Being new to Columbia and not knowing reputable places to take my vehicle I found Christian Brothers Automotive to be just that. They were honest, kept me informed, explained what had to be done and what could wait on my vehicle. Their shuttle service was nice since I had no other getting back & forth to my location. We're a 2 car family, Toyota Tacoma and Lexus IS300. They have a comfortable waiting room. They communicate with you through text, wait times, estimates, progress. The prices are fair and reasonable. Most importantly, I feel like I can trust their recommendations. To me, that's the most important quality in an auto shop.

First call - the gentleman was very professional. He listen to my problem, They were able to help me. Was very honest about the service time. When we dropped the vehicle off. He explained the process. When they started working on the car we immediately received notifications.until the very end. There were no surprises with the work or cost for the work. Very pleased with their work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I got an estimate for repairing the air conditioner compressor. The compressor had broken on the inside and the system needed to be replaced. The bid came in at $2200. They also wanted to do other things that were not needed such as degrease the engine. I had the job done at another shop for 800 less.

I originally brought my car in because I was having some brake issues, nothing major.. it was shaking a little when I was braking. The diagnostic came back that I needed all new rotors, brake pads, a transmission fluid change, new wiper blades and a routine oil change. I went with everything they recommended because it’s my daily driver and a reliable car, have had no issues with it since I bought it. After picking up my car, it’s been squeaking and vibrating. I’ve brought it back in twice now, the first time.. they said someone didn’t tighten my lug nuts all the way. The second time because they said my tires needed to be adjusted. I’m still having the issue of vibrating when I’m driving and I honestly think that they didn’t even change my rotors. I don’t think this company is honest and I wish I never brought my car here. $1300 for my car to be in worse shape than when I brought it to them. My tire could have came off when they didn’t tighten them all the way, I could have lost my life because of their carelessness.

I will never forget the amazing way this group of men came together for me in a VERY stressful situation, and at the end of their day. My vehicle was on it's last leg, at the red light off Irmo Drive. I could not get in their parking lot, due to only 1 way in/out. But my alternator died. They didn't make me call a tow! My brother and the gentleman got my car to the lot, in the 5pm traffic.. if you know, you know! Best experience and happy to report, my vehicle is still going strong! Definitely gained a new Customer!

This was my first visit to CB automotive. What a great experience. I was greeted by a Service Writer who actually listened to my situation. I had an electric issue involving the airbag system. Electrical issues can be difficult to track down. I was quoted a price for diagnostics and assured that if the car needed to go to the dealer I would not be charged. The appointment was scheduled for 8:00 and that is when they began working on the vehicle. They texted me letting me know a master mechanic was looking at my car. In just about an hour the car was fixed and for the diagnostic fee as it did not need any parts. Every customer who came in while I waited was treated with respect and nobody left angry or disappointed. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had dealing with automotive repairs. Christian Brothers will be my mechanic shop going forward. They are quick, respectful, honest, friendly, helpful and professional. Give them a try!

2/2 5stars. The first time I came here was about 2 years ago when they first opened. They took care of some repairs that another shop butchered and they fixed it for a very good price including a warranty as well. Earlier this week, my brake line was damaged due to my exhaust hanger failing and it was moving around on top of the brake line and most likely caused the leak. (Which they discovered). They still honored that warranty and had me done within within 24 hrs with other vehicles ahead of mine. That was a huge help for me because this is my work vehicle and I work for myself. I really appreciate the quality of service here and I highly recommend this shop for your mechanical needs.

I have a 2014 Ford Raptor, they worked on my truck again. They did an oil change, rotated my tires, did an inspection of all major areas, and changed the transfercase fluid. And they did it for a great price and their customer service was 5 star all the way. I have already made an appointment to take my truck back next month for more service work. They will be my go to automotive shop from now on.

I took my car in for a free check and they went above and beyond that. My car was low on oil so they added a couple of quarts until I can schedule an oil change. Their waiting area was very comfortable and everything they did was exceptional and professional. Very happy customer.
