Costco Tire Center

Both times I have used the tire center there have been issues the first time they "forgot" to add air to the tires. The second time they sold me defective tires. UPDATE - Turns out they added 10 and 23 weights to wheels on the right side and there are only 0,4 on the left side. I am not an expert but this seems like the source of the vibration. Final Update - After 5 trips they identified that they put on 2 defective tires. Problem is I had to get a different brand and ended up paying an extra 120 dollars to not get the tires I wanted and wasting 20 hours of time between all the trips. I will not be back to this location for tires and don't recommend anyone but from them

I worked with Kyle today in the tire center, and it was a great experience. He was patient even though I changed the decision on what tires we were using halfway through the process. He was professional, honest and very easy to work with. I appreciate him and look forward to working with, the Costco tire center in the future because of him

Best deal! Called COSTCO the same day and got two tires! Screw you Walmart go ahead and order those 4 tires! I only needed two!

I am a huge costco fan, so when I had a flat tire I decided to wait until the Michelin sale started to have them replaced. I order the Crossclimate 2 and scheduled my appointment as soon as I woke up the day the sale started. Five days later costco canceled my order with nothing more than an email notification. After realizing this I called the store, nothing they could do. My wife and I had been down a car for 3 weeks waiting for the sale, shipping, and installation. Called Tire Discounters and they had the same tires installed the next day for a little more money. But they were helpful on the phone and installation comes with an alignment. Needless to say I will not be using the costco tired center again. Tire Discounters all the way.

It took me two weeks to schedule an appointment. I think the people were friendly, but their center is likely short staffed, which is why no one can answer the phone. I am giving a 1 star because after my appointment, I noticed that my steering wheel was shaking after the tire rotation and "balance" service I received. I brought my vehicle to a different Costco and they corrected the balance. All wheels were off by 1 gram, which is very significant. If something is written on your invoice, it should be safe to assume that was completed. I didn't have time to come in for them to correct things, but this was not safe had I no knowledge on tires. Lastly, one of my lug nuts was still loose, so do your check to make sure everything is okay.

love Costco... But their tire center is not good... We bought tires for my wife's truck there and she has complained about the time it takes to get her tires rotated - being a good husband, I kind of ignored or discounted what she was saying - I could not believe that it actually took a hour to 2 hours for a rotation. But, this is my experience, we scheduled her tires rotation for 5 and my new tire installation for 5:30 figuring that her truck would be done and we could use to to drive to dinner. That is not how it worked out - her rotation took until 6:30. My new tires took 5:30 until 7:15 (they said less than 90 minutes). When we got into the wife's truck all the tire pressures were different almost 10 PSI from high to low - when we pointed it out the manager was rude - I think Costco is a great place to buy a gallon of mustard but my experience says that tires should be left up to professionals and their staff is clearly not professionals... There are a lot of tire places that can get a rotation done more time efficiently and 2 hours to get tires changed is ridiculous...

I been going there for about 2 years now. Get my tires rotated every 8000 miles. Haven't had any problems. Got a Honda crv. Were going to get my wife tires in about a week. Nothing really special about the place.

Made an appointment and was told that our services would take an hour to an hour and a half and we would get a phone call update in 20 minutes. I waited for an hour and still no phone call and went back up to the front desk and my car was still not looked at. Asked one of the technicians for an update and he rudely shooed me away.

I ordered tires and have called multiple times to schedule a time to have my tired mounted and nobody answers the phone. I will just have to keep calling. Edit: Turns out scheduling an appointment is a waste of time. It is a first come first serve even if you have an "aptment".

Meh....With an appointment, it took 2.5 hours to complete a 4 wheel balance and rotation. With a report stating every obvious imperfection on my vehicle from small scratches to dents; Without a single comment on how out of spec my balance was or on which tire.

Staff was very helpful and gave me multiple quotes to choose from. Shop is sometimes very busy though. Walk-ins can be hit or miss for long wait times.

The tire center has a open door from both ouside and inside the costo whole sale. Good deals on tires compared to other tire retailers. Free services are given if we buy tires in costco. Appointments are recommended. Expect a wait for tire services.

Tires are great. Absolutely no issues. Terrible service. I called multiple times no answer. I had an issue where they messed up my lug nuts and put in a complaint and was told I would be called next day. It’s been a week. I called again with no answer on the phone. Best part is I called the same Costco’s administration and they said they were open with someone at the desk. Not happy and they cost me another $30 to replace a new stud because of their stupidity.

Was told the appointment would take 1.5 hours and it took almost 3 hours. No acknowledgement or apology that it took almost double the originally-expected time. If you're super busy, don't quote 1.5 hours. AND they didn't feel the need to call me when my car was done, I had to check in with the counter to discover it was ready to go. Incredibly frustrating, would not recommend unless you enjoy wasting your precious free time.

I absolutely have no complaints on the product, but on the service and customer handling. They test your patience to the core. In such a big store like Costco, There is only one person at the counter who handles everything, i.e., explaining the quote, checking the inventory for availability (employee physically checks for availability roaming around garage everytime), handling queries and getting the payment done. So it takes minimum 30-45 minutes per customer. And the servicing wait period is around 3-4 hours during peak time.

The desk seems like it's always under-staffed, which usually corresponds with a long time waiting in line - but that's not the technicians faults. The service itself is great. Couldn't be simpler to order your tires offline. The techs call you once they're in, and you set up an appointment from there. Pretty straightforward. People will always find something to complain about, but the service + extras your getting here is definitely worth standing in a line for a bit. 3 hour job time was accurate, and the tire installation went smooth. No issues here.

Why have an appointment for tire rotation...a 20 minute job and be told it would take 90 minutes. That means you must wait an hour or more before they get to your car. The appointment time is therefore a fraud.
