It was difficult to find a shop that could accommodate my repairs without being charged an arm and a leg. Then, I found Chippewa Tire. Dina was a hoot! Communicative, quick, and kind. The total price came out to less than a single service at a chain or dealership. Would definitely go again based on my positive first experience.

I love this place, we at McClay Signs have been going there for a while now. If they can't do it then Dena will recommend a good place to go. That is super helpful and they are very nice people!

When I picked up my wheel with a new tire, I had to put the wheel back on the car myself in their front lot. I was still charged a $30 balance fee. When I asked what the fee was for, I was told it was to mount the tire onto wheel. I have never been upcharged in this way in other places and feel like I kind of got ripped off a little bit. It's a shame. I want to like locally owned businesses.

I’ve been taking my cars here for over a decade for oil changes, leaks, and tire replacements. They’re always friendly, informative, fast, and fairly priced. As long as I’m in the area, they’ll have my business.

This place is the best! My slow leak turned into a flat. I called to see if they had time and because of a cancellation, they did and were able to fix my tire in 30 minutes. Completely lifesavers and very friendly, welcoming, up front, and communicative.

This is the only place I will bring my cars. Unlike every other shop, they have never once tried to upsell me. Excellent service at a very reasonable price. The owner Dina is easy to work with and I trust her judgement on any service my cars need.

I had a great experience at Chippewa Tire. I ran over a screw and had a flat, called Chippewa Tire and Dina was able to get me in within a day. I sat in the waiting room less than 10 minutes before the flat patched and I was out the door. I’ve never had such a pleasant experience at an auto shop and look forward to giving them my business in the future! Thanks Dina and team!

Today I did my second visit to Chippawa Tire after getting brakes a few months ago. This time Mitch helped me out. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are honest and so nice. They keep my 2015 Nissan Sentra going. My car is a good running car and I don't want to buy a new car.

Have had couple great experiences working with Chippewa Tire when I went 2 different times needing tires patched. The road in STL are littered with nails and debris. Saved me a ton of money by not having to get a new replacements and was in and out in no time on both occasions. Friendly customer service and was really affordable. One of the best tire shops in the STL area.

Call for an appointment, usually your vehicle is service in and out the same day of your appointment with details of the work and what you might need done to make sure your vehicle is up to state safety inspections if you didn't know.

Chippewa Tire is the go to! Fast, efficient, and she tells you exactly what they’re going to do and then exactly what they did. Dina (I think that’s the owners name???) is the absolute best. If they can’t get something done she’ll even recommend where to go where they can help. I highly recommend Chippewa Tire!

I called them in the morning looking for a tire because mine was completely flat from the cold. I called multiple places around downtown and it was a pretty messy experience. I called Chippewa Tire because I’ve heard of them through my dad. The front desk lady had an appointment for me the same day with the estimate (which is exactly what I paid), and the crew had me out so quick I thought, “No way it’s right.” Hand to god I can now drive on the highway without my wheel shaking. Please support this amazing business!

I gotta say, this might be the best auto shop I've found in St. Louis. There are some good ones (shoutout to Rich's in Gravois Park), but the folks at Chippewa Tire (specifically Deena) go above and beyond. They're prompt, extremely attentive to detail, very transparent. I think I've found my forever shop. You won't be disappointed!

I had a great experience here! The service was fast and friendly, and the price was very fair--$35 for an internal patch on a tire with a nail in it. I would definitely come again if needed, and recommend to others.

I love the lady that works here I think she took over for her dad when he passed away she has been nothing but amazing I would trust her more than I would some of these sales people from these big chain stores. I have purchased at least four sets of tires amongst other work to more than one vehicle and she is always been amazing it's a mom and pop shop for sure but it is the best mom and pop shop ever they've got it together their technicians do a good job I'm very proud of this lady she has taken this place and kept it going and she knows what she's doing she's dominating a man's world I trust her a lot I recommend her and anyone that is nervous about going to an auto shop do not be nervous when dealing with her she tells you the truth she does not BS and she's extremely honest I have not had an experience like dealing with her that's been this good in a long time she has me as a customer for as long as I'm in Tower Grove South.

I was able to get a used 205/60r16 tire for $66 out the door. I got a flat on a Sunday night. Columbus Day was the next day and it was difficult for me to find a place that was open and had what I needed at a price I could afford on the fly. They were open and they had what I needed so I could get back to work without spending a ton of money. They were fast and they picked up the phone when I called, unlike some other places. Almost every other place wanted to charge me $120+ for a new tire and no one else had a used one available. Thank you guys for being open, professional, fast, and affordable. I really appreciate it!

I've never been to a more honest and friendly tire place. I've been going into this business for 20 years or so. This place is definitely worth your time, and they won't rip you off. I will continue to go back.

When you see their parking lot empty and doesnt look busy, there a good reason . Bad reputation and service, Im a mechanic that only use them for alignment. Not every repair shop has a rack. They align the the car. The car goes out of alignment because an untightened bolt. They made an adjustment from there and left it at that. Figuring it’s my job to escort the town even though they would have to untighten it to move it also being a mechanic, they cannot possibly even claim that to be anything close to competent work, you do an alignment on the car and you don’t check that any of the parts are tight??? The owner lady at the front instantly went on the offensive. I’m not missing words when I say offensive other customers for sitting behind me. She promised a refund I’m waiting on that keeps failing to go through . I would’ve even paid to have them do this all over again just for time constraints. there are the only one with a alignment rack open for a little over a week. I wonder why the racks not just packed with cars .Go figure
