Super nice and super honest. When i called other auto stores to get a quote on time to wait to get my tire patched, caliber/sun told me to come right in! It took out 30 minutes and i was in and out. Reasonable prices too.

Technicians are always so friendly and helpful. Their quality work and thorough evaluation of our vehicle has always left me feeling confident and trusting that they are looking out for our best interest and the best performance of our vehicle. It never feels like it’s about making a quick buck like so many places now a days do. Highly recommend them for all your auto maintenance needs.

By far the best service we have received from any auto shop. They are always very professional and their prices are extremely reasonable. I got quoted double the price at the Chevrolet dealership for an issue I had already had fixed 2.5 years prior. Chevrolet charged $106 2.5 years ago and was now attempting to charge me $447. Caliber did the fix for almost half the price Chevrolet was attempting to charge. They always get my vehicle fixed in a timely manner. They have now done all fixes on my car for the past couple of years. We do not take our vehicles to any other shop. Thank you for always giving us a great experience in an industry where they try to take advantage of people.

Before service, I was told one price by one employee. After service, I was told another price increased by a little over double by another employee. RED FLAG!! I want to come back, but I don't want to wonder am I being taken advantage of. It only takes one person to ruin the reputation of a facility.

I recently had some car issues, and I couldn’t be more impressed the service that was provided. Rudy is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely cares about getting things right. He went above and beyond to ensure my car was in top shape. My car is now running better than ever. I highly recommend Rudy and this location based on how trustworthy and professional they were while handling my vehicle. I will be back if I have any issues in the future.

They spill oil all over my engine smoke everywhere and smell so bad I was choking in my jeep. They offered to clean it but all they did is was the car outside not even took off the oil from the engine cover or bottom of panel. Too much oil spilled on my engine it made me sick. They just told me if something happened please let us know. I don’t think they would do anything anyway. Be careful where you take your car for just and oil change I really don’t think they are professional. I saw a lady complaining too while I was there saying they mess up her car.

Today I took my car in to Caliber Auto Care on Alamo Ranch Pkwy for a 60,000 mile check up. After they did the inspection it turned out all I needed was an oil change and fuel injection service. The bill was not as much as I feared. Plus they paid for the Uber to take me home and pick me up after the work was completed. Nice experience!

I visited Caliber Auto Care for a state inspection, but unfortunately, my experience left me disappointed. After waiting in the lobby for a few minutes, I was informed that my car couldn't pass the inspection unless I replaced both wiper blades. The quoted price was $20 per blade—significantly higher than what I found with a quick online search. The reasons given were a small tear at the bottom of one blade and that the other blade was slightly curved in the middle, which supposedly made it not flush with the glass. When I went outside and asked to see the issues for myself, I found the tear to be minor and not in a critical area. As for the second blade, it appeared perfectly fine to me. To make matters worse, the person handling my car admitted no ticket had even been started yet for the inspection, which made me question how thorough—or accurate—their evaluation was. I decided to take my car elsewhere for the inspection. At the second location, the process was quick and easy, and my car passed without any mention of the wipers. This left me feeling like the initial recommendation at Caliber Auto Care was more about upselling than necessity. While I can't speak to their other services, I won’t be returning for inspections. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I’d caution others to be vigilant about unnecessary recommendations.

I was told about this company by Valvoline oil change on Calebra (although he said Caliber Collision) and they mentioned Firestone. But Firestone wasn’t going to be able to get to my vehicle until Monday. Which would’ve been fine. But I didn’t like how that money for a diagnostic was brought up even though one had been ran (no it wasn’t a paid one but still) and said what the problem was. Anyway I went to Caliber Collision (didn’t sound right but went anyway) where I was told oh no they must’ve meant Caliber Auto Care. I went over there and immediately was told yes they’re sure that my coolant sensor was faulty (that’s what the free diagnostic code at oReilly’s said it was) that they’ve replaced several on the Chrysler vehicles this year 2024 of course. They got my vehicle in same day and was finished the next day. I was given a ride home and would’ve been picked up to come and get my vehicle, but my son dropped me off. I was told they can also fix the smashed radio screen. They have a credit offer that has 2 ways to try and get you approved. No credit check or credit check, I got approved and was just pleased with the overall experience. Keep in mind though the company’s name will be changing to Sun Auto Service by July. This is my go to auto repair shop for as long as I’m here in San Antonio.

This is my first review on Caliber Automotive. I failed to write reviews on my last two visits. The team at Caliber has always treated me with such professionalism and kindness. Caliber make their customers feel important and they don’t force the service upon their customers. All my vehicle repairs go to Caliber Automotive. Great job team.
