After purchasing some new Racecomp lowering springs, I soon realized I was in over my head with the installation procedure. Matt and his team got me scheduled just before the holidays, installed the springs, and properly aligned the car—all in the same day. The car is sitting pretty and feels so much better. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Collin and the team have always treated me well when taking care of my cars. I have brought both my Toyota and Lexus there for alignments and they have put me on schedule pretty quickly and the car rides smoother than it has ever been before. I can’t recommend Matt enough! I messaged him explaining my issue with fuel pressure drop at wot that had me stumped. He immediately responded and knew exactly what the cause was. He is extremely knowledgeable on modified Subaru’s and I can’t thank him enough for helping resolve my issue!

I just got my 2021 Crosstrek aligned after I installed lift springs and new struts and these guys were great. They started working on my Crosstrek within five minutes of arriving and simply asked me how it was running, to which I replied, "Great." When they gave me my keys back there wasn't any BS about needing new brakes, or high beam fluid, just handed me my keys, I paid, and I left. I also got to chat with Matt about maintaining my CVT and he was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back. So happy I don't have to deal with Crew's anymore.

Matt and his team were amazing! Ran into a few setbacks due to missing/bad parts but Matt was always communicating with me and when time came to pick up my car i could tell how dialed in Matt had gotten everything. Couldn’t be happier! Will definitely be back!

Best performance shop around. I have known Matt for over two years, he has got to be one of the most honest people I have ever met. Anytime I need one of my cars worked on, I don’t Mind making the 2.5 hour ride to Summerville, well worth it.

I brought my wrx in for a couple mod installs and dyno tune. The car ended up having some issues that I was unaware of, but Matt communicated all the issues to me and was able to get everything fixed up. Car drives amazing and I’ve had zero issues after almost 1,000 miles! Absolute top tier work. I highly recommend Matt and his guys!

I needed to get some lowering springs and wheels installed on my Mustang GT. Since my car has the MagneRide kit, I didn’t want to go to just any shop. After doing some research, I came across Collins Automotive & Performance. They had great reviews, so I decided to reach out via their quote page. Within a few minutes, the owner, Matt, contacted me. We set up a date for the installation. Unfortunately, the lowering kit package had one incorrect spring, but Matt handled everything, reaching out to the manufacturer to get the correct one sent to the shop. Once the job was completed, he also aligned the vehicle perfectly. The Mustang now drives sharply and smoothly. Thank you, Matt! I would rate the experience 10/10 and will recommend them to friends and family.

A late review but this a good place to take your car. Honesty, integrity and respect and maturity I got from these people when I brought my car when I had it. They care about you and your car. Communication is extremely excellent. This is the only shop I will bring my car if I’m going to get another in the future. Not a lot of people are serious in their business but this business it’s.

Awesome experience, brought my WRX in to get a tune and learn more about my car. Matt is extremely comfortable and knowledgeable with the WRX. Very responsive with communication. I called them to schedule an appointment for my S-10 pick up. They inform me they don't work on American automobiles, only foreign cars, but they did recommend a repair shop to take it to.

I'm so happy I chose Collins Automotive to install the IAG engine in my 2017 WRX! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by their professionalism and expertise. Moved recently to the Charleston area here in South Carolina and I thought for sure I would have to go some near by State to get my Evo worked on till I found Collins Automotive and Performance Shop. Was able to get maintenance and Dyno tuning done in no time. In my opinion the experience I had with this shop was literally 100 times better than STM in upstate NY and they are very well known, definitely a 10/10 shop, so to all Evo owners reading this, this is your go to shop 100%! Recently took my 2015 WRX STI to Matt for an updated tune to address some drivability issues. He was very prompt with correspondence and I was able to schedule within an expedited timeline. Fees and expectations were discussed and agreed upon beforehand. Matt was very professional and kept us updated throughout the process, even when he needed to keep it for an additional day due to something unforeseen with another vehicle. Very happy with the results when I picked up my car the following day; fixed essentially every issue I had with the prior tune. Would recommend and use for future tuning/dyno needs.

Matt did a fantastic job on the car. Had it taken in to drop the oil pan, change the fitment and do a full inspection, and it was out of the shop in one night. I will be taking my car back here for whatever it needs in the future for sure.

Matt did an excellent job with the tune and walnut blasting. He communicated with me throughout the whole process and finished everything quickly with no issues. The car feels absolutely amazing!! If you need your Subaru tuned he’s the go-to guy to get it done! My tuning results on my 2020 WRX were 289 WHP, 286 Torque.

Matt's passion for cars transcends "autophile". He personally purchases the types of cars he works on so he can explore how they are built, challenges and opportunities. Similar to a dealership, when you go to Matt and his team, you are putting your car in the hands of someone who has worked on the same model car several times before. When it comes to modifications or component replacements, Matt seems to care more about your car than you do, and will not let you make a decision you will regret later. I live in a city over two hours away, but will continue to bring my turbo cars here rather than anyone in Savannah.
