Jake*, Spencer & Matt went above and beyond my wildest expectations. This time of year, is stressful due to everybody and their dogs putting new winter tires on their vehicles at the same time! There were a couple of hiccups along the way but how they worked everything out made it seem like they strive to be the best customer service in town. Thank you, Costco Tire Center!

Pretty miserable experience as a customer. Bought tires on Costco.com, which said they would arrive within a week and that I should schedule an appointment. Tried to do that, earliest appointment is a month and a half out. Ironic, because the delivery email warned me that if I didn’t get them installed in two weeks they would return them? Anyway, that’s too long, my vehicle is on a spare right now… I tried calling them, they never answer the phone. Went in and asked them, they said my best hope is to be in line before they open. Did that, they only took two walk ins for the whole day, and I was third, even though I was there 30 minutes before they opened. Going to try again tomorrow. Don’t buy tires from Costco unless your time has a value approaching zero. I’ve wasted hours on this, all to save a couple hundred dollars, and a future of wasted time if I need a flat repaired, rotated, etc. They clearly don’t take tire service seriously as a company, because they are willing to subject their customers to such a ridiculous experience by not having enough capacity to delivery an acceptable level of service.

Definitely not all it's cracked up to be... the website says "buy from us and get a 5 year coverage for rotations, air fill, so on." I purchased, went to make my appointment and they didn't accept online booking. Tried calling for about a week, no one picked up. Finally went in and had to stand in line for about 20 minutes just to get my appointment scheduled. They were booked out for months but got me in. The day of my appointment, it took 23 minutes (yes, we counted) to finally be helped. I received no text or alert that my car was finished. Their prices are not competitive enough to justify the amount of time and hassle that this process became. I only purchased for the services it came with and now I know I will never be using those since it's impossible to get an appointment. I suggest bringing the people you have trying to sell credit cards or phones over to this department that desperately needs people.

Ordered tires online and made an appointment to get them installed. They should have a separate line to drop off, or make an announcement that people with appointments can just come up since it’s faster. I stood in line for 25 minutes because people in line said they had appointments. Which was not true at all. So when I finally got to the front they seemed annoyed that I was late at that point. They should also have designated parking for tire center customers, but drop off for appointments could be smoother. Otherwise, it went well. Took a little over an hour for installation.

I am highly disappointed, I had an appointment to get my seasonal tire change done for over a month. Make it to my appointment and they tell me they can’t do it. Reasons being, I didn’t buy either set of tires from Costco, and/or I am not buying a new set of tires/wheels. I am pretty puzzled at this because I made this appointment months in advanced, I scheduled online and never did it warn me of this requirement. What irks me is I am a member of Costco, even if I didn’t buy the tires at Costco I should be able to use this service. Next I was told even if they could do it I would have to wait over 2 hours for them to finish even though AGAIN I scheduled an appointment over a month prior. The gentlemen that broke this news to me was very nice and respectful and that is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. I am now at square one and have to figure out a new plan to get my seasonal tire change done. Very disappointed Costco. I might get lucky to find a place in the next 2-4 weeks.

Staff is always very friendly. They’re just so busy. Plan to leave your car there for a few hours even with an appointment.

Always great quick service. The extra bonuses you get when you buy your tires here are so nice. Had a leak and it was fixed up no problem.

First and last time time using a Costco tire center. Despite having the first appointment of the day and being told new tire replacement would only take an hour, sat there nearly 2.5 hours for the service to be completed with only vague explanations on what the delay was. Such a long wait time negates any benefit from doing it while you shop at Costco, and the saving benefits were marginal compared to other tire service centers. Better to just use Les Schwabs.

Had to cancel my appt because I caught the flu. Tried five or six times and they never answered the phone. So either short-staffed or poor customer service. They have always been pretty good in person, though…..

I had been unable to get to the tire center by phone for a week to make an appointment. My computor had not been working till now, .I called costco admin.number. Terry answered the phone and went down to the tire center to make an appt for me. She called me back and i'm all set.THANK YOU TERRY!

I have a slowly leaking tire. I go to the Costco Tire Center in Bozeman, MT. where I purchased the tires under Costco’s 5-year road hazard warranty two years and about 20,000 miles earlier. They refuse to accept “walk-ins” and I am offered an appointment 5 weeks out, obviously, I can’t live with a damaged tire for 5 weeks. I am told to come back before the 10AM opening time and try for a repair then. I arrive at 9:30, the second in line. The manager announces to the crowd behind me that they are taking only 2 walk-ins (warranty repairs) and send everyone else away. I am told it could take all day before they get to it – message: we only do enough warranty work to avoid being accused of selling phony warranties. If you do use the warranty, we will “make you pay” by holding you here all day. Six hours later I am told the sidewall is damaged and they must replace all 4 tires because it is an all-wheel drive car. They charge me $390 for my “warranty”, a big profit margin for them. I never see the damage to my tire and I never see my original tires with 50,000 miles remaining (more profit margin for someone).

I left my battery outside due to my arthritis and the heat. The man wouldn't go through his garage to get it and made me walk around the outside of the building. Might as well have bought it online as human as that guy was.

Pretty good service once you get an appointment or walk in to ask a question. However, appointments are often months out and you do have to walk in to ask the most simple question because it is really hard to get to anyone on the phone. Update Oct 3: Again, trying to return a call to arrange work. It is impossible to get through and the mailbox is full. I will have to drive to Costco to simply talk to a person and then drive back again to pick up my vehicle.

My wife and I want to personally thank Riley Linihan, Jackson Rogers, and Keinan Gaylor for their assistance with our vehicle on 1/29/23. We were in a pinch with our tires being damaged, and we needed to get home. All three of these people in your tire department were professional and extremely helpful in getting our tires repaired so we could get home early on a Sunday. We can't thank you enough for all you did for us, Keinan, Riley, and Jackson!

Scheduled an appointment for a mount and balance. Dropped keys off. 90 minutes later I received a phone call from the tire shop stating they will not mount and balance my tires because the tires were not purchased at Costco. This employee was extremely rude and unprofessional. He essentially was blaming me for wasting his time even though it was my time that was wasted. At no point did any person at the tire shop tell me this would be an issue. Waited 3 weeks for this appointment. And then 90 minutes after I dropped the keys off, for them to rudely deliver this information. And now every other tire store is 2-3 weeks out on appointments. Who's time was wasted?? This sort of behavior should not be tolerated at Costco.

A one hour service turned into two exactly with no explanation. Manager decided upon himself to only top off the tires with nitrogen even though I asked to do the full conversion because he assumed since I bought the tires there two years ago they would still have nitrogen in them, but only I knew they didn’t. Of course they don’t tell you this until you question them.. Does nitrogen cost you too much, take too much time?? I think it’s pure laziness. Watch out they obviously like to cut corners. Went back on 8/16 for just a balance service. The place was dead with one person needing a tire repair before. Was told it should take less than an hour especially just for a balance. Took 1.5 hours. Love standing outside with a cart of groceries waiting.. I think I’ve learned that whatever services you get with your tire purchase just isn’t worth it with Costco. Too busy, too many rules and exceptions.

Service was fast employees were friendly... they will do their best to accept walk in ...except when snow starts so be there during fall to avoid the rush ...
