Had an error message pop up on my vehicle. I called the shop gave them the details and they said bring it in. I did just that. They ran a diagnostic and located the problem(s), there were multiple and I was given a quote. They ordered the parts and have me back on the road. I was given updates about my vehicle and the processes that were taken place throughout the time they had my vehicle. The staff was amazing from the women working the front desk to the mechanics. I will never take my vehicle to another shop. Thank you all so much for your expertise and professionalism. I also appreciate you all not charging me an arm and leg and working with me on the prices and finding parts that were reasonable and affordable. Thank you so much!!!

I ran into some mechanical issues with my Jeep Grand Cherokee and brought it to campus auto repair. Eddie the mechanic over there was super nice and helpful. He evaluated the issue and told me to come back in a couple days. Only one day later he told me the truck was all set. Told me exactly what was going on and what he did to fix the problem. He was very knowledgeable and wasted no time. I highly recommend this spot if you want your vehicle to be worked on in a timely matter by honest people that are master mechanics!

I recently had an exceptional experience at Campus Auto and I can't recommend them enough! From the moment I walked in I was met with customer service, thanks to Ms.Taylor, who was friendly, and very professional. When it came to the actual work, Sam and his team of mechanics truly went above and beyond. They fixed the brakes on my car and resolved a antifreeze leak on my foreign model vehicle.The quality of their work was top tier and I left feeling grateful for their services. I went to get my leaking brake line fixed. They said I needed a new brake chamber and quoted me $450 for an alleged $40.00 part and brake line. They didn’t even press the pedal to see where the leak was coming from. I have an engineering degree and mechanic under my belt. It was just the line and cost me $75.00 at my usual mechanic which, was closed at the time. Either they are crooks, ignorant or rather swap for new when it’s not needed. Didn’t even give me the option. Talking about, “ it’s rusted.” It’s MI buddy. I feel bad for the students and the community. Especially those who aren’t knowledgeable. I implore you to go elsewhere. Plus the attendant looked high as a kite. I don’t mind but, when your high and being nonchalant about charging me almost 5x’s what’s needed. Go somewhere elsewhere Detroiters!

My kid's car (used, but newly purchased) was having a ton of issues, but it was like nobody could give any legitimate explanation of why. The car would be fine for 20-30 minutes, then just stop. Because of this, other places would just say, "well you drove it here, it's fine!" Campus Auto actually took the time to do a full diagnostic on it and unfortunately the car ended up being junk. I was able to get a full refund from the original seller, but Campus Auto is who set me up to do that, and I'm EXTREMELY thankful for them not dismissing the issue and caring enough to follow through.

Never go here. If they assume you have no mechanical background they will price gouge to the absolute highest extent. I was quoted $850 for work originally then once I started questioning it they moved the price down to $425 with the exact same work being done. They have no integrity or respect and the black woman behind the counter especially should be ashamed of herself.

Terrible. Had my vehicle over a year. Whenever I spoke with them, they made promises and then immediately did not fulfill them. Communication was not existent. Every time I called, it was like the first time they had heard from me. Took three months just to convince them to send paperwork to insurance so they could be paid. In the end, the vehicle was not fixed, but they insisted what was wrong. Had nothing to do with their work. Truly terrible. Update 1/2/2025 Please read campus auto’s response below. It sums up well their dishonesty and blaming of others. My consistent calling of campus Auto moved insurance along. There were no delays in picking up the vehicle or storage fees assesd. I contacted them about the car not working after getting it back and the first thing they said before even seeing it was that it sounded like something different than what they worked on and that it would not be covered by 60 day guarantee. Since the bulk of their response casually blames me and nowhere is them talking about how they could improve let me list just a few details to drive home my deep dissatisfaction w their work. -it took over a year. A year. -they replaced the engine. Two parts they put in were not attached correctly and had holes drilled in them and bolted on with in places they shld not of been. One of the pieces was pounded down so it wld fit. The engine started having problems within two weeks of getting it back. After speaking w them and them saying it probably wasn’t covered under their warrantee I took it some where else. I cld not afford for them to have it another year. -may car arrived with all its windows and no issues with the doors. During its time with them two windows were broken and replaced. Not a big deal. Except they didn’t tell me this, I only know from all the glass inside the car and me no longer having a rear windshield wiper. They never made any mention of it and when I asked about the glass they acted like they didn’t know anything. Nevermind that one window had a new sticker on it and the door panel was not reattached correctly. Very professional stuff. -for 13 weeks straight I called every week to get them to submit a supplemental claim to my insurance. Every week they said they would do it. Every week they did not. When they finally did it it took 5 minutes and only happened because I said I would come in and not leave until it was done. -for at least 5 months of the year I asked them to send me a list of the repairs. Over and over they said they would, never sent me them in a whole year. Finally got a list because I would not pay until it had been printed off and handed to me. -the main person kept blaming delays on that other people had quit and he was on his own. That is a couple week excuse. I heard this for at least 3 months as to why it wasn’t done. -when I first brought the car in they told me over and over again that they dealt with insurance all the time and would handle it. I have Esurance which is not great and esurance was a hassle to deal with. As soon as Esurance was messing up, campus auto took that as a sign to stop trying to get it worked out. It took a lot of work by me to get Esurance to pay campus auto (thousands of dollars). Once campus auto stopped trying it became me getting them to do things so they could get their money. Campus auto was harder to deal with than Esurance, which shld tell u all you need to know. This isn’t even all of it but you get the picture.

Got my transmission tested, radiator, and suspension fixed in a timely manner. I was made aware of other issues with my vehicle and we came up with a plan to get the job done. My truck is now back to being road worthy thanks to Campus Auto Repair.

THE MOST DISHONEST PEOPLE! If you trust this mechanic shop with your car, I guarantee you whatever charge they give you is trumped up. First, my sister took her car there, and they told her it was $3200 worth of work. She went to get a second opinion at another shop and it ended up being a fuse!!! With my car, they told me it was my fuel pump, and they changed my fuel pump and when I went to pick my car up, it wouldn’t even start after paying them $2200. I am writing this review because I just took my car to another shop because it wouldn’t start. After the mechanics went through everything they told me that it was my fuel pump, which I just had did by the mechanics at campus auto. So they said they changed it. But they never did and charge me $2200. 🤬 God knows this is true, and if you trust these people, you will wish that you had read this review.

These guys are awesome. I’ve had suspension, brake, and AC work done and they’re always super communicative and do good work. Quick turnaround time on jobs, too. The prices are reasonable and I don’t feel like they’re just trying to make up problems to scam me. Mo and Yehyah are hilarious and friendly, and Eddie got me all set with my repairs. Highly recommend.

Came in for an ac recharge and left absolutely satisfied. The entire team was courteous, professional, and most importantly honest about my car and what it needed. Will definitely return in the future for all of my car needs because honesty is hard to come by.

Moe, Eddie, and the team took great care of my 2017 Audi Q3 — full pads/rotors + an oil change + engine air filter were performed at a very reasonable cost with warranty (for brakes). They are patient and easy to work with. Eddie is an expert Audi, BMW, and Land Rover technician. My Q3 rides smoother than it did after service at Audi Farmington Hills. I’ll be back for a winter oil change, thanks guys!

These guys will have you thinking you are their little neice or nephew. They care about their customers and you can tell Acts of Service is their love language. They fixed my whole list of issues for my Jeep from front to back within 24 hours. They fixed things that I didn't even mention! Brought the car in with a coolant leak, radiator had a crack in it. Mo got the parts ordered for us and Eddie had the car running great again the next day.

Do yourself a favor and take your car to these fine gents. Honest and hard working people. Mo hooked it up with getting a new radiator in ASAP and Eddie came through and made the necessary repairs. They also helped me out last fall replacing my cluster. I know it's not easy finding parts for an '06 Mitsubishi Lancer but these guys found a way and do quality work!

Moe, Eddie, and the whole team went above and beyond to get my AC fixed quickly, even when they were swamped with so many other customers. Seriously, their office is jam-packed with customers every day because so many people have come to trust them. In spite of that, they will take the time to tell you what's going on with your car every step of the way, and their work is always solid at a fair price. Highly recommend.
