Horrible staff charge higher after was quoted a lower price . Heard staff call customer a racial slur. Horrible experience

Workers are obviously not on the same page about pricing. They assumed a customer didn't speak Spanish so started calling him racial slurs. The management was no better. He did apologize his employee gave him a wrong price but didn't honor the price his employee gave and quoted a higher price. Then he got mad at the customer for wanting to take business else where. Your employees are uninformed, rude, and got put in their places for trying to call out a customer. I would not recommend this place to anyone including my worse enemy. And I hope this goes further up for the unprofessionalism in your environment.

Cortez's Tire Shop was referred to me when I was at Calderon's Tires in San Jose. I was complaining about how expensive it was, that they wanted to charge for 4 tire installation. A gentleman overheard my rant, and said to me, "excuse me sir, go to Cortez's down the street". At first I thought he was B.S'ing me. When I got there, it was kind of a whole in the wall, very small grimmy place. I didn't let the looks of the establishment bother me too much. I was approached by "Jose". In the end, they gave me an amazing deal on a set of tires, balanced & installed, $50 cheaper than Calderon's. I went back months later. I had an accident and smashed my front right fender and wheel of my car. I asked them if they can replace the tire and put it on my new rim, since the original one was damaged. They asked me if I wanted the mechanical repairs done as well to the car. I had no idea they did that kind of work. So they fixed the Lower control arm, the CV Axle, and the linkage to the right wheel. I simply brought them the parts, and they fixed it,,,for so cheap! I couldn't believe what an amazing job they did, that very day. When I picked it up, they asked me if I wanted the body work done as well, (they must have seen my new parts in the back seat.) I said "You do that here?" Jose said "yes". So they installed the new parts I purchased on Ebay auto, and fixed the auto body as well, for sooooo cheap. The very next day I picked it up, and observed the craftsmanship work they had done. It was beautiful!! I was in awe of how good they did the work...from the tire, to the mechanical fixing of the wheel

I definitely recommend this place, I came here for their auto care cause my car was overheating, they took their time to explained to me what was happening even when they were about to close, the guys were really nice, professional and obviously they fixed my car.

I had an emergency tire blowout yesterday afternoon and luckily landed at Cortes Tire without having to call a tow truck. Sergio immediately greeted me and saw my desperate situation. The tire cracked right on the edge of the rim and was not repairable. Since I have uncommon 19" wheels, the tires need to be specially ordered, and the spare would most likely not get me the distance to SF. Sergio consulted with Joaquin without skipping a beat and quickly located two right-sized tires in their used inventory. They offered to replace the one-blown tire without selling me additional services. They could have easily told me I had to purchase the set, but to my surprise, they did not. With that honesty, I asked them about the other tire and had them replace another tire affected by the blowout even though it was still drivable. They helped me out of a desperate situation and replaced two wheels at an incredible price. I was in and out in 30 minutes and felt so cared for. Honestly, I will not hesitate to drive out of my way to use their services again. Thank you!

I had my tires replaced & had an alignment. The service was great, efficient & very affordable compared to other tire shop. I highly recommend this place & will definitely come back.👌

They don’t have the right size of my tires, so they recommended My car to replace front used tires with smaller size and getting alignment. Now I got to replace it again in another shop, because it shows flat tire sign on the screen when driving and odometer not right.
