Chris worked on a Honda Odyssey my wife and I recently purchased, replacing some AC components and motor mounts. He did an excellent job on the service, getting me back on the road the same day. Chris was very transparent on the work he was doing as well as noted issues I knew existed based on how the van was driving. Also the fact that he comes to you is extremely helpful. I plan on coming back to Cevin again and again. I would highly recommend him based on his experience and character. Edit and Update: Lost touch with Chris and eventually I was never responded to earlier on the year. I had work paid for and not completed until this day. Last he mentioned he was going through tough times and I was willing to offer more work in exchange for more pay because he had been the most reliable mobile mechanic I’ve had, but never heard back from him.

Chris told me one price and then charged me more. And then missed putting a bolt in my valve cover gasket. If I could attach the picture of proof I would . It has caused more damage to my car. He refuses to compensate me at this time.

Today I was blessed with an amazing mechanic he comes to you, that’s a blessing. I drove to work this morning with my windows down it was humid outside. After work today I drove home with cold AC, he also fixed my oil leak, my car was ready before noon. I am very happy with Chris and his work, it’s hard to find someone you can trust. Great mechanic, great guy in all, his auto mechanic intellect is amazing , I was super stoked that he did the job in half the time that I thought it was gonna take, I’m just in wow. Highly recommend, very punctual. Again just a great dude. Will be using him again in my future auto repairs

Overall not a good experience. Was referred to Chris from a service rep from Vara Chevrolet. Diagnostic was $150 dollars and was a good fair price. Quoted me for labor and parts and we came to agreement. He did a good job keeping me updated on parts status, and gave me instructions to pick up parts when they came in. We had conflicting schedules and it took some time to schedule the work but that was not his fault. We were finally able to get a time and he came over to the house and worked on the vehicle for hours. There was some unforeseen complications, but overall the work was done. Everything seemed to work fine for about a couple of hours that but the same issue came back. I reached out and he mentioned he would come Thursday March 28th in the AM, he did not show up. But he does text that he will come the following day. Does not show up. I give it a couple days because he could have been busy, and I reach out. I still have not gotten any responses. Now my vehicle radiator fan is running at 100% non stop anytime I operate my vehicle. When I looked in the engine bay, I noticed some random bolts and prices not being connected. I looked at my radiator surge tank. And the bolts are missing from there as well. Just overall a bad experience. I did give 2 stars because he did the work as requested, but the issue is still occurring along with new issues.

Very satisfied with the work that Chris performed on my vehicle. He replaced my rack and pinion, tune up and cleaned my throttle body sensor. He met me at my place, and was very informative throughout the whole process. Excellent service and would highly recommend to anyone who needs great auto work performed on their vehicle.

Chris came and did work on my Kia Sorento he fixed my oil pan gasket and my valve cover gasket he did a great job and he is also very reliable and knowledgeable I will continue to use him as my mechanic and also recommend him to family and friends. And the fact he will travel to you is a plus for my highly recommend Cevin Auto Service.

Chris helped me a lot. Can’t thank him enough. My car alternator gave up, right when I was going tru some financial problems, he got me a brand new one for a good price and came to me since I couldn’t drive my car . I will definitely be using his services from now on .

I recently had a problem with prior shop messing over my truck costing thousands to repair which issues still occurred. Once I heard of this company I called spoke to Chris and he responded with hours. Arrived at my location and quickly diagnosed all the unresolved issues. I’m a Vietnam vet and my whole life people have been indifferent about my service. I have never expected any accolades for what I did. Chris came to install a water pump on my Plymouth. When he found out that I served, he refused to take my money. I’m at a loss for words at his kindness and generosity. Yesterday my car was vibrating on the road, so I freaked out. I immediately checked on Google where I should go right now, which mean I typed 'best auto mechanic near me' on the goolge search box. Then, Cevin Auto Services popped. I called the shop and took my car there. Chris explained and showed me what the problem caused. He ordered all the parts over the phone and started to literally, dissemble the car while we were waiting for the parts. And he started to repair/replace the parts right after the parts had delivered. He did Lower control arm replacement, Lower ball joints replacement, Spark plugs and ignition coils replacement, Sway bar links replacement, Rotors, pads and hardware for brake job, Struts replacement. Unbelievably he finished the job within 3 hours without any break. When he asked me to pay for his labor, honestly I was shocked because it was a bit high. But I was very gladly to pay because he spent his time wisely and efficiently and the job was done nicely. If I drop off my car at the dealership, it would take more than 1 week for this job done. Now I can tell his job was marvelous when I drive my car. Now I am very happy to know a REAL REAL skillful and knowledgeable mechanic. I definitely will come back when I need to repair the car.

Located in a family home and very quick/effective. I had an emergency and was able to call them to repair my 3rd cylinder same day for a reasonable price. My car is still driving well after 3 months! Update: I utilized their service again for a fuel pump replacement. They were very prompt and came to my location to get the repair done. Very fair price and excellent explanations as to what was going on with my car!
