While I was there I had great experiences, I've been there 2 times with great service from Jerry! There is a little bit of a wait but they get the job well done and don't overcharge.

Not sure where to begin with how awful of an experience I have had at this place. To start, the staff is extremly rude and unprofessional. They will constantly complain about how tired they are and how difficult their job is compared to everyone else. On top of having to hear them complain, they are one of the slowest MO inspection shops I have ever been to, with an average wait time of 90 minutes, way longer than the 47 minutes they will tell you on the phone. My biggest complaint is blatant overcharging and recommendation of repairs. While waiting, they tried to charge a college teen $474 to repair a third brake light housing on a 2007 Jeep. When he refused, saying he did not have that kind of money, they tried scaring him into the repair by mentioning the risk of being pulled over and ticketed. After waiting for about 75+ minutes, I was finally told my vehicle was ready and that I had failed both safety and enmissions due to a chip in my windshield and a leaky exhaust. This seemed rather suspicious, as I have had the vehicle inspected at multiple shops and was never made aware of these issues. Upon questioning the chip in the windshield as being fail-worthy, I was told by the manager that he could pull out the MO inspection book and to "look it up myself and that since it caught his fingernail when glossing over it, its bad." When stating that I would like to seek a second opinion, the manager became instantly hostile and told me that since he's the professional, I should not question his findings and rather simply pay for the repairs. My favorite and what pushed me to leave this review was seeing the tech, a younger white female, proceed to vape multiple times in my vehicle while waiting for her manager to sign off. This, in hindsight, should of been less surprising based off of the long wait times and overall lack of professionalism shown by the staff. I would not recommend this Car X location as their main focus is to get rich quick off of overcharging people with lesser car knowledge. For honest vehicle inspections, I would instead recommend a local shop with more respect for their customers and appreciation for the car industry.

The manager Jerry is the man!! I needed an emissions test asap. Everywhere else said next week sometime. I called to ask and Jerry got me in and out in 20 mins basically in the middle of his lunch break. Really appreciate it and will be back for sure. 🙏

Have come here for 4 oil changes total on my 2 cars over the last year and a half- quick, friendly, and very experiences every single time. Then to today, Zach the mechanic doing my oil change wanted to belittle me for “being over mileage” last one was at 15500, today at 20130, says that I need to bring it in every 3k until my car is over 75,000 miles. I told him the other mechanics at this shop have always said 5k, he claims they are wrong. Onto the handbook for my car that says 5-7500 with full synthetic, he told me don’t be surprised if the dealership fights me when something is wrong if I don’t do oil changes every 3k- how can they fight me when I’m doing as the manufacturer and dealership says in writing to do?? He told me since I’ve been doing 5k I need a special solution to clean out the oil, but then proceeded to tell me it looked fine and wasn’t bad because I’m lucky.. basically Zach tried to make some extra money on me and treat me differently because I’m a girl and he acted like I don’t know what I am doing , but you treating me like I’m stupid was actually negative on your end. I’ve never seen him here before and I will request Zach NOT work on my vehicle, even tho he said “make sure you bring it back to me”, if I decide to return to this location. Zach also left oily grimy hand prints ALL OVER my car, why did he even get in my backseat?? Couldn’t tell you, but he sure left his marks all over my vehicle and a negative experience for me today.

Stefan was very helpful with helping us pick out the tires we needed. He also said that our dog was more than welcome to wait with us in the lobby. They loved on our dog every chance they got. That! Just adds bonus points in my book.
