Glad I found your shop. One of the best in the city hands down very professional and welcoming. When they finished my vehicle and did a full check around the car. I can’t find a single dent that I address to them they fixed everything that I ask for. I am very satisfied and happy about the result. I met a few staff esp Lourdes who did the estimate and makes it happened and Nate that runs the shop very friendly people. I want to thank the people that actually did the work, you guys are awesome. I have been going to Sunset Auto Reconstruction back when Joe was the owner. Now that it has changed hands I am happy to say that the quality of work, customer service and overall experience hasn’t diminished. Lourdes and team does a great job setting fair expectations and working with the insurance companies to get your vehicle in working order.

CARSTAR provided amazing service for a recent repair on my Lincoln after I was rear ended. They were contracted with my insurance company, and worked seamlessly on getting the estimate approved, as well as additional charges once they took apart the car and found additional damage. They also coordinated with Enterprise to have me picked up for the rental car subsidized by the insurance. I received timely updates about the status of my repair - and they were even able to get it to me early, keeping in mind that I had a service (non collision service) scheduled at the dealer after this repair was completed. I would give them 6 stars if I could - friendly, expert and timely service.

very disappointed with my experience here i only went with them because of my insurance and the close proximity to my house a simple 3-5 day repair became a ongoing 3 week issue firstly there was a misunderstanding on my parts being ordered and it wasn't even placed until the day i brought my car in which was 2 weeks later so not sure why that happened. they will not admit to being at fault and owning up to the mistakes no further explanation on repair time because of ev vehicle mentioned in the beginning once the initial quoted repairs were fixed they found another problem. this became a multiple occurrence with problems keep coming up causing major delay. they are not clear with the reasoning behind additional service. i do not understand why all the issues were not found out all at once in the beginning. they only make up excuses to delay the issue without any proof i did not feel they handle this situation professionally because they mentioned about my rental car due date hinting they can take their time with the repair not knowing it is causing me additional out of pocket fee they lack serious communication (never call with updates) i have to be the one to call every time and follow up. they always speak to me in a condescending tone. the hours are non accommodating to people who don't work a monday to friday 9-5 job. they are closed everyday at 4:30 and not even open on the weekend?? how does this make sense i felt taken advantage of due to my race gender and age. with my lack of car knowledge they did not provide the support and assurance i needed. not once did i feel they showed any empathy. there was never an apology for the inconvenience if i could give 0 stars i would because they don't even deserve 1 star HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND be glad i am not naming names because (HE) continued to be rude and unprofessional until the very end of this whole situation.

As the result of an auto accident CARSTAR was recommended to have the repairs done. I am more than happy to say that when I did pick up my Volvo Sedan it looked brand new again. They provided excellent customer service, feedback was excellent very friendly and people oriented. Lourdes and Anthony were perfect. I would highly recommend any body work to be done there or any work that needs to be done as a result of an accident. CARSTAR would be the first that I would recommend and if I need any body work done not as the result of an accident I would definitely be taking my car back

Picked up my car today and while they did a good job with the repair it looks like they over sprayed some paint on my car. It’s not the same color as my car so idk if it’s from a different vehicle that was being painted or if it’s just the metallic coat. Luckily my car is ceramic coated and it came off with a bit of elbow grease but this easily could’ve ruined someone’s paint job. Regardless I don’t think I would recommend this shop to anyone due to this carelessness.

The team is great at Carstar. Everyone is kind and communicative and the team works fast. They had my car looking brand new in a matter of weeks after some pretty significant damage from a tree falling. My one complaint is that while their work is very good, attention to detail is lacking. I had to bring my car back to have the dash replaced as they missed the small scratches that were caused by the broken glass on the original piece and they neglected to vacuum the car. I just unexpectedly cut my hand on glass that remained under my drivers seat when trying to grab something that had fallen under.

Did a good fast job on repairs. Anything extra will cost you however small. Major peeve is calling you mid morning to let you know car is ready in a couple of hours on a Friday and they expect you to drop everything and pick up your car. And they are closed on weekends. Other arrangements were made for pickup but rental car company was already alerted on finished job. Had to call insurance company to alert them that not enough time was given to retrieve vehicle and return rental so that I will not be charge for 2 days out of pocket.

This was the second time that I have used the service of the garage. Both times I found them to be excellent. They went out of the way to recommend that I get the sensor on the Tesla checked before starting any body work. I am glad that we did. They are very professional throughout the process. I would strongly recommend them

Very helpful as I dont know much about cars. Being a young woman going to a car shop can be annoying but I never felt taken advantage of, never felt like they were upselling me, and they explained everything in a way that was easy for me to understand. My dad has been in the car service business for over 20 years and agreed they did a great job!
