I was having problems with my Chevy and brought it to a Chevy dealership where they tried to charge me $4000. After calling a few local mechanics, they were able to quote me about $1200 for the same repairs. I brought it in immediately to Clark's, and they had it fixed in less than 24 hours and informed me that much of the services the dealership was trying to sell me were unnecessary. They took the time to explain to me exactly what was wrong, and they ended up saving me $3600 compared to the dealership's services. I would highly recommend taking your car here if you are worried about costs. Thanks again.

I was thoroughly cussed out by one of the employees. No way to speak to anyone, let alone a female. Nothing Christian about him. Could have been the owner for all I know. Enough to NEVER take my vehicle there, or suggest anyone else does. People like this gives your business a bad name! DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I was recommended this place after our car overheated from Texas, Jimmy was such a big help very knowledgeable mind you the shopped closes early on Fridays and manage to get our car out before the shop close

Was asked to replace a stripped bolt on the tire. He told me to be there before 5:30 pm to drop off my car so I raced from work and got there by 5:20pm just for the shop to be closed. Then called again this morning at 7:30 to tell him what I wanted done and he still didn’t do it. I only realized after I had paid $25 for them just to put the tire back because he “forgot”. You’re better off using youtube than these “mechanics”

Employee was disrespectful and condescending. Stated they didn't care what other auto facility thought because they were morons and didn't want to go on a wild goose chase to find the problem. They do not take women seriously and think women don't know what they are talking about.

Jimmy was quiet helpful , knowledgeable, explained everything very well mind due I’m from out of state and my car was over heating & he took my car in even though he had limited time constraint and got me back on the road. Fair prices, would recommend checking this place out.

I can’t speak highly enough about Jimmy + Clark’s Auto Clinic. The customer service is top tier, the prices are affordable, and quality car care services is the best in the business. If you’re a woman who’s timid about vehicle repair businesses because let’s be honest, there are tons of real world horror stories about women have been taken advantage of. Trust me when I say, Clark’s Auto Clinic offer the utmost professionalism with overwhelming integrity. I’ve sent many female friends + family members to this shop because they’re trustworthy people!

If you ever get stranded in downtown Columbia at 6am with a ruptured heater core hose or for any reason, get yourself a tow to Clarks Auto Clinic! The Clark brothers and their team of technicians are fast, efficient, knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I left Greer, SC at 4am and at 6am just as I was leaving downtown Columbia, My 2014 suburban had smoke coming out from under the hood. As we sat in the downtown Columbia post office parking lot, I called every mobile mechanic on google and none were available. By 7am we called a tow company and started checking for shops that opened early as well as their google reviews. Clarks Auto Clinic opened at 7:30 and had the highest reviews and were only 3 minutes from where I was parked. Trust the reviews on this one! They are not wrong. We were towed to their shop a little before 9. They diagnosed the situation, had the parts ordered, the suburban fixed and had us back on the road to Florida by 11am! I would HIGHLY recommend this shop to any and everyone local and/or passing through town.

very professional and friendly! quick service. dropped off on my lunch break, came back for it after work, and the price was a very good deal and not over priced at all! super friendly (owner? i think) was very helpful. i will definitely keep bringing my car here! if you work in cola, this is perfect bc it’s right around the corner on sumter st!

First thing I noticed about the place is how busy it is. I took it in at 7:30 am and there was already five other vehicles being dropped off. Mr. Clark and the other mechanics work fast and efficiently on the vehicles. The price to fix my car was extremely good, best deal in town. This shop will have my business from now on. I will recommend this place to my friends and family if they need their car fixed in Columbia.

I've brought my car to Clark's a couple times and have been very pleased with the quality, value, timeliness, and kindness. Clark's has fixed my car quickly at a low price, and staff have thoroughly and patiently explained the necessary repairs to me. I live out of town but make sure to bring in my car if I'm visiting family.

Great experience. My car started miss-firing while I was taking my children to school and Clarke's was just around the corner. I had a general idea of what I thought was wrong. And it was exactly what I thought- he didn't try to overcharge me or add in a bunch of other things. Was very fair and honest. Also was very quick with no appt. Had several things done and went ahead and did a general tune up in addition to my problem and was only there for around 2 hours. Would definitely recommend

They get the job done asap! I had a problem with there credit/debit fees didn't know until after I paid how much I was paying in fees. Also they won't work on 90"s models cars anymore total bummer but I get it for the most part
