Easily the worst experience I’ve ever had at any car repair shop or dealership. I made an appointment for a diagnostic on my 2013 Toyota Prius at 0840, dropped my car off around 0835 and watched them park my car. I was told about 2 hours, so I leave and come Back at around 1030 and they said they were just taking a look at it now and it would probably be about 45 more minutes, i go around the corner and my car hasn’t moved. An hour later I go back in and they tell me 20 more minutes. At 1245 they finally have the problem, a broken battery control unit, $1100 nearly $800 for labor and it’ll take at least 4 hours. I agree because at this point my car needs this part to drive safe. I tell them I’ll just grab it in the morning to which point they said they said they’ll still give me a call letting me know it’s ready, never received the call. Called in the morning to which they transferred me to a voicemail of the employee that handled my car, 45 minutes later I call back and they inform me that the employee isn’t in today and that my car is ready. Overall easily the worst experience I’ve ever had with anyone working on my car. The only slight bright spot was throughout the whole experience Jacob was at least very friendly and let me borrow a phone charger. Other than that, it was horrible.

What’s happening America? The level of quality & care for the customer is already poor & consistently declining. Checked in, on time, for an 11am appointment. Just getting tires rotated, balanced and fuel injection serviced. Said it would be a 2-3 hour wait. No problem, my car needs serviced. Overbooked again? Devaluing customers time for the sake of a dollar. Service rep touched base at 1:48pm to inform me that it’ll be another hour! WTH! On a prior visit, I asked for a courtesy wash and was told it was down. Meanwhile, a dripping wet car pulled around where they staged my car. On another visit I asked for a courtesy wash and it simply wasn’t done when I got to my vehicle to leave. Getting more & more aggravated with this dealership! Good or bad, I suppose I need to leave a review for every visit moving forward.

The diagnostic fee is expensive, but it’s worth it for the quality they provide if you have a big or complicated issue. They helped diagnose a mistake another shop made and didn’t seem annoyed at all when I decided to have the other shop fix it instead of them (missing out on $1500+). It seems nearly impossible to find a reputable mechanic in Jax even with me receiving help/advice from many automotive enthusiasts I hang around, so I’ll likely be coming to the dealership for any major repairs from now on.

I checked in to my SCHEDULED appointment on time 3:20PM today and here is the events happened My assigned consultant didn’t show up(he might be off or busy so it is fine) One who came to check me in decided to take me to my previous consultant based on my requests services. Almost 15 minutes are over here. Chris checked me in and I decided to wait in the lobby. I waited patiently till 6PM while watching other customers who came after me picking up their cars one by one. Decided to check my real time status tracker- which is still showing final touches -in progress Chris was no where to seen since long time(I will not bother about it, if my business is taken care promptly) I was keep checking my status online every 5 minutes, no one was calling my name. Decided to talk to other available consultant, he could not find my paper in the completed basket Suddenly consultant in Chris cabin realized that she needs to take care of Chris customer and call me( it is not like she was handling customer back to back as I was watching her just sitting infront of her computer, not handling any customer, while I was waiting in lobby) It was almost 6:30 when she called my name I could see my car parked in ready for pick up area almost hour back(around 5pm), I decided to wait as status was showing finishing the service. It was 6:45PM almost when we came out after picking up car by ourself from pick up area No one seems to be co-ordinating each other, no status updates realtime. If employee is taking off or leaving early, back up employee seems to forgot the responsibilities No point of taking a scheduled appointment if I have to wait nearly 4 hours to get the servicing done I am definitely not coming back for this service and I won’t suggest this dealership for anyone

Called for quote for my 70,000 mile service on my Prius. Was given a quote of $174.00. Brought my vehicle in, was then notified that the fuel injectors weren't cleared out during the previous visit. I then approved the new charge for a total of $374.00. When I was called that my vehicle was ready for pick up the price for the service magically totaled $426.75. A total of $252.75 more than I was initially quoted. Bad practice. Customer beware.

Great service department, real parts department, not pushy when purchasing a new truck. The fact that I bought a new truck, got all service done on my last 2 Tacomas, and buy all of my parts and tires here says it all for me. Best Toyota dealership I've done business with.

Darius was wonderful. He gave an accurate time estimate for service requested. I opted to have one item replaced with another person, but he referred me to the customer parts shop. This resulted in a sale versus me purchasing the part online. All Toyota owners should use the Avenues location if dealership is preferred.

Even my buying experience here was awful, got an okay car but after driving it for a while it doesn’t have half the features I was originally looking for. Every single time I bring my car in for service there is some sort of issue whether it’s from the rude people who schedule appointments to the people who give out rental cars . February 23rd I called to schedule an appointment and I always request a loaner vehicle for my service, they told me to just check on loaners when I got there for my appointment. February 24th I come in for my appointment and there is confusion on whether or not I told my advisor I want a loaner, which I literally get every time I come in for service. I, as a paying customer SHOULDNT have to battle with someone to leave my car, get a service rental and be on my way. This is not the first, second nor third issue I’ve had with the service department and it is not something I want to continue dealing with. Arlington Toyota is gaining a customer because Coggin Toyota is lacking in every single way from their sales staff to the rude people they have providing loaner vehicles.

I had an excellent service experience with Danny Schuur at Coggin Toyota! This might be the best Toyota service location that I have ever worked with! Danny was friendly, communicative, and responsive... and the service was fast & top-notch! I brought in my 2010 Toyota Prius on Thursday at 9am for one repair that I knew of, and they found several other urgent items that needed to be repaired as well! Everything was completed quickly — 24 hours later on Friday at 9am! And I was able to get a rental car on-site as well! Highly recommend.

Chris was a good service rep, but I was not thrilled that he was filling out forms while I stood in front of his desk waiting (VERY UNCOOL). That seems like something he could do after he did my intake or out-take processing or the person in front of me. In addition, I was not happy with the fact that you guys had my RAV4 for nearly 24 hours, said that my service was completed and when Chris brought my car around [after a rotation and balance] the low pressure warning light was on. He took care of it before I left but you had just completed tire related maintenance, I would HOPE that checking the pressure would be an integral part of ANY maintenance involving the tires.

I made an online appointment 2 weeks ago for an oil change. When I arrived for my “appointment” I was told that it could take up to TWO HOURS to complete. What point is there to an appointment? If you have an appointment they should take you at the designated time. I decided to leave. I’m not saying that they do poor work but they do a lot of upselling. Coggin Toyota, you have lost my business.

Service was terrible. When I arrived for my appointment, it was very chaotic and no one came out to help so I then proceeded inside. They told me I would have to wait 3 hours before they get to my vehicle. I asked for an explanation as to why they would make so many appointments at the same time and they told me, that's the way it is. The service representative and the manager couldn't care less. I will NEVER go back to this dealership for service or ever buy another vehicle from them. I see no reason to buy a vehicle from a dealership if they couldn't care less about their service. This was the WORST experience I ever had at a dealership service dept. I then left the dealership and called Arlington Toyota and they gave my an appointment the next day. They had my vehicle in and serviced in less than an hour. Service representative, Michael, was great. I will definitely go back to Arlington Toyota and will buy my next Toyota from them.

Very disappointed with the customer service experience at the service center. Scheduling, service advisor and service center desk staff need training. Even with an oil change appointment, I have been waiting more than 2 hours. When I asked for an update, I got the run around. The service center desk was not helpful. The lady running the desk thought it was more important to be confrontational the getting a manager liked I asked. And forget about using the real-time text link. What a joke. Find another service center, this place doesn’t deserve your business.

Went to Coggin Toyota for a Transmission Diagnosis. Spent $190. They never even checked the Transmission fluid/oil! They recommended a $6,000 complete Transmission Replacement. They neglected to tell me that they don't fix Transmissions, but only replace them. I wasted $190. I wasted 5 hours with 2 sleepy kids and a tired wife. I wasted one of my PTO days off of work since we live an hour away. Based on their whack approach and recommendation, I almost sold my car out of desperation. I then took my car to Cargo Transmission in Jacksonville, who didn't charge me a penny, they inspected the car and transmission for 3 days, and found nothing - they checked transmission oil and said the fluid and said it was perfect - no Transmission issues. My car is fine. I called Coggin for a refund for an incomplete search and whack Diagnosis. They said there is nothing they can do, but that I can bring my car back in!! LOL. Coggin Toyota - we won't ever see you again. Cargo Transmission - you are a God-send, honest, and a blessing. Thank you.
