I showed up without an appointment late in the day, and they were more than willing to work me in. They had my tire patched up quickly and I was good to go. They are so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this shop.

After finding my side-view mirror vandalized, I found old emails from neighbors strongly recommending Capital City Automotive. I used the form on their website to ask if they could fix it. They invited me to stop by for 2 mins so they could see the damage. They lived up to their reputation: Instead of hyping up the job and replacing the entire unit, they ordered a replacement cover and had it to quickly install the next day. It was a low-cost repair. I am glad to know they can provide all ongoing service on my car, so I won't have to take it to the dealer.

I had my Subaru towed to CCA after someone crashed into me on the freeway. This was a pretty traumatic event that really set off my week. However, the team at CCA immediately made me feel taken care of, and they had my full trust in getting my car back in tip-top shape. 20-25 days later, my car is back to me looking and driving like new. My daughter needed help with some car issues, including a rattle she didn't understand. I found Capital City Automotive on several review sites. It's easy to get tricked by false or old reviews. These guys are the real deal. They were quick, up front, honest, and kind. I don't know what else you can ask for. Everything was fixed and she had her car back the next day. I can't thank you enough Capital City!

I have been taking all my cars to Capital City Automotive for decades. They always give good service, solid work, and advice you can trust. They help keep your cars so well maintained it's mostly preventative maintenance and repairs, though if you are stuck needing quick help for either a small or major problem, they will accommodate your needs and send you happily on your way. Though I'm sure they have many other clients, the feel like my personal mechanics. If you are looking for a solid mechanic, they will deliver.

I ran out of Diesel in my 26ft Box truck right in front of his shop with my back end sticking out in the road trying to park to no avail. I went up to the owner for Gas station recommendations tht have diesel. He offered me some left over Diesel from his tractor and i was able to make it to the Gas station 2 miles down the road. After speaking with him i can really say he’s a good man from Lebanon running a great busy automotive business. Thanks again man your a life savior God bless!

Great place to take your car! My wife and I recently moved to Austin. On our way down, my wife's car overheated and we ended up limping it to here. They had a quote within a few hours and worked with us as a young couple to not make it more expensive than it needed to be. They had it fixed by the next day. The next week, the starter on our other car went out. Same thing - in and out within a day and fairly priced! Glad we found our mechanic early on!

I bought a 2011 Subaru in 2018 and because I live south I looked for a place to service my vehicle in south/central Austin. I could not be more please with Capital City Automotive. From the very first time I stopped by they have been so helpful and in 6 years I have had only basic things needed on my car. My daughter bought her first car from them and has also loved her experience for the last 4 years. I love the location because I can go get something to eat while they work on my car and when they are done, I drive away knowing my cars needs were taken care of. Hats off to these guys!! They work hard and it shows!

I came here past due on my car inspection and no lie - I believe I was here only 8 minutes. We pass this place fequently since we're in the hood constantly walking Congress and little did I know they can test for state inspections. Pieces of advice: - They only offer these certain times of the day. My short term memory fails me so call and double check what time they do these before you go. - You have to wait with your car at the shop. Which ended up not mattering because they were so quick. (This might not make a difference to those of you who do not live in the area anyway) My experience there was short, but for sure that's definitely good thing.

Scam artists. Charging $250 for an oil change. Don’t come here. These type of people gives mechanics a bad name. Trying to rip people off instead of just charging a fair price and doing their job.
