I told them to replace a hood but the part they used was twice what they estimated. The labor was also more expensive than they estimated. They replaced a wiper that I told them not to replace and charged $115. It’s a $20 part and replacing it involves turning a wrench maybe 11 times. They might have had to open a box...who knows. Additionally they charged me $120 for a diagnostic scan and clearing trouble codes. I own a scan tool and I scanned it prior to dropping it off. There were no trouble codes...none. Typically insurance would pay for this. I won’t be. This is why insurance is more expensive than it should be.
