2 hours they haven’t even taken the car back! Why even have an appointment!?!? This has happened more than once. Go somewhere else!!!

We had a great service done here, although it did take a bit longer than what they said initially. When the car was ready, Santiago (the staff that returned my car), went way beyond his job to help me since I had a baby and groceries with me. He pulled out my car, put my groceries in the trunk, and took the cart back to the store. Thank you again, Santiago! You were a great helper!

Worst customer service ever…I made the appointment and they still took longer than 2hrs just to install 4 tires. The guys in the back just sitting around do nothing….The guy at the front desk has the worst attitude. Never buy tires from these guys again.

Avoid this place!!! A simple nail in my tire. Going on 3 hours and they finally pulled it in to the shop. When I asked how much longer, the tech rudely replied “ however long it takes”. “Probably another hour. “. He was not rude to the male customer that asked the same question. We bought our tires here for their road hazard warranty. Never again!!! Discount tire will have my business in the future. Understaffed. Two people show up and two go to lunch so still understaffed.

Costco Katy called me when my online order for tires came in. They even got me in same day. I told the employee in advance that I cannot exceed a 90 minute wait for the appointment. They got me out in 60 minutes. If you are upfront with them, I think you will have a better experience.

Not sure what's the purpose of getting apportionment here. They can't get you in if your are 15 min. Late for your apportionment but if you are on time. They will let you wait for 2 hours just to get tire rotation done. Really really disappointed with their service and rude attitude.

Prices are good, but that’s it. I’ve had 4 appointments here for installation and tire rotations. It’s minimum one hour up to 2 hours. Average 1.5 hours just to rotate tires. A simple nail in tire with a slow leak of about 7 PSI every two weeks, they refuse to put the tire back on and insist on a donut instead. Save your time and go to Discount Tire, or just about anywhere else.

They have no sense of customer service or time management at all. If they give you an appointment, add an additional hour to it. My appointment was at 5 pm but they didn’t start working on it until 6.45 pm. Besides, it’s impossible to get anyone on phone. Worst behavior of the people even at front desk. I don’t want to name anyone as they’re earning their living from here but at least respect your work.

Completely disorganized making the tire replacement too slow. I step in at 11.30 I went out at 2.30. There is no efficient system for taking and return the car. No appointed person for that. The person at desk go and install a tire then another come and install another one and so on..no way.. I’ve worked in places where tires are replaced and wheel balanced in less than 30 min once car is lifted. Tires and prices are good

I had a highly disappointing experience at this tire center. The service was incredibly slow, and the staff demonstrated a lack of professionalism and poor customer service. The overall attitude towards customers was unsatisfactory. I would not recommend this place based on my negative encounter.

Stay away from Costco tires. Their warranty is a joke even though they advertise that it’s covered in price, it’s not. I had incident on same tire twice and second time they said “you have already claimed the warranty once so we can only give you $30 credit” The tires had only 2k miles on it and I paid $160 for it. And don’t even talk about out their customer service. Rude and unprofessional staff at the counter. Service is slow, it’s takes a whole day for any service. I hope I don’t have to deal with them again.

The Katy Costco Tire Center restored my faith in having my tires serviced at Costco. Jeremy specifically, took his time and explained his findings. Based on what he found, the service I received on Tuesday (of the same week), from another Costco tire center, was not up to standards. I left with a better understanding of how my tires operate and for that I am grateful. I will only be servicing my tires here moving forward.

Do yourself a favor and go to Discount Tire. Bought tires from Costco online. When the tires arrived they called me to set an appointment. When my wife showed up to have the tires installed they told her it would be between a 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait. I called and told them that long of a wait is not acceptable when you have an appointment. They claim that's how long it takes even with an appointment. Horrible customer service

Horible service. Appointments mean nothing hear. Told the guy that I didn't want to wait two hours with an appointment and he got rude with me. Other customers there said they had been waiting several hours.

It takes them more than 2 hours to change and install new tires even with appointment. Disappointed. Not recommended for tire purchase and service.

easy in and out in less than 1hr. scheduling an appt was at least a week out. not incredibly convenient. Costco was not the lowest price, but pretty close to it. my tire pressure was different in all 4 tires, so will have to correct. I would buy again though.
