These guys have always treated me fair the sell used tires for the best price in town. They are the only tire guys I use honesty the best prices and customer service in the game. I don't go anywhere else the people treat you good and give you honest advice....

These guys were amazing! I called and asked if they had my size tire and they said yes! Came down and they took care of me so fast, put the tire on, put my spare back in my car, and were so kind the entire time. Never made me feel stupid for not knowing which tire I should get and showed me the tire before putting it on. They were so fast and efficient and the whole staff of men were so amazing and had such a good attitude towards all the customers and each other. I will definitely go back time and time again because of the kind service. Thanks guys!

Carothers are amazing people...honest fast and hard working. Have had multiple tire services with them...Flat tiers...tier changes on two different vehicles! Always would come back... If you need tire service in area, don't hesitate. They got you! Thank you for your services

I discovered Carothers Tire shop in June of 1997. I was making a trip to the east coast, and I knew my tires were not fit for the trip...but I could not afford new tires. Carothers fixed me up with a set of good used tires. The trip turned out to be a huge success, with no problems on the road. So I became a repeat customer. In 2011 I had one of their tires explode on I-5 in California. When I got home I parked the car until 2014. When I started using the car again I took the exploded tire back to Carothers to have it replaced. I complained about what happened, not really expecting anything...but when they brought the rim back to me with a good used tire on it...they said: "no charge" ...now that is exceptional customer service!

Still the best tire shop in Hillsboro! It's had a face lift in the waiting area, it looks INCREDIBLE!!! BEST TIRE SHOP IN HILLSBORO! Just a great place, staff are always helpful and personable. Soon to be under new management, but the same crew, we'll all miss Doug.

Amazing service! I was in a bind, needing snow tires for a road trip. I called all the big-name companies in the area. Their prices were ridiculous and none of them had what I needed in stock. Shipping was going to take at least a couple days, which wouldn't work for me. I just happened to be driving by Carothers, so I stopped in. Javier helped me out and he was a true pro. We looked at options for new and used tires. He found a set of new tires that could be delivered the by 10am next morning, so I decided to go for it. He called me the next day at 10 right when the tires arrived. I pulled into the shop and within about 20 minutes I was all set and out the door. The price was very fair, much lower than all the competitors, the service was unbeatable and I'm incredibly satisfied with the tires. I couldn't be happier. Carothers is the only place I'll be buying tires from in the future. I also plan on taking my car to them for some suspension work. You should give these guys a try. You'll be happy you did!

Got an alignment from them 2 or 3 months ago. Steering wheel was still cocked 5 degrees to the left like before, and they left several of the bolts barely tightened, had another alignment shop look at it after my back end was wiggling all over the place, and their response was “what the hell did those guys do to your car”

Carothers were great to me! I got my tires done in December and randomly got a leak in them which cause one of them to go completely flat. I went in and within 30 minutes was able to get helped out and they replaced it with no charge because they found that the tire they placed on my car was faulty! So no charge and a good tire on my car! Great service, good pricing, and speedy! 10/10 recommend.

I recommended Carothers to my son when his 2 front tires were flat a couple of weeks ago. I recommended them because when I needed tires a few years ago I went there and they were friendly, knowledgeable, and had the lowest price around. My son got 2 used tires put on his car 2 weeks ago, and today one of them was flat and wouldn't air up. He called Carothers and they told him no problem. Bring it in and they would replace it at no charge. Even though it was USED when he bought it. They take good care of their customers and treat them right. I will always choose Carothers Tire for any tires I need in the future and I will continue to recommend them to the people that I care about. Thank you Carothers for doing the right thing!!!!

My partner took his car in today and we where so pleased with the new ownership. The office is warm and welcoming with the remodel, it's now a very comfortable waiting room. Best used tire organization in the Portland metropolitan area. I was recommended this place almost 15 years ago when I was having tire problems. Every few years it seems I am put in a position where it is recommended I get 4 new tires but, instead, I go to Carothers and get a replacement used tire that matches my other 3. If you aren't buying the used tires rich people throw away then you are wasting money!

Came to Carothers tires to get two tires replaced. I have a AWD car so all the diameters of the tires must match they tried their best to find the match but couldn’t do so. So they gave me a very good price for all 4 tires close to what the price they gave me for 2 tires. They made the whole thing better to insure that I was happy and paid almost the price I was quoted. Thank you Carothers for all the help! I will recommend everyone that needs tires to stop by here and let them handle the tires for you.
